b1ackexchange: A Warning to the Community

For a time, b1ackexchange was a go-to solution for many looking to swap assets without KYC. However, recent trends have transformed the service from a reliable tool into a major liability. If you are still using the platform, it is time to reconsider your risk exposure.

The Signs of an Exit Scam

The most concerning development is the noticeable decline in performance. Users are reporting that swaps, once prompt, now take hours to complete. In the world of non-custodial and privacy-focused exchanges, these "bottlenecks" are often the first sign of an exit scam. By intentionally slowing down processing times, an exchange can hold user funds longer, building a larger liquidity pool before a potential disappearance.
Fabricated Volume and Poor Liquidity

It has become increasingly apparent that the volume displayed on the site is likely artificial. The platform appears to lack the necessary native liquidity to support its claims, leading to the long wait times users are experiencing. When an exchange cannot process transactions in real-time, it usually means they are waiting for other trades to execute elsewhere to fill your order essentially acting as a middleman rather than a functional exchange.
Administrative Silence and Neglect

A functional service requires active management, yet b1ackexchange has entered a period of administrative ghosting.

Slow Support: The admin is increasingly unresponsive. Tickets are being deleted rather than addressed, and public inquiries regarding the platform's status are ignored.
Leadership Vacuum: Following the departure of key staff, the project owner has failed to provide any roadmap, transparency, or reassurances. This silence is not just unprofessional; it is a red flag.

A Note on "Small Swaps"

We are not discussing minor inconveniences with small-amount trades here. While some may argue that the platform "still works" for small volumes, this misses the point of risk management. A platform that is technically operational but fundamentally broken in terms of liquidity and support is a platform that can freeze your assets without notice. Whether you are swapping 50or50or5,000, you are trusting a faceless entity that has demonstrated a lack of commitment to its users.
Conclusion: Avoid and Move On

The combination of artificial volume, deteriorating swap speeds, and a complete lack of administrative accountability suggests that b1ackexchange is no longer a safe harbor for your funds.
Our recommendation is simple: Stop using b1ackexchange immediately.
In this ecosystem, liquidity, transparency, and reputation are everything. When a service stops communicating and starts delaying user funds, it is best to assume the worst. There are other, more transparent alternatives available do not wait until your funds are stuck in a pending queue to realize it’s too late.

And the 5LTC minimum are red flags for exit scam - having the user accustomed to the wait allows the exchange to build a larger and larger liquidity pool. Also, /d/b1ackExchange mod /u/heinous leaving Dread without announcement or being replaced hasn't be exactly reassuring on the project continuation.

/u/Heinous no reply for 3 months.
/u/b1ack no reply since February 9th.

These are all your words, with no evidence. How can anyone verify that this is actually what is happening in this exchange. This is also the scam accusation section, and you do not have any valid accusation against this platform, just your assumption that they are showing signs of an exit scam, and i don't think anybody would take any action based on what you say.

Which public inquiries are being ignored? I took a quick look at their ANN thread and I don't see any scam accusation. Nor in the Scam Accusations board.

As an advertiser of this platform I am very interested in knowing if it ever turns in to an exit scam.  I check their Service Discussion Topic almost every day, and the Reputation, Investigations and Scam Accusations parts of the Forum too.  But I do not think there is any public information to prove pretty much any of the things you said.  Unless you have that, which I suppose you should publish if you want any credibility at all.

I read the first few lines of the post, and it immediately hit me that he just copied what an AI chatbot had written to him, and what is even more absurd is that he provided no proof to back up his accusations.

I don't remember the thread, but I think another person tried to create a scam accusation specifically towards b1ack or something like that. Not really sure about the motive at this point, but it's most like not genuine.

If speed were the only weakness that remained, people would only use it once and it wouldn't be a big business. According to users on several review sites, there are indeed competitors who offer faster processing times, but I don't think that b1exchange is currently losing its regular customers. Processing time is not always a priority for people.  But, I personally will not ignore what is happening with the teams out there regarding their absence.
