Hello everyone,
Stablecoins have become one of the most important innovations in the cryptocurrency industry. By combining blockchain technology with price stability, they offer a practical solution for everyday payments and international transfers.
Why are stablecoins growing so fast?
Fast transactions with quick settlement.
Lower fees compared to many traditional payment methods.
24/7 availability without banking hours.
Easy access for users around the world.
Greater efficiency for cross-border payments.
As adoption continues to increase, more businesses and payment providers are integrating stablecoins into their services. They help reduce costs while making global transactions faster and more accessible.
Although regulations are still evolving, stablecoins are already playing a significant role in digital finance and are expected to become even more important in the coming years.
What do you think?
Will stablecoins become the standard for international payments?
Which stablecoin do you trust the most, and why?
I look forward to hearing your opinions and experiences.

Which stablecoin do you trust the most, and why?
The stable coins are backed by fiat. What if they got depegged? There are times that I use the stable coins, but I do not trust anyone among them. There have been some fiat collateralized stable coins that got depegged this year and they will not be the last ones.

Another things is that the stable coins are centralized.

The most common one which is USDT is even having regulatory issues.

Will stablecoins become the standard for international payments?
I receive payments for my services in stablecoins more often, so I believe this method still meets the majority of global needs, displacing fully centralized conventional methods like PayPal, Revolut, and the like.

People rarely hold stablecoins for long periods, so it is not a matter of trusting the stored value; what matters is seamless transactions.

The stable coins are backed by fiat. What if they got depegged? There are times that I use the stable coins, but I do not trust anyone among them. There have been some fiat collateralized stable coins that got depegged this year and they will not be the last ones.
That being said, stablecoins that got routinely audited, passing the legal compliance such as MICA, and lastly backed by real reserve rarely suffer depegging.
Almost all coins that got depegged this year, or even in 2025 are synthetic stablecoin with delta neutral strategy or CDP with thin liquidity.

I'd still trust stablecoin but only to select ones that genuinely backed by real reserve not some random synthethic overcollateralized fugazi. The biggest problem maybe the blacklisting.

To be fair though, some of the best features that stablecoin have such as 24/7 availability, fast transaction, and easy access are inherent to cryptocurrency, that benefit exist because the underlying network where stablecoin runs thanks to the "volatile" cryptocurrency for making it happen.

Will stablecoins become the standard for international payments?
I doubt it, will because stablecoin is issued by private company, only bank issued stablecoin or in otherword CBDC may have the chance, right now stablecoin barely make up 1% of international payment.
