I started off this season easy. 8th place, but already 5 points behind buwa. However, I'm not worried. Last season I was hanging around the middle of the table until last few rounds. Then I made that big round with correct outcome of all games and kept it until the end.

5 points should be nothing for you guys. All I need to do is forget one or two Friday picks, and you can count on me to do that every season (but hey, some people change, maybe I will?).

Of course on the inconsistent boys in red, I would have expected you to hedge your emotions on that one, you don't think there is some value in going with Ipswich, or you just need a reason to start the #IraolaOut campaign earlier than necessary ? Whatever the case might be we'll find out soon enough, but from the sidelines, the best value in betting on Liverpool right now, regardless of what outcome you're choosing, is on their opponents to also find the back of the net.

I'm sure there will be weeks where there 2 or more people scoring the same number of points. Especially considering most would stick to the same strategy of betting on favourites.

i took a look at last season because i still remember that matchday well...
in fact, on matchday #24 last season, there were five players who tied for the matchday win with the same number of points (19)
i think that was the highest number of winners on one matchday... unfortunately, there were no more free bets available because the sponsor pulled out...

Five points should be (and it is) enough for any of us to catch up. Just don't go on a winning spree because in that case it will be hard to catch you. Last season getting correct results in all games of one round got me to the top of the table, but I can't count doing that in every season

Wow, so besides the fact that it's 50 bucks, it's also not a free bet in the traditional sense (i.e. the body of the bet remains)?
Very generous of Vega, even if there are wagering requirements (i still don't understand whether they exist or not), in any case we try to increase our winnings much more significantly 
By the way, a good find. If United, which is one and a half times stronger than Liverpool (3 points against 2 hehe) beat Ipswich in the home game 5-2, then Liverpool should win away by 1 goal. Judging by the statistics of all three clubs, the exact score will be 3-2 in favor of Liverpool.

I wonder if this a new form of differentiation? Jackpotter surrpised me with that too (freebet stake is returned with winnings) and now if Vega's also doing it, then it actually makes sense to bet on more reasonable outcomes just to wager that freebet.

I'm also unclear on what the wagering requirements are, to be honest. I might try and withdraw when (haha, not if) the bet settles as a win then I'll at least know it was a 1x. I'll be the experimenter. I know I should just ask support, but call me lazy, because I am.

And yes, I'm actually surprised by the odds (I wasn't hunting, I'm like a well-trained circus gibbon). 4-3 might actually be quite realistic too..!

I know from other contests with Vega that they just deposit the promised amount into your account and don't even require you to wager it. I think they belong to the most generous casinos out there when it comes to these "little" bonuses. No conditions attached is quite unique. And withdrawals have been faaaast for me.

As you guys said, or @buwaytress, we had the discussion, the first time I placed my Jackpotter freebet and then got the stake + the winnings returned, I was confused! I wasn't sure I remember my freebet amount correctly, that was really cool.

By the way, you should have asked me before as I know that this is going to be a clean sheet 3-0 for Ipswich.


Edit: @cygan have you had a concrete agreement with Vega whether this is a freebet in the traditional sense or whether it is free money? I know that you can most likely withdraw it without wagering it. But if it is supposed to be wagered once, maybe we should treat this as a gentlemen's agreement and do it regardless.

By the way, speaking of clubs that underperform (and who owe me money), I'll bet on PSG also. A home game against a good opponent isn't exactly a great deal at 1.43, but is Enrique really going to screw up for the fourth time in a row? 1.43x1.52 give an acceptable 2.17. I'll definitely make this multibet, and of course other more daring ones too, but I haven't checked the line yet, I've been without internet all day lol.
As for the Bundesliga, Bayern will obviously score at least 3, yesterday there was a funny game in the cup and they are going at the same crazy speed.

Very nice to read the freebet is not deducted from our wins in case we win the ticket, that is good since sometimes the freebet being cut from the prize make us going to higher odds to get at least something and increasing the chances of losing it also. I know that is how the casino works and gives them an extra hedge.

Lets hope i win a round so i can test it myself. Is gonna be hard to me to do so since i always made bad runs in this pool.

I'm happy with how the prizepool is being allocated, especially since the total prize is quite good and there are also quite a lot of participants in this sponsored pool. In some other sponsored pools, they might have 30 participants but 10 winners. Like wtf lol

This is what I personally prefer. It's better to have less winners, even if the prizes are good, because otherwise all the effort and time spent participating can feel like a waste when the prize is small.
