Not the same, I actually prefer new slots, in my opinion, the chances of getting a high multiplier are better compared to old slots. It is not always the case, but new slots are more enjoyable because of the fresh appearance.

It is the same thing for me, and the reason the slot game has grown on me is because of the luck involved. Your situation is almost identical to mine, my gambling style is also very similar.

I want to try my luck with other providers too but I don't play for long duration, maybe just 50 or 100 spins on providers like BGAMING, Hacksaw and Nolimit. Because I usually play Pragmatic candy themed slots, probably cause I enjoy playing candy crush so the candy theme really suits me.

If someone is attracted to low-skill, repetitive and mentally unchallenged kind of content then there are only 2 factual possibilities here:
1) Either this is the kind of entertainment that fits their personality, many people do not like any kind of challenges -- probably the majority of the humans for better or worse. In this point we would include habits, preferences and everything else but sometimes they are seen as separate explanations when they are directly tired to your personality in some way so that does not make sense. There is a reason why many people do not look for challenge and complexity when it comes to entertainment, and it sure as shit is not because they are the next Newton of our time. However, if you confront people or AI about this they will justify and defend people -- just face it instead. Comfort is usually a coping mechanism, simulation is for achievers and a repetitive environment (without issues relating to personality or addiction) is not that simulating.

2) The person is half or fully addicted. Most people are not able to tell whether something is controlling them or they are making the choices. Again, I bring up the confronting them -- if you confront them they will always say it is their own choice because they are useless cowards. A reasonable or brave person will admit an addiction in the earliest stages as it is a result of their own failure and their own responsibility, even if they can't or won't stop it at this time. I think you are from Indonesia if you look at the type of game that is done although it does not mean this generalizes but most gambling players who focus on slots in Indonesia are always in this type of Game.

I am also sometimes in these games mainly for mahjong but lately I love Duck Hunters and it becomes my top choice if I play slots.

I like to explore and I notice that those slots for promotional purposes sometimes carry some lucky wins.
