Saw this news of a user that lost his funds on trezor after clicking on some phishing website on google sponsored ads. The user said lost their fund after clicking on a sponsored google search result that was impersonating trezor.
The phishing page was hosted on the google site, which tricked victims to enter their wallets recovery seed. How dumb will people be to enter their seed to a website?? Well, that’s what the victim must have done.
Though trezor says it’s escalating the report, and working to have the site removed, also reminds users to never enter wallets recovery seed to any website, or online form.
This is just a reminder and a warning to those that are new to wallet protection and security to be careful with clicking on ads online.

This is supposed be basic knowledge for someone who holds bitcoin, why should you put your seed phrase on a website, what was his goal? Sorry for his loss. This is another reminder of how careful we need to be when dealing with things online especially with the phone we are using to hold bitcoin.
Investors should never relax on protective measures to secure their bitcoin, it should be a daily practice, something that’s always on our mind cause one moment of lapse can cause us harm.
