Good point Zwei. Applying a fee for inactivity should be considered as a great feature not something critical. However, we know that a user can be inactive for one reason or another. And the casino knows well that majority of users don't read TOS before or after making deposits. I am not defending users ignorance but the concept of applying fees for dormant accounts reminds me of the banking system. Casinos are not banks and keeping that money safe won't cost anything for casinos, unless they want to fill their empty hot wallets with some assets since they are actually empty.
I cant also understand why this term is taken as something bad by some people until thinking about the casino making scam accusations against players because of this terms is not making any senses.
The terms is clear enough, as what is written that the casino will try to contact the account first before starting to charge the inactivity fee or before the account is considered as inactive.
If we read and understand the term properly, this term or to be more specific the inactivity is simply applied for dormant account with some balance only. dormant accounts without any balance do not need to worry about this term because the casino has nothing to charge.
But why charging fees for inactivity at first place. First income of the casino is money coming from users placing bets. They are not providing a monetary service so they can apply fees just like banks do. I read answer from op above and i am not convinced by his concept. And I guess better they revise what they are about to apply. Imagine someone make a large deposit in this casino then get arrested for few months. After being free he comes back to his account to find that he lost his money in a casino without losing bets. I find this ridiculous somehow. And about fees for empty balances, yes the TOS allows them to charge fees for all the inactive accounts no matter he has money onside or not.
Good point,
Kavelj22, That's exactly why we've already removed that rule
You're totally right, it makes no sense to penalize someone just because they're away for a bit
License / Registration: As we stated transparently from the beginning, we are operating under a Costa Rica corporate registration entity right now, not a traditional tier-1 iGaming master license. We've never tried to hide that fact transparency is our priority.
I have re read your answers multiple times, but I'm still confused with you licensing terms. This
Costa Rica corporate registration entity thing - this is an actual license? YES or NO!
Or is it until you get a real one, you are just using it for a temporary thing! Like when we don't have an actual drivers license but learning to drive and they give the learner's permit. Please elaborate!
And what about restricted countries and VPN usage?
Lastly what's with the AI generated responses!? Know that you cannot/shouldn't do that! Posting AI generated text is prohibited as per forum rule.
Hello
DYING_S0UL,
About License, no Costa Rica registration is not an iGaming license, It is simply a corporate registration, we are operating under this structure while we work towards securing a proper license, we've been 100% transparent about this from the start.
VPN and restricted countries, we do not restrict VPN usage, our platform is built for privacy, so players are free to use a VPN.
About AI responses, we don't use it to generate our forum replies every message here is written by us, ბut yes, of course we use AI tools in our day-to-day operations and workflow, just like pretty much every tech company today.
Hope that clears things up 🙏
