So, who's George Timms, and why does google suggest he's the one going by the pseudonym "doc-hex"?  I mean, not that I trust google for shit, but I'm having trouble following the clues you've posted.

Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I feel like Coinkite's management were in on the whole thing.  I just can't see how they weren't.  There's negligence and then there's willful negligence.  When working on firmware for a bitcoin wallet that requires an RNG for security, do you just forget to initiate the part of the firmware that calls on the RNG?  That seems like a bit of a stretch.

The hackers knew the RNG code was broken.  This didn't happen over night.  There was knowledge, planning, compiling potential seeds, testing said seeds for funds, and the strike happened all at once.

I have no idea.  The name doesnt sound familiar, and I dont believe I came across it during my research on Coinkite.

Search algorithms are dumb.  Smiley  That said, I wasnt able to replicate the search results you mentioned.  Not even with AI.

Here is a summary timeline of the entire "Coldcard Heist" that might help:

...

It is also worth noting that the "ripeapps.com" domain is also hosted via the EasyDNS - the exact same niche registrar tied to both "conalgo.com" and "switck.com".

...

EasyDNS has been in business for close to 30 years at this point and ICANN accredited for close to 20. Might be a niche registrar in the grand scheme of things but they are a major player in Canada where Coinkite is based. As someone who is in the IT field and deals with Canadian businesses; seeing domains for people who live there and work there is actually common.

Now back to the regularly scheduled bashing of NvK, doc-hex, and others.
