If Bitcoin was centralized, it would make logical sense to have him back as an expert for any technical support and what not.. but fortunately for us Bitcoin was built on a decentralized platform which turns out to be it's strength as it can't be shutdown by any overzealous person or forked by a single Dev without consensus.

Besides, Satoshi identity reveal would be bad for Bitcoin in many ways..for example users would want new projects to be associated with his name and money would easily flow out of BTC to that new endorsed project, privacy for the man/family would be thrown out of the window etcetera... Honestly it's better we continue without him and keep getting entertained by the likes of Craig Wright  Grin

The community will not wait for a new project from Satoshi Nakamoto but definitely want to listen to Satoshi's opinion to lead the Bitcoin project further. It's like Ethereum community always look at Vitalik Buterin for any development vision of ETH project.
Satoshi’s Identity Won’t Be Revealed and That’s a Good Thing.

Craig Wright after failure in a COPA lawsuit was no longer able to make fake claims that he is Satoshi Nakamto. Wrights made many wrongs that don't make him a Satoshi Nakamoto.

How Many Wrongs Make a Wright?

There are three other famous people with rumors from community as the Bitcoin founders.
Hal Finney was not Satoshi Nakamoto.
Jack Dorsey is not Satoshi Nakamoto.

To me the identity of Satoshi has always been anonymous right from the onset and that has not impacted bitcoin in anyway, ever since the inception of Bitcoin he has held 1m BTC and that supply has not been tampered with, so saying that the crypto community should know the identity of Satoshi isn’t really relevant because if we become aware of who Satoshi is i feel it puts that 1m BTC supply at risk, secondly if Satoshi becomes known he would likely be forced to be a KOL in the community which i feel might lead to more market volatility and uncertainty.

Thoughts on this. In order to have Bitcoin achieve better credibility to be used more mainstream as a world money system,
Do you think it is important to find the final answer on who Satoshi is actually or was?
Would this bring more confidence to majority of the population in order to want to use BTC as the mainstream money system?

Do you think if we find out the identity of Satoshi that it would increase value? or would it decrease?

why or why not?
Satoshi's gone, he does not have influence on bitcoin anymore so finding him will not affect the price. Bitcoin could be worth more if Satoshi’s hyped up all over the news and people are chatting about him being found. but it must fade. The price will plummet after people get tired of the Satoshi exposure stories. Bitcoin’s better without Satoshi being found and getting involved.

The identity of Satoshi Nakamoto has been unknown and the Bitcoin founder always used Tor. You can read the post of theymos.
Though he always used Tor, as far as I can tell.

His careful developments and anonymous identity as well as online activities actually have great impacts on Bitcoin project because all these anonymous activities help Bitcoin to start as a decentralized project and has solid foundation to maintain it over time especially after the founder disappearance many years ago.

ever since the inception of Bitcoin he has held 1m BTC token
Stop posting shit like this because you even failed to differentiate between coin and token.
Definition of tokens.
