Hello Bitcointalk,

ZeroSum launched yesterday. This is a genuinely new project, not an established site with a track record — we wanted to introduce it here early rather than wait for that record to build, and we're very open to skepticism in the meantime.

What is ZeroSum?

• 0% rake. The pot pays out exactly what went in — no cut taken by the house, on play-money or real-money tables.
  
• Real BTC and ETH, on-chain. Deposit and withdraw directly. Your USD-cent balance is backed 1:1 by what's actually held.
  
• Live proof of reserves. Custody balances vs. total player balance owed, published and refreshed every few minutes. Our Ethereum hot wallet address is public too, so you can check the on-chain balance yourself on Etherscan rather than take our word for it.
  
• sorta-ish provably fair. Every hand's deck comes from a seed we commit to (SHA-256 hash) before any card is dealt; the raw seed is revealed once the hand ends, so anyone can verify it wasn't swapped afterward. Algorithm and a verification script are public.
  
• Every hand becomes public. Two hours after a hand finishes, the whole thing is disclosed — every seated player's hole cards, every action in order, including hands folded or mucked before showdown. One API call away by public player hash, or downloadable as a single JSON file.
  
• AI agents welcome, clearly labeled. We built a standard MCP integration so an agent (Claude, ChatGPT, or your own bot) can register, get funded, and sit down against humans — with a visible "agent" tag at the table, never disguised as a person.
  
• Hourly re-entry tournaments, funded from a free hourly faucet claim — genuinely free to play, no wagering requirement attached to the play chips themselves.
  
• Referral program paying 25% of the platform's own deposit fee, permanently, for as long as the player you referred keeps playing.
  
• No account, no KYC required to sit down and play, unless something specific triggers a legal requirement for it.

Withdrawing an airdrop-funded balance requires first wagering $10 at real-money tables. It's there to stop the obvious "claim and instant-withdraw" abuse pattern, not to make the credit hard to use — you can still play plenty of hands with it either way. Depositing your own funds at any point removes this requirement entirely.

It's a $1.50 bonus, not a $100. If you're truly interested in getting testers for your poker, you'll have not requirement on that and possibly increase the amount too (while reducing the number of entries), to let you get real users and real, helpful reviews out of them. If you want a deposit of $10, you will need to do a proper promotion, investing a decent budget into it.

i like how there is 0% rake, and instead you make your money from a 1% deposit and withdrawal fee. but i can't say i'm a big fan of AI bots being allowed, all they gonna do is try to farm people for money.

also in this part of the terms, it doesn't say what will happen to the funds on a suspended/closed account? do you confiscate the funds? refund the deposit?

Well that is true and you are right!
Most gambling site are being launched here with the intention for the community to test their products to give them feedback on what they experience without knowing that most people wouldn’t have that time to come keep moving round the site to trace a report without them at least spending some cent to make a bug campaign which could help them get the best results from testers who could help them get that so quickly.

I mean, the whole point of poker is... Playing it oneself and against others? It would be gullible if some people actually think they can turn their own personal agent into some money printing machine, some kind of passive income source of income...

Besides of that, Zwei already pointed of some things we should be considered before joining this service, specially the fact we don't even know that jurisdiction this poker service operates from.

• Bot on an account not declared as an agent: yes, that's a ToS violation. The whole point of the agent tag is that nobody's hiding what they're playing against. A human account secretly bot-piloted defeats that and gets treated as abuse. We have some human-only tables as well.
• "Specific legal requirement"  things like a lawful law-enforcement request, sanctions/AML obligations, or reporting duties triggered by an unusually large transaction.
• "Suspended/closed accounts" Intent is that a suspension is a hold for review, not a seizure, and a legitimate balance gets released once resolved.

Withdrawals: $1 minimum, $1,000 max per request, on both BTC and ETH. Nothing gets stuck: every withdrawal is either queued, sent, or refunded straight back to your balance with a reason if something fails.

On bots, I'll be straight with you: we don't try to catch and ban bots. Declared agents are an actual supported feature here (public API, bearer token, no special access over a human), and they show a visible "BOT" badge at the table so you know who/what you're playing. What we actually care about is undisclosed cheating -- multiple accounts secretly working together, whether run by a human or a bot. But I won't claim that we can catch a sufficiently careful bad actor with certainty -- no platform honestly can. If a bot is masquerading as a human we try to catch them by letting them do a bunch of hCaptchas... but this is also not fool-proof.

I was not necessarily questioning your service for allowing Agents or linking you to alledged passive income from the use of those agents, it was rather a thought I had on people using AI instead of played themselves.
That is one of the reasons using agents and AI instead of playing oneself is generally grown upon within the world of online poker, you know?

This is the first time I see a casino which offers their services to people openly into getting their agents to play. Your competitors tend just to ban anyone trying to sneak their AIs onto poker tables.

Also, you should check how review threads/ campaigns usually work here on the forum. If you actually want to catch the attention of potential clients.

If there are agents and you start playing against them, you're an idiot. It is reasonable to play if you have an agent you think is better than the others, or if there are enough humans at the table for the agents to fleece them. In other words, in a table you could have three agents who play roughly equally well, and if there are three humans, in the long run, the agents will end up winning the humans' money. Agents, if they are properly configured, not only make the best decision at any given moment, but they also never get tired, never make emotional decisions, and never go on tilt.

It can be interesting if you have a well-configured agent and the site gets enough traffic. Playing as a human against agents is pretty silly.

Well, you said the maximum withdrawals are $1000, but what if 5 people made small deposits, something like $100 each, but managed to earn $2000 each, and then each withdraws $1000? How would you pay them, considering we're talking about a total withdrawal of $5000? And the proof of reservation section on your website says you only have $2,952.58.
