It depends what kind of work do you have because not all work can steal by the AI and for sure the management will be weigh in if there a possible earnings or an expenses depends with the system of AI, if the company sees that the use of the AI makes them less expenses and even have save more than money possible they will do this but still they need to have human to operate and maintain this system. Base on my experience its hard to develop a system before without the help of the AI you need to seek a thread in stackoverflow just the same problem with you but now once prompt with the AI they can now give a recommendation and solution with your problem so also they can help you to make an automation with your work load a work can be done at 5 hours can be now query in just a single hour imagine the efficiency it gives. So now it depends on you how it will affect you with the use of AI

AI will make some jobs completely unnecessary. But does that mean the same as stealing? Throughout of all human history, we have been making our lives better through technology and that has meant that some jobs that used to be done by humans could now be done by machines. We no longer have to plow the fields ourselves because we can use machines. Does that mean the farmer loses his job? No. He now has more time to do something else for the farm. This is my opinion on the matter. This is not really true, and opinions are not needed. We have science to answer questions like this and we know from past cases what happens when there is strong job displacement like this. Why would there be room for small farmers if big corporations can automate away the whole process with robots? They will suppress the price long enough to bankrupt most farmers, and this will leave just a small number that are able to avoid this. This has already happened with big corporations, but also the number of farmers is very low compared to how large the work force is. They represent a small amount of the people who are actually working right now, so the massive displacement will happen in other sectors and there will be a lot of chaos because of that. There are companies that shifted from manual labor to AI automation. While many of them have been successful into that transition. Some of these companies have the problem about how expensive it is and the subscription they're paying is more than the salary that they have contracted for an employee and have got some other concerns that only humans can do.. --> Companies Fired Workers For AI. Now They Want Them BackThis is a manipulative piece of news that does not represent the reality, they are trying to confront you so you think this happens usually which is not the case. Some companies will make mistakes because of bad management and things like that, but that does not reflect the reality of the transition. When it is done correctly and where appropriate, then normally an employee is replaced by an AI at less than 10% of the cost. I think that the ai bubble is about to burst. But as an individual trying to embrace new technology, we should learn and adapt it as an additional upskill. Because what these companies are going to learn is that it should be human + ai for productivity's sake.
People have been saying it for months or years and there is still no sign of a slowdown, so you are wrong. The bubble will burst eventually, but to say that it is just about to happen which is not based on really data is just wrong.

Here's the truth nobody is saying loudly enough; AI is not the competition, it is the advantage. ~snip~
The real question is; Am I willing to learn the tool for my advantage in my required field?
It is but doesn't mean it will remove the potential threat to take someone jobs, we already saw massive layoff due to AI existance. Many jobs that in the past exist but right now it's not exist anymore or hard to find because of the technology keep growing. 6 years ago, I was still buying newspaper from an old man on the road side but he once tell me that the revenue from selling newspaper not like what he can get in the past and right now I never see him again, it's the prove that the tech already taken his position where we can read news easily through the phone. I believe AI will do the same but there are lots of advantage we can take from it and depends on us how we face it either we will adapt to it or we will left behind the changing times. The real question is; Am I willing to learn the tool for my advantage in my required field?
Right now I'm not using AI cause my job doesn't need to use it but engineer in my workplace probably use it to help them analyse some data.

AI is stealing some jobs presently and in the future I believe that it will steal some more especially in the areas of consultants, AI can be your consultant and you can be in your house and discuss with AI which will give you faster solutions than most human consultants. Business owners would prefer to rely on AI to get tasks done accurately and the AI will not complain of overwork or ask salary or a raise in salary, if I have a company and I'm to choose between a human employee and AI if AI can get the job done I wouldn't hire a human. I know that humans will survive even if AI robots are doing most of the job in the labor market but people who are not productive to do whatever it is that AI cannot do will likely remain poor.

I don't think AI is the problem, although it's definitely going to make some people lose their jobs, but it's alo going to help other people get new jobs. So I think one thing we need to under is that the world is evolving and wil have to adapt with it. We have to be able to unlearn and re learn new things that is needed to survive in today's world. AI is definitely improving the lives of a lot of people, because they learn to adapt and use it to their advantage and with the willingness to learn learn new thing, they are really doing better. Most people that complain about AI being the enemy are those that refuse to evolve with the world.

