On the LoG - the reason we implemented it isn’t about pressure or the label “scam.”
If they cannot provide it, I will label them as a scam. It’s enough that I was polite about these newly created services and the best UI design directories especially when it comes to advertising scam swap services and scamming users.
What happened is this: a user contacted me and told me the story mentioned above. Did i believe it? no.
You said you’d call us scam if we didn’t respond. But if you personally didn’t believe the story, what would you actually be calling us a scam for? Saying “I don’t believe this happened” and “I’ll label you scam if you don’t act on it” don’t really go together.
And to be clear, no, raising it wasn’t wrong on your part either.
On the post itself - you say you personally didn’t believe the story, but that’s not really how it reads. It’s titled “Incident Report Warning,” the person is called “victim” the whole way through, not “the user” or “the person claiming this happened.” Most of the text is written in a pretty confident tone too: “their reply was…”, “this is on El Capo’s side.”
The “may be real or fabricated” line is just one sentence at the end, it’s not really the frame the rest of it is written in.
Anyone reading this cold is going to read it as a confirmed incident, not a careful, unverified warning. That’s the actual disconnect here.
I think you misunderstood me about LoG; I’m very sensitive about it because I’ve seen many people get scammed here, and most of them did not have LoG, which is why I was angry and if you still insist dont want to issue the LoG for swaps, I would consider that a red flag. Since every day we see new exchanges create topics, ads themself without LoG while looking for new users, and although I always politely ask them about LoG, many of them do not even bother replying, whether because they do not understand or because their intention is to scam users; also, above text written "words from the user” were not mine but the user’s, while my own words were written below in black font, so I only posted that it could be real or fabricated; as you can see, there was a “Note to the Community” from Trêvoid, which was my part, and the text above was the user’s words.
Furthermore, yesterday I invited the user, and if this case is real and the user truly wants to defend himself, I asked him again to message here, because if he does not respond then it means the user is fake and the case is fake, which would make the topic easy to delete; as a result, one liar and his tactic have been exposed, and another result is that you have added LoG to your system, so your system is now protected from such false claims and future users also can have LoG.
yes, I told everyone that without LoG it is hard to believe words alone, so I requested you to add it because this is not a bad thing; I also edited the user’s post and removed victim word, added user word, and I will wait about eight hours, after which, if he does not show up, this thread will be removed, so you do not need to worry; I am just doing my best to protect the community and be more transparent.

Don’t trust “good-looking, coded-nice UI” vibe aggregator that doesn’t actually care about the community.
You are not directory or aggregator. We recently had a scam issue with hide(.)cash and it was all about there was a directory listed an exchange which scammed users.
