Boltz swaps were disabled

Not sure why this isn't gaining traction on Bitcointalk.

Boltz swaps were disabled 2 days ago because they said some people were using AI to probe their infrastructure.

Funds were never at risk, but all the Lightning functionality in Aqua, Bull Bitcoin, Blockstream Wallet, Arkade etc is now not working anymore.

Forsyth Jones mentioned it in my thread, [Unofficial] Boltz exchange - Bitcoin atomic swaps two days ago. It's in Service Discussion > Exchanges.
User funds were never at risk according to their statement but it's possible that Boltz lost some of its reserves.

They said:

To be explicit: no user funds were ever at risk. Boltz is non-custodial by design. And as a fully bootstrapped company, the losses were ours alone.

To me that sounds like the service lost something unless they are talking about potential losses had certain vulnerabilities and flaws been discovered and abused.

I saw this post on X, the context is that boltz issued a warning signing a pgp letter to users certifying that they (boltz) have not received any government order to seize their infrastructure (yet).

In the letter mentions that they will commit to issuing a new notice within 60 days stating that they are fine, if don't, they stop updating us, we can consider that the worst has happened.

In short, they implemented a kind of deadman switch that will serve as an alert if they are under coercion.

The notice was issued on the domain called warrant canary, a transparency mechanism used by privacy services: https://canary.boltz.exchange/

That doesn't seem to be the reason - they just signed a new canary today.