But that aside, there are a handful of AI tools that can be used without subscription like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and so on. These tools renders both the free and paid subscription which provides more services but that is optional.
All the AI tools I've seen were offering some free tier subscription where you could test their services with different limitations depending on the company that was offering it. That's part of their advertising campaign, that way they get you "hooked up" on something that's new and create the "need" in you to go and buy their paid subscription. Some of them have already started adding restrictions, for example I recently noticed ChatGPT is starting to complain after a couple of messages saying it has lower memory or whatever and paid services is the solution or Claude simply stopped working after a single message when I asked it to review a C# class for me and said to come back after 24 hours since my free thing ran out

When it is done correctly and where appropriate, then normally an employee is replaced by an AI at less than 10% of the cost. I think there's part truth to that because of how several companies that I've seen that they're actually rehiring and making their former employees back again due to the subscription basis of the ai tools that they're using. Or more likely they're still at the testing phase of which is more costly and which one they can save more and be more productive. I think that the ai bubble is about to burst. But as an individual trying to embrace new technology, we should learn and adapt it as an additional upskill. In terms of the ai valuation and its total market cap, one of it OpenAI has been valued so much and yet despite that they are earning $2B/month still it's said that they're unprofitable. I guess that it's only a matter of time when they do.

Whether AI is going to steal jobs or not, we can say one thing for certain and that is the fact that in this monopoly the handful of companies who have been advertising their AI services through various means, plan to sell those services to the most number of customers and make a ton of money by milking them.
So the real question apart from the two contradicting ones you raised is "Am I willing to pay for the subscription to be able to access what they created and said 'you need this'".
Thank you, it's too obvious how many AI start-ups are offering the same thing to people, selling the same damn thing with different names and designs, it's getting too much. There are too many projects offering AI data, servers and many others, and the numbers keep growing everyday, AI is really useful but them this habit, this can cause some massive bubble some day. My home boy telling me yesterday that he would rather use AI to steal from people than having to work hard for his rest of his life with little to not so great rewards, people are even wishing to use AI for bad than good.

Take a deep breath. The robots are not forming a union against you. But someone using AI well, they might quietly take the opportunities you keep postponing.
Here's the truth nobody is saying loudly enough; AI is not the competition, it is the advantage.
The people getting ahead right now are not smarter, more talented, or more gifted. They have learned to work with the machine instead of treating AI like a villain in a science-fiction movie. The writers using AI to brainstorm faster are not lazy, they are publishing while others are waiting for the perfect opportunity. The small business owners using AI for customer replies is not cutting corners, they are buying back hours to actually grow the business. The students using AI to study smarter are not cheating, they are preparing for a world that has already changed while some people are debating whether AI is a passing trend in 2026.
The tool does not replace skill, it amplifies skill.
If you are good, AI helps you become faster, if you are excellent, AI helps you become dangerous. And I'd you refuse to learn it, well, at least your excuses will remain 100% human.
So the real question is not; will AI take my job?
The real question is; Am I willing to learn the tool for my advantage in my required field?
But before writing this statement did you spend some time doing research? Because if you do a research you will find this massive layoffs happening. https://axis-intelligence.com/ai-replacing-jobs-statisticshttps://axis-intelligence.com/ai-job-displacement-statisticshttps://www.clankers.today/AI-Displacement-2026-Report.pdfYeah that tool is indeed helpful, but I think this is needed to be regulated since human workforce will get affected by this matter. If government will not do any action about this for sure that more companies will rely to use AI robots or any Ai Related services and more people will get affected with this innovation in future.

--- So the real question is not; will AI take my job?
The real question is; Am I willing to learn the tool for my advantage in my required field?
It depends on which field you are right now. It might or it might not. Based on this article ( LINK), there are some jobs that will get affected, and majority of them are those jobs that involves: -Highly repetitive workflows -Standardised rule-based decision-making -Predictable physical movement -Low contextual or interpersonal demand -Roles become resilient when they involve: On the flip side, there are jobs that are considered "resilient" therefore it can't be replaced by AI. These jobs are those that involves: -Empathy, mentorship and relationship building -Creativity, originality and conceptual thinking -High-stakes or ethical judgement -Adaptability to unpredictable environments Also, based on that article, these are the jobs that might get affected by AI: -Repetitive desk jobs: data entry, payroll processing, clerical support, compliance checks -Script-based customer service: telecallers, chat support, retail cashiers -Routine operational roles: assembly-line workers, packagers, inventory checkers Those jobs that are considered "repetitive-rule based" are the ones that might get affected. Those entry-level jobs are the ones that might get affected. Those jobs that has data-heavy tasks are the ones that might get affected. We've seen layoffs from different tech companies these past few years, and as AI becomes better and better, the layoffs will be more rampant therefore, more people will lose their jobs. Those who will not adapt and will not use AI might end up struggling to find a stable income source, and vice-versa. There will still be jobs though that can't be replaced by AI, and those ones are the ones that require human strength and physical appearance. More like those plumbers, electricians and the like.

