to make up a few points and climb a few spots in same time, you have to take some risks and predict an unexpected outcome in select games (where you think there might be an upset)
but it also takes a bit more luck… that particular game has to be 'played' just right...

Contests like this one are really hard when it comes to picking the right strategy. Long-term, predicting the most likely outcomes should earn you the most points, but the problem is that everyone tends to do the same.
Going against the grain in every round will likely put you at a disadvantage in the long run, so it has to be done smart, i.e., betting on an underdog in a fairly even game (two teams on a similar level). Being familiar with the Bundesliga and actually watching games could be a massive advantage over those who make predictions based only on sports odds (bookies don't always get things right).
Another thing is predicting the exact score. Those are more of a bonus anyway, as it's really hard to get it right, so going with something less popular than 2-0 or 2-1 could give you some edge over others.

I was just reading the last round results and despite my (again) poor performance and being on the bottom half of the leaderboard i just notice something, in the first 3 games of this past round only 2 guys get one correct result which is super low and show how hard it was to predict that first games and how bad some teams play after the international break.


IT was pure fault of Dortmund and Bayer Munich which manage to only draw in their respective games. And pawel, what or why did you put a 2-2 in Bayern Augsburg?

Oh that felt really quick, I guess that's what Champions League games do to you, club football 2x per week minimum. Dortmund are really shaky it seems, not sure I can go for them blindly like always, but maybe in local league different?

Referencing all the talk before about unsustainable MD points, I now count a mere 6 with only three matches to go. Had to be one of those days where Elversberg had another spree (they must have not spent a lot of time training on penalties though!) and BVB were as incisive as a centenarian without dentures.

As long as everyone else drops points I can't complain.

round #6 ended today with a 1-2 loss to mönchengladbach. as a result, the club remains without a single point after 6 games...

Clinging on to top spots. Barely. Second is not bad but surrounded by rivals. The likes of Slam and Hoody killing me with their 2-1 picks, honestly, but trying to outdo everyone with other picks not really helping me much especially when I keep trying to disrespect Elversberg and they keep punishing us stubborn pickers for it.

Well bloody done to Saint-loup and Cryptoblivion... 2-1 all the way sans Bayern does the job just nice, fairplay!

Not the best round for me. Only 9 points, which was my 2nd worst round so far. A bit painful, as I think I spent most time on this one, analysing and trying to get things right. I took a bit of a gamble predicting 3 draws, but missed all of them. There go my hopes of catching up with the top. Oh well.
For the next round, I'm going with only 1 draw (unless I change my mind later).

Given that he also won the tie-break both times, I’d say this is a truly rare occurrence that’s unlikely to happen again (the first tie-break, if I recall correctly, involved five participants).
For me, it was a decent round, considering I made my predictions using my spinal cord rather than my actual brain For some reason, I put things off until the last moment and was in a rush.
The Bundesliga table has finally taken on its standard look, with Bayern at the top, the only real surprise so far is Mönchengladbach, with their six defeats, lol.

Ohhh fuck i dont know what happen to me in this last round, despite the tag and despite in the app they send also a reminder one day before and the same day i forget to make my picks and i just lost like 6 games from the round, despite it in the last 3 ones which were the only one in which i submit my picks i ended up with at least 4 points, is a complete garbage i know but at least 4 is better than 0.

My only salvation is since im already at bottom is not so much hurt to myself.


About this Bundesliga season until now is becoming pretty strange, not only because Bayern Munich didint have already a 54587 points advantage but also for example Borussia Dortmund is super low scoring and other teams like Hoffenheim and Gladbach are doing a super bad start.

Maybe that's not the worst idea.
If I don't see any major improvement in the next few rounds, I'll seriously consider a "retardmaxing" strategy. No analysis, everything based on a gut feeling alone. If you can't win, the 2nd best thing is to cut down the losses and not spend too much of your time on it + relax and have fun.

Yeah, this season didn't start great for me so I will have to do something out of the ordinary to try and catch up with the guys at the top. Or just leave the champion place to others and aim for the weekly rewards. While there is a chance for me to catch up, I will try. But there is always something to play for.
