BitMart Exchange scammed all users

They've closed withdrawals, but spot and futures are still open. Does anyone have any ideas on how to withdraw funds? I've heard that many people previously bought a coin with low liquidity on one exchange and then sold it on another at the same time and withdrew at least part of their funds, basically manipulating the price. Or does anyone have other ideas?

• Jul 26, 2026, 01:30 UTC: New registrations, deposits, and new trading orders will begin to be suspended.
• Aug 26, 2026, 01:00 UTC: All trading services will be discontinued.

Withdrawal services will remain available. We strongly encourage all users to close positions, complete KYC (if needed), and withdraw assets as early as possible.

I don't have an account to confirm  but this is what they said on their announcement.

If they stopped withdrawals (for everyone) then there is sadly nothing you can do. If you cannot withdraw anything, there is no point in trading whatever you have to something else, because you won't be able to withdraw that either.

Sorry, no way you can withdraw your coins on the exchange except the exchange give you the privilege. Not your keys not your coins.

I have bad experience about the exchange in the past and that was the last time I used it. Luckily I also had bad experience on BitMex also which made me not to use the exchange again.

They wrote that they were withdrawing funds a week ago, if not more, but there haven't been any withdrawals. They also set limits 100-500 times lower, but you still can't withdraw even $1.

This is the same in Bitmex. I received an email, and it seems both are very similar, and I think they have announced it well to their members, so I don't think it's a scam. That's just what happens when you rely on exchanges. You have no control, but at least you get to withdraw it.

Please show evidence that you can't withdraw.

On July 26, it was announced that there are several points all BitMart members should be aware of regarding the decision to close the exchange.
All transactions—including spot trading, copy trading, and futures—have been canceled. The deadline for withdrawals has been set for August 26. Platform operations will officially cease on January 31.
I do not have access to BitMart, so I cannot confirm whether withdrawals are still possible; however, based on what they stated via their X account, the withdrawal deadline is August 26.

While it is  looking  like a possible scam exit, we can't conclude it's  a scam until the grace for withdrawal completely  runs out without processing the withdrawals and I believe that should be next year.

Personally, I will wil call it a scam already, because  I see no reason to why they haven't address their users on pending withdrawal and the fact that they sent zero mails to their customers looks fishy.

OP you have no choice than to stay patient,  no one can help your other than Bitmart. Find other affected users and stay connected with them.

It may be a bit early to call them scammers, but there are definitely issues with withdrawals.
I just visited their official Telegram group, and many people were complaining about withdrawals not being processed and their support being unresponsive.

This is really sad to see, I was reading some messages from the Telegram link you provided and this person has already filed the report to the authorities and I recommend everyone to do the same. I had no funds on both exchanges, don't know if BitMEX has also done it or not, but you should report BitMart at least

When I heard the news of their shutdown, I had this little doubt that they might do something like this, but I thought if they wanted to then why would they announce their closure? They could do it anyway, but now I think they are trying to suppress the matter by being good in front of the internet, and behind the scenes they have halted and so far I have not read a single article published by those so-called media out there, like Cointelegraph or CoinDesk. Maybe they are working on writing one, but by the time they will, or authorities will take action, these people could run away.

Nobody is questioning your informations here, it is true that withdrawals are not being processed because I know someone who has a few bucks in the exchange and he's been on and off on the issue. While it's not yet clear if they will completely approve every withdrawal, you need to be hopeful and patient, withdrawals will be approved before they shutdown completely.

These are your emotions, you are scared if you won't be getting your money back, and we understand.

The withdrawals are not disabled, they are just either rejecting them or leaving them pending. As for their withdrawal deadline, it's ridiculous that they only gave their users a 1 month time frame for it.

For anyone curious, this is what they said if there are users who didn't complete their withdrawal within the recommended timeframe.

Absolutely no one can withdraw anything almost 10 days. But they pretend they've given everyone time to withdraw. Everyone needs to know this. US users were told YESTERDAY that their withdrawals would be made by August 8th, even though no one is withdrawing anything anyway.

Their support system sucks; they barely reply, and even when they do, it’s with something that can aid your withdrawal process. I have a friend whose fund is stocked in there; we have been trying to get it out, both email and live support. None of them are helping out at all. With all this delay, I wonder how many people's funds will get buried when they finally close down their service.

Their social media has been blank since they posted to be winding down operations. That's a huge red flag for an exchange at such a critical time for users when communication is important to relax those that had been using them. This also points heavily to them wanting to screw some of their users over deliberately.

If you're affected, you can only hope something changes and use this as a lesson to not store your funds in an exchange.