It is definitely helping people make their own jobs as well. A lot of people are making apps, some are making games, some are making websites, some are making SAAS stuff; basically, there are so many people building their own business with this. Obviously not everyone will be able to actually make a profit out of this; not everyone will be doing great, some people will be making money while others are going to fail making any money from it. I personally used it; I even got the pro version and paid 20 bucks to chatgpt couple of months to make something, but I lack the most important part: marketing. Without marketing, you can build anything you want, and you will not make any money, which is why I stopped using it. But if you can use it to build a good business and can also do marketing for it, then I would highly suggest doing that too. So I agree, many people will be left without a job because of it, but there will also be a lot of people who will make a lot of money with it as well.

And it was free, and since then I've become very used to this particular AI. And I also started to recommend it to everyone. But I want to say that over time, I got the feeling that the free version doesn't understand the questions I ask him very deeply, and it's possible that this is due precisely to the fact that the version is free. I think that in any case, all AI manufacturers will come to the point where they will start, like a grok, stuffing advertising into their product or somehow forcing them to switch to a paid subscription. After all, the “free period" is not endless, and users must pay for the AI company's expenses. And the general trend of reducing free use will occur in absolutely all models, like the United States and China, despite the fact that they use different methods and approaches. After all, the rules of business payback are the same for everyone.

Perhaps... Perhaps you are right. But we will not know for sure since we are dealing with a new paradigm of human advancement. Is AI going to be a cognitive crutch? Will that crutch evolve humanity into something less intelligent because we no longer require so much brainpower if AI does all the thinking for us? I think that is by far the most dangerous path that AI is leading us unto.

I agree with you and I also believe that AI is one of the opportunities for improving the quality of life of people. But the way robots (this technology) are currently being used in various jobs, especially in risky jobs where people face many problems while working, those jobs are being done very easily by AI. That is why many have started thinking that there will come a time when people will lose their jobs. Yes, I also think that many people will lose their jobs but for those who can develop their skills in line with the modern world, there is immense potential ahead where they can perform much better than at present and more jobs will be created.

Your sentiment or idea about this is very much valid, because even though their is no AI in today's world, those that stays relevant in business or in whatsoever craft they are into must evolve with time, if not you are going to lose your customers or your job to those that have evolved along with life. AI is not meant to take our job, but rather it is meant to make things easier. It's only those that are less efficient and effective that will be troubled about AI taking their job, because they are still backward in ideas and way of doing things.

So far like every other technology revolution, I believe Al is not any different, as much as it might have come to stay, all it can do is to make it simple for humanity but not replace humans. In diverse ways, Al has made life faster and better but didn't replace humans. I guess the same thinking happened when mobile phone came onboard and other technologies that was perceived as threat to humanity or other existing conditions but they were never threat but a gateway for more opportunities and solutions to be offered. AI will only do as much as it can do but cannot replace humans.

That's spot on. AI is here to help those who are willing to take it's help. It's more like a catalyst. AI won't take a person's job directly because there is someone who is managing that AI agent. So one has to upgrade their skills and embrace AI so that they can leverage it in their field. If someone is not willing to upgrade their skills then surely their job will be at risk because we need to constantly evolve. Nobody likes the same old thing and wants to explore new things every now and then.

Your points are versed and I think some of your points are valid as such, at least you did acknowledge the fact that Ai is gonna make some people lose their job which is even why most persons are afraid of Ai in the first place, have you thought of someone that offered you a job to run some tasks for him, all of a sudden the person relieved you of your service just because he had a cheap labour from the machine which is Ai, despite how good Ai is, the obvious has to be stated which you did, of course adaption is necessary, but the consequences should not be left behind, people will definitely learn the AI skills, but how many do you think that can be employed since Ai can perform bulky task as fast as possible, even though it is a technology that we have to learn to fit into this digitalized world.

Well, there are some truths to this. I've heard of companies laying off workers, replacing them with AIs and later it turned out to be a very big mistake. AI is just a tool, it certainly can replace some jobs, but it won't be as efficient and organic as it should be (it could be in some areas). Whatever job AI replaces is not something that needs a real professional. Yes, you can create an AI or a robot for specific jobs, but it won't have flexibility and that human interaction needed.

Learning about the use of AI gave people advantage. AI may not take the jobs of the people directly, but definitely it is going to change the number and the type of the opportunities available. It is not going to replace every single worker, but yes, companies are using it to make their task more automated and compared to the task which were performed by humans previously.
That can reduce need for the certain position. Similarly at same time, it is also creating new roles and making existing worker more productive and to learn about technology. It is not about choosing between human beings and artificial intelligence, it is about the adapting to a workplace where some skills are less valuable while others become more important. It overall impact depends on how the businesses are going to use it and how the workers who work with them are going to adapt themselves and learn about it.
