Although it's too soon, Itauma is very ripe to become a champion; he is an exciting boxer to watch. I like his patience, his skill set, and his timing; of course, his power makes him the feared boxer of the new generation.

Filip Hrgovic is also a tough fighter, but if he goes toe-to-toe against Itauma, he's going to get knocked out. Hrgovic may be an underdog here, but he is one underdog you don't underestimate because he can deliver a knockout.

I like Itauma to win the fight, which I believe he will likely do, and agree that he can unify all the titles. After Tyson, he is the next exciting boxer many have seen

You may say I was never a true boxing fan because a true boxing fan should know Moses Itauma and Filip Hrgovic but if you are being honest with yourself this has to be the worse era of the great boxing game.
An IBF heavy weight fight is always energetic and one everybody is looking forward to but I think I speak for many that these two fighters aren't well know, this doesn't mean that they aren't good but the boxing game has lost value.

Boxing uses to be better than this now we have very good fighters at the later stage of their career if there isn't a quick change after a while we will be seeing even worse fight than moses Itauma vs Filip Hrgovic.

Less than 15% chance win for Hrgovic. What a non sense thing is this?  

It's hard to understand why most people underrated him. Meanwhile, i feel he can give a trouble to Itauma.  I don't even believe Itauma can knock out him so easily like he did to Franklin.
A man who has been giving a tough game against the best version of Dubois should not be taken this easy especially he nver get KO until now. It's such a disrespect for him.

Frankly, those who are voting for or betting on Horgovich are either living in old mindset or wasting their money. haha

This fight will be for the vacant IBF World Heavyweight title. Frank Sanchez got step aside fee, so stakes couldn't be any higher. This is a massive legacy fight.

Itauma is only 21. His hand speed, southpaw angle and pocket movement are outstanding. If he wins, he will become 2nd youngest heavyweight champion of all time after Tyson.

I've seen Horgovic slow down in recent big fight. He is easily hurt and seems very tired most of the time. There is no such thing as his defense under pressure. Against a quick and aggressive southpaw, i think he is going to get pieced up from range.

My prediction Itauma by KO/TKO in rounds 4-7. I think Hrgovic won't survive the early high pace and speed.

Nevertheless I'm actually kinda curious on how people who are really good at betting in boxing tennis and other one on one kinda games sort their variables to pick a side. Say these two guys for instance do you just say well this guy is stronger based on previous matches and go straight for him?

I'm asking because it seems the bet risk is gonna be pretty high because all the odds are resting on a single person and let's not forget people can flop and make mistakes too. For instance you picked a newer guy over an underdog seems really dumbfounding to me because I were to bet on a team match my best bet would be the underdog.

It's a bit controversial how the fight came about with Frank Sanchez stepping aside from the title shot. This is like the media fight that they believe everyone wants to see and I do hope it lives up to the hype. If Ituama wins, he has a direct shot against unification with the other vacant titles.

Sanchez on the other hand gets a pay check now and time to prepare for either of these two opponents he'll be facing later in the year.

It's just one of the factors; I have followed both boxers' careers, and my comparison is based on who they fought, their skill set, and their level, because in boxing there is level. I will never bet on a new guy who KO'd 10 unknown opponents over an experienced guy who loses by close decisions against boxers in the top 5

You just have to see how Itauma disposed of Jermaine Franklin and Dillian Whyte who is a WBC interim heavyweight title and regional belts like the British heavyweight championship. Yes, Itauma just tun pro in 2023; he's a new kid on the block in boxing, but he is a favorite against a veteran Hrgovic.

Itauma's ascension is easy because the best boxers are already aged, and the opposition for Itauma's road to glory is very smooth. If he gets a fast Hrgovic, he can do it against Dubois; the real challenge is against Kabayel.
I'm sure they save this for later.
Will we see Itauma against Fury or Joshua or Usyk, hopefully, but I doubt it.

Betting on boxing is quite different because no one can actually tell how a fight would end and in this case, there's always a motivation behind the fight.
I think also that Filip is the underdog here even though there's the possibility of him winning despite Itauma's momentum and work rate.
I would go for the top dog though because the stats says so and Itauma's technical prowess is raw power and momentum that can easily wear off Filip, to make a history record along side Mike Tyson as the youngest heavyweight champion with IBF belt title to him name.

I'm not really sure what you mean, we have a great HW division, with Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder Anthony Joshua and then Usyk fighting each other in the last 5+ years if I'm not mistaken. Those are the top tier and there will be second tier and that fits Filip Hrgovic.

We also have Daniel Dubois as well, touted to be the next face of HW, but then we have the uprising Moses Itauma here. So this could be a good stepping stone fight for the young Itauma. 21 years old and in the brink of a record to be the second youngest HW champion, behind only to Mike Tyson.
