One of the key reasons why i like gambling is that it gives the bettor an opportunity to have a feel of the event under consideration even though the bettor is not the one playing he gets the opportunity to participate through predicting the final outcome.

Personally gambling has thought me discipline, perseverance and maturity, initially when i started gambling i often gambled repeatedly without having any control of my gambling appetite, i was often times chasing loses and sometimes when i won i immediately rush into making another bet that ends up not going my way, i also gave up easily on my predictions especially when i gambled on sports. Currently i have gained maturity in gambling, i don’t just gamble out of emotions, i ensure i am not under any pressure while gambling above all am ready to accept any outcome of my gamble wether positive or otherwise.

Have done this for a few months already and i could say that i'm slowly getting the discipline but there are just times when it is very hard to walk away when you already have lost your budget for the day knowing that you still got some money in our wallets.

Yes. Once we build the momentum, things seem to just flow smoothly. But for those that experience a kind of addiction before, things are not the same on them anymore, like even if they think they are recovering but even a simple peak could make them return on their bad old habits again. So if possible, I would avoid it. To be safe, it is also best to turn any digital money into a physical one, or physical assets, if our addiction to gambling is only online. When you cannot have funds online, you may stop thinking about gambling at some point of time. Simple trick but works effectively.

But it you can have that discipline to walk away from a loss or even in a winning moment then i think you are be called a responsible gambler already.

One lesson i've learned in gambling is that no matter how much to have win, it will go back to the bookies if you won't set a limit on your winnings as you will lose in the long run.

What if the amount you set is still unrealistic? That is only the same. For me, I don't really set a win limit but I know how to stop if I think the amount is sufficient already. Please take note, this amount is not too much. gambling within own set of principles would help but not possible for every gambler and more importantly not at possible from day one in gambling, lol.

Don't force yourself to continue playing when you have lost your first deposit, if you are indeed having a good gambling session (especially with slots), you should win on your first deposit. These are truly life lessons, especially about stopping after a win. Many players think just one more bet, and in the end they give everything they won back to the casino. The kind of advice you have given is absolutely the key to self-control. You are right and every gambler needs to have proper self-control over themselves. We always see that addicted gamblers face big losses. And the two lessons you mentioned may sound easy to listen to, but in the context of gamblers, these are the two hardest things to do. I know some gamblers who started gambling just for fun. Later on, they became very happy when they won and at some point they started thinking that it is possible to win again and again in the same way. The biggest lesson for me is that gambling is a clear test of emotion, not just luck. When you are winning, it is easy to feel invincible. When you are losing, you want to chase it back. Both mindsets are dangerous. Another thing I have learned is that the house is always watching. They surely know when you are on a hot streak or when you are kind of tilting. When I was betting, the hardest part for me was to stop, as I didn't know when to stop after a loss or after a win. Gambling would have been entirely enjoyable if we were be able to follow this approach. But as you can see, it is very simple to say, but doing it consistently becomes a very big deal for many gamblers. Honestly, I think we are big enough to know that gambling depends on luck, because till now many gamblers don't usually have time to take a break from gambling. They always have this feeling that they are going to become rich overnight in gambling.
