I also don’t include the bonus as part of my playing capital. But I tend to leave it at the casino if I feel like I’ve played enough. But if I still want to play, I’ll use the bonus right away to play. Some people might also count it as playing money, but I don’t think of it that way. I only count the amount I’ve deposited.
For serious gamblers, this can be important and they may count it. Its like VIP treatment because the reward depends on how much you gamble, but if you are not a regular gambler, then it may not really matter to you. Now, should it be included in the gambler's result? If it becomes real withdrawable profit, then why not. But logically, casinos will not give bonuses that do not benefit them indirectly. So we should still understand that these rewards are designed to encourage more gambling, not simply to give free money.

A quick one. For those who like the idea of tracking their gambling performances, that is their losses and wins. Do you only focus on your losses and wins alone, or do you also track your rakebacks and Bonuses?
For example, your total losses for the month is $1000 and you somehow manage to get $150 back as your rakeback, would your say your total net loss is $850 or would you prefer to set your rakeback aside?
Actually I don't keep separate accounts but I do a summary every week. I allocate a certain amount of budget for gambling. There is a strong effort not to go beyond this and if necessary I reduce the amount of gambling because the chances of losing are much higher than winning. At the end of the week I calculate how much is left from the funds allocated for gambling. If there is a profit, I try to set aside that amount of funds because if you can't enjoy the profit, winning will be useless for you. Withdraw the money you gain from gambling and spend it on your family. I prefer to do this.

So what happens if you get to flick that bonus into something huge, will you also consider it that way? During my university days i was fortunate to see myself do that. In my opinion, I will consider that as capital. Keeping track of your loses and wins will see your organised overtime, you will always want to watch yourself so as not to overspend. Regardless of your loses and gains, it is mandatory I keep tracking how I have splurged in a week or month.
I’ve to understand that gamblers who worry or fear about overspending in gambling are those who either do not have a working budget or set limits when they gamble, or finds it difficult or impossible to stick to their budgets, that’s literally when you’ll fear or question whether you’re actually still within a reasonable budget deficit or you’ve gone or probably going out of line. But for someone who already have a budget, you already know how much is going into gambling every day/week/month/year and thus wouldn’t really have much need to calculate or wonder if you’re still in line.

I am not very conscious about calculating profit or loss in gambling. But I try to be conscious about money allocation. Although it is not easy for me to follow the bankroll for several weeks continuously. Although keeping track of profit or loss is very important for everyone, many gamblers may not do it due to laziness. When I was new to gambling, I used to follow a fixed amount of allocation, but gradually it got out of my control and I am trying to regain discipline. If a fixed amount of money can be allocated for gambling every week and if it is followed properly, it will be easier to maintain control over gambling and the risk of addiction will be reduced to a great range.

Or those who play for fun, i take care not to spend too much because if i exaggerate then the problems are mine, no one will help me. It doesn't just apply to gambling, it applies to anything in life, if you run out of money you're finished, who can help you? Not even the state helps you.

I do not consider Rakeback to be part of the balance I have in gambling activities, even though I have calculated my capital, winnings and losses in gambling activities. My gambling capital is separate, as are the results I get while betting and also the losses I suffer, right? The point is that what I consider a bonus is not recorded in my gambling notebook, I think the Rakeback is a bonus, so it doesn't count. The point is that everyone has different views in calculating their winnings and losses in gambling, including Rakeback, but everything that is calculated and done does not have a negative impact on the gambler himself, for me the calculation of wins and losses is important.

Not everyone has the same perspective on gambling and it never will be. I do not include the loss or gain of money through gambling as part of Rakeback income. The main goal of gambling is to enjoy entertainment, nothing more. I think that if we only focus on profit or loss through gambling, the gambler's financial loss will be greater because when the gambler keeps a profit or loss account, greed or emotion increases relatively, so the gambler's risk of losing money through gambling increases many times over, so the gambler loses self-control and faces financial loss. I gamble only with the money I can lose, so I do not think it is necessary to keep a record of winning or losing through gambling, the main goal of a gambler through gambling should be entertainment.

I never put rakeback into the calculation of capital that has been issued, only monthly bonuses that are often my benchmark for knowing the extent of gambling spending every month. In fact, I very rarely claim a rakeback bonus every time I play, because maybe my gambling volume is not too big so that the rackback is certainly small.

It would be good if everyone was as conscious as you are about not spending too much on gambling. You may have started gambling with a fixed amount of funds but the situation may be such that you are not able to limit yourself to that fixed amount. In this situation, your losses will increase and if this situation continues regularly, you will become destitute for a while. Realizing that if the money available to a gambler is exhausted, it will have a negative impact on him, only if he can maintain gambling discipline will it be possible for him to establish control over himself.

Whenever a person makes a budget and gambles within that budget he never becomes addicted to gambling and he always gambles within the limits of discipline. I prefer to make a weekly budget, like every week I make a budget of $40 or $20 so that I can gamble for the whole month. Sometimes it is seen that many people make a budget on a monthly basis and finish their entire budget within a week or two. So whenever a weekly budget is made if he finishes the entire amount in one go then he has to wait for 6 days and can play again from the next week

They are not lazy, maybe they feel that keeping track of profit and loss is pointless since they are just doing it for fun, moreover they are betting with what they can afford to loss so it doesn't matter. I personally does not like tracking profit and loss, if you ask me how many profit I have made so far in gamble I can't possibly give you the right answer to that question because i can't even remember when last I had wining from gamble. But I agree with you on the fact that tracking profit and loss is important because it can also help you see your gambling performance.
