That's my point. I'm not saying that this, in itself, proves anything. I just find it difficult to ignore this difference in attitude. If I were to read your posts today without ever having seen your history, I would find it hard to believe that you are practically a newbie here (at least, that was the impression you gave less than a month ago).
Fair enough, and I appreciate you clarifying your stance in a calm manner.
To give you an honest answer: when I returned to the forum, my intention was simply to participate normally and learn the basics like merits and signatures. But when you get targeted with neutral/negative tags and face heavy accusations right out of the gate, you don't have the luxury of taking months to figure things out. Necessity forces you to read Meta topics, understand how DT works, and learn how to defend yourself very quickly.
If you review the thread, you will notice the word "tag" coming up repeatedly. I am not blind; I can see everything on my profile, including the neutral tag you left on my account. In my view, that tag was also a misuse of power simply because I was speaking the truth. If you check the second thread I created, I laid out the entire situation in detail showing how nutildah’s ego was bruised.
That shift in tone wasn't planned—it was pure survival mode after being backed into a corner. I'm not trying to play a veteran; I'm just defending my account against what I genuinely believe is an unfair situation.
To me the use of trust is appropriate, and the evidence is actual, but you know, I could be living in a bubble, in which case someone should pop it for me, in the interest of being fair to our "new" friend.
You don’t need anyone to pop your bubble—you’ve already proven you live in one by asking your own DT circle to validate your power trip.
When you weaponize negative tags over a hurt ego instead of actual proof, no amount of seeking approval from your echo chamber changes the fact that it's a blatant abuse of power. Keep hiding behind your DT status; everyone watching outside your little circle sees it for exactly what it is.
