It is very awful even trying to even picture the abuse on a minor. That's very sad. The main harm here is  when the kids are really affected by the  sexual abuse. We've passed the stage where kids don't know their private parts. Every kid needs to be educated on this. What do to prevent it, avoid it like plague.

What can a kid really do to protect himself? Whatever a kid knows about her speciality can do little in stopping a determined person from abusing him/her. The kid in this instance should not be a subject of discus because they generally aren't capable of defending themselves and by Thier age, it's easy for them to be manipulated.

Even a teenager can be easily manipulated by a grown up adult how much more a kid that doesn't have the maturity of knowing what setting boundaries entails. men expecially should know that certain things should never come to thier mind regardless their sexual urge. I trust some society that are good in taking laws into their hands, if you're caught engaging in any act of that nature, be sure that you've booked a date with your maker.

Parents also have some roles to play. When parents don't give their children enough attention, they might be easily abused. Investigation about children abuse should be comprehensive. I will see the movie in my free time. I've been in a court where a teenager was testifying her ordeal in the hand of a relative that raped her, she was silent about the whole thing for the first time, but the guy kept on coming back, she narrated the entire forceful entry and the threat she kept on receiving if she reveals it to anyone, in fact the entire courtroom was having a pin drop silence as you could see how nervous everybody was. It was there, I've kept on saying that anybody that commits such crime, doesn't deserve to keep that body part anymore.

I agree with that statement.   The worst part of your example is the accused came from a position of trust.  She probably did not come forward out of fear her family would take sides. Often other family members are aware (religious perversions) and say nothing - the literal pedophile protector.  Given my past in law enforcement, I'd be in favor of those perverts getting the same treatment.   How can you be aware of pedophilia and not say anything?

I think every country has there law concerning pedophiles and the numbers of years they will spend in prison for doing it. If somehow it is done to an underage person and the government is not taking full action, it means the information hasn't gotten to the right authority or the family members are just hiding it to prevent the victim of facing charges or the consequences of his actions. But if it's done the normal way the perpetrator will Roth in jail. I had a relative that her child was abused by the sister staying with her and it's something we should pay attention too.

This act is disgusting and deserves the worst punishment, no matter what position or value the defaulters holds. Also, children should be taught how to evade situations that could lead to sexual molestation, because it would always start with a conversation before full on penetration.

Many stupid people will have in their defence that "young is sweet" which seems so absurd and revolting, you would see that all over social media where people comment on a young girl's post with naughty advances, that's the kind of world we live in now. Sexual abuses needs more severe penalties whether the victim is an infant, a teenager or an adult. There's no justification for sexual abuses, therefore offenders deserves a more hardened punishment so that it will create fear among intending pedophiles. I don't know why some people do omit women in cases like this, yes we know that the rate of women who involves themselves in such act is minimal when compared with the rate of men but women should never be excluded because the society have made it look like defiling the male child doesn't really matter much but it does because there are male children that still carry the scare of what a big aunty did to them while they were growing up. I can even say for a fact that the rate at which male children are being defiled is very alarming but since the society view the male genitals as something that is not sacred as that of a woman, it will be difficult to admit that male kids also get sexually harassed by women.

Glad there's such a movie for awareness and there should be no way these evil committed in the dark are forgiven by society nor the government. And at the same time, I don't know if this is enough to tell children not to be scared to report to their guidance and parents if they ever fall into something like this. There's the Epstein files with no persecution or investigations done to cramp down the names linked with abusing minors and children, I hope these children gets justice.

Men are the unlucky ones. Men are more easily caught in the act of pedophilia than women. It doesn't change the fact that women are part of the pedophile club. There are lots of cases against pedophile women where the court let the women go free after trial. If that were a man, he would face a sentence for taking advantage of an underage girl.

Society has to start looking at both sides of the system. Men and women who are pedophiles should face the consequences.

The government should have imposed harsh punishment on whoever is caught in that act whether it's a man or a woman. But even some fraction of the government's are part of the pedo cycle. It's now getting more severe that , they sometimes shove it on our faces in movies.  It's a big taboo, sometimes I usually think that people who indulge in this act are mentally unstable. Because why would little kids who they can birth look attractive to them , I see it as mental issues. They need to go the hospital and be treated. After such incidents, immediate justice must be arranged and punishment must be ensured. If the judicial system of many countries is not good, then if it is not possible to judge quickly, many times the criminals go free. And the family and the educational institution should teach the child personal safety. The family should explain to the children what kind of behavior they should avoid if they see it in a person. The worst punishments should be given to pedophiles, the same punishments for killing should be given to offenders. Nigeria has one of the best punishments for offenders, a life imprisonment and no option for bail. Pedophiles have no place in the outside world, they should be locked up for life. Both genders should be protected, not only men are portrayed as pedophiles, women are becoming monsters too.

Some parents lack good communication with their children, it becomes really hard for children to complain and express themselves, which is really bad. Most victims keep living with trauma for years and growing up with nobody open to hearing them out, and helping them recover from it. Families should pay close attention to their children, i do not blame most parents who tend to be overprotective of their children, the world is evil nowadays.

Its something that have been there for a long time, but you know anyone that is caught that is who people will see as a criminal, it’s punishable by the law when an adult abuses a minor or a child, people that are pedophile I really don’t understand what gets into their head, or I could see them as people who a mentally challenged, because I don’t understand how an adult abuse a child that is of age to be called their child, or relatives, it’s a terrible crime to commit, and I think people who are pedophile should be sent to life in prison, they should stay in prison for the rest of their miserable existence.
