5 accounts cheating casino bitcointalk promo

Another cheater. Just saw this update from SCORAS ANN thread.

SCORAS found XOOMBOX and mobile linked through the same device and IP.

According to them, XOOMBOX and mobile were linked through the same device and IP address, resulting in both accounts being permanently blocked for welcome bonus abuse.

They also said they didn't confiscate any deposited funds. The only loss on their side was the $20 welcome bonus that was claimed before their risk system detected the linked accounts.

Unfortunately, our risk system has identified these accounts as being linked through the same device and IP address, indicating multi-accounting and abuse of the welcome promotion.

As a result, both accounts have been permanently blocked and the promotional bonuses have been removed in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

For transparency, no deposited funds have been confiscated and no legitimate player balances have been affected. The only loss incurred by SCORAS was a single $20 welcome bonus that was successfully claimed before our risk system detected the linked accounts.

We have a zero-tolerance policy towards bonus abuse to ensure promotions remain fair for genuine players.

For full transparency, our Risk Team has completed a further investigation and identified additional Bitcointalk users operating multiple SCORAS accounts.

The following SCORAS User IDs have now been permanently blocked:

636638539

Our investigation found that these accounts were controlled by the same individual, who created and used three separate Bitcointalk accounts together with multiple SCORAS accounts in an attempt to claim the welcome promotion multiple times.

SCORAS has a zero-tolerance policy towards multi-accounting and bonus abuse. We will continue monitoring all claims to ensure the promotion remains fair for genuine Bitcointalk members.

If so, these accounts should be investigated by Bitcointalk DT members and negatively tagged as scammers:

The anti-fraud system seems to be working perfectly on this casino site, but these two accounts will certainly participate in other similar giveaways on the forum in the future if we ignore this now. Perhaps they didn't expect to be caught so foolishly.

I haven't checked their history, but most likely these accounts were bought or hacked.

If we talk about the fact that  LeyMonte is Filipino, then these two accounts also belong or belonged to Filipinos.

3 of the 5 are already tagged. While I agree that tagging them doe help to stop them from participating in on forum activities such as sig campaigns, bounties, and other contests hosted on the forum I don't think it keeps them from trying to cheat a casino. The casino seems to have detection tools in place which helps cheaters be outed on the forum though.

Casinos might need to make a user link their profile from this forum and check it before providing them with any bonus and exclude red trusted accounts. I don't know if they are willing to do that as the business is super competitive and they want all the customers they can get.

Because innocent people usually have a calmer mind to refute any accusations.

2 totally different cases don't ya think? 1 is being accused of the administrator of the forum who has all the proof in the world. Can see PM logs and IP logs and would not come forward without 100% solid proof, whereas other accusations are less solid proof from those of you who take the time to bust these guys who cheat.

Not taking anything away from what you guys do, just saying the evidence is more speculative that 100% solid. In the end we get to the same conclusion in most cases though.

You are partly right, but sometimes they do put up a fight, though especially if their income stream is going to be massively affected. I think you have seen some of the cheats who have been busted before come up with stories of friends, brothers or relatives owning the other accounts, etc

Thanks for bringing up this matter on the forum, but it would be better if the casino created a reputation thread by themselves with the minimal evidence that could be shared publicly. It’s pretty clear they abuse the promo as per the casino statement. But based on their statement, I can’t tag the account, although 4 of the 5 accounts are already tagged for some other reason.

I think tagging them for cheating would be questionable, although I really want to punish them. For such a situation, I am not tagging them for cheating; ask the casino if they could raise concern from their end with minimal evidence. Then the community, including me, would consider what should be done.

The problem was the image was taken from a random website and cropped. Truly embarrassing.

I would be reluctant to issue tags based on IP evidence outside the forum, but if its a piece in a puzzle that is otherwise almost complete, then it would be hard to deny. Not sure if that's the case here as we have 3 overlapping local sections involved.

The accounts were purchased. The one you mentioned as the sold account woke up with these three at the same time.
