What is the deadline?
I'm leaning toward joining the tournament, as it seems there won't be as many pools as usual this season. If this were my 9th or 10th pool, I'd definitely decline. Sometimes, in the middle of the season, even simple predictions in SuperBru can be exhausting.
Wish: I would like to be in charge of betting, it's time to fight for the Golden Ball 
But it's worth remembering that the risks of my internet access have not disappeared, so you'll need to have a backup plan just in case.

We will also make some kind of overview of free agents, people that stated the intention to play but don't have a team. But we would prefer if you all would form the teams on your own. Maybe when stating your intent you can share broad location or favorite clubs like some did. That way you can connect on some base and have an inkling on the team name as well.

Please put my name in It seemed easier to get teammates last season because of geography but now I think is free for all. I am from Singapore,,, I do not mind any kind of team as long as everybody is chilled out and not so serious (as in this is just a game let us just have fun no scolding and all that) and takes responsibility for themselves  

I believe @BABY SHOES is willing to form a team together if you need 2 guys. Our previous winning member seeks new challenges and we wish him well!

We still have a lot of time, deadline hasn't been posted officially yet but lets say 10 days before first CL game starts so we have some time to force the teams with the people that have been left team-less. Idea is you all agree among yourselves, everyone submits official team application and pays the fee before that. Than we use those 10 days to get the team numbers to something that works well with the format.

Should be easiest to get team members anyone prefers earlier, later on, many of the usual culprits will already be in teams.

Why do you think betting is your chance for golden ball? I think it is the hardest task to win golden ball. You need to hit your ticket in order to even have a chance at it, and then you have to still beat your opponent. Other two modes give you that chance from get go.

Since its no geography restrictions now I don't mind playing new people in different regions, I'm in Asia but we can make the time difference work

Let's do it. I'm not that picky when it comes to teammates and Asia time works well for both of us. It'll be tough to beat what your previous team reached in the WC, but i'll do my best to score some goals.

I hope that people won't be afraid of applying for it after seeing our team. In the end there is a great prize given for the 2nd team as well.  

I'm not deterred at all, thanks to the previous RTG, we now have the information to prepare for your team.

But a point is awarded if you actually outscore your opponent, right? I think the other two disciplines are more random and there's a higher chance of a draw, so scoring a point is quite difficult. In the betting section, you only need to win a bet, and with the best odds (in reality, the latter will rarely be required, as many opponents' bets are lost). I could be wrong, I haven't looked at the statistics of those who were at the top of RTG, but I think with the right preparation I will have every chance.

No point to look at stats on sample size this small. It is nowhere close to what actual numbers would be after million iterations. Statistics on small sample sizes are almost always taken over by anomalies. For instance I had very good WC, if that was the norm, I would be much richer than I am

We were waiting for the worst team of the tournament to register. So we can officially apply for it now.

Definitely. I actually tried it out but it didn’t work out for me when I had the opportunity to win the Golden Ball and that was how I ended up missing the chance in the World Cup RTG.

I thought betting would give me an easy pass if I picked my bets carefully but I got humbled  . France of all teams couldn’t even score a goal against Spain which was surprising. I actually thought that was the safest option but that’s the thing with betting it can be very unpredictable. I would have won the prize if I had submitted for goal scorer or questionaire category in the Semi final.
