where are the free AirDrop of BIP110 Blake Bitcoins then If you had any BTCs before the block 961,632, then you have the same amount of Bitcoin Blake, Bitcoin Purity, Paul Sztorc's eCash, and who knows how many future altcoins. Also, even if you used BTC after the fork, then there is still a chance, that some services like exchanges, just used BTC in the same way, without changing anything, so many transactions can be replayed, if they never touched newly minted coins. And when it comes to splitting coins, then I wrote about it already, and linked to that multiple times: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5590674.msg67025339#msg67025339Also, as time passes, and more and more users will want to have replay protection, altcoin creators will probably provide it in that way or another (for example, BIP-110 introduced SIGHASH_UNIFIED). And even if they don't, then still: it will gradually happen anyway, because the coins will be splitted by coinbase transactions, and any coins, touched by miners, spending newly minted coins, will be also splitted correctly.

bitcoin purity forked from BCH not BTC so you would need to have BCH to get bitcoin purity No, that's incorrect. It forked at height 961637. AFAIK the few (I think 2) blocks mined by the BIP110 folks are also included in the Purity chain. eCash has not yet forked has it? I thought it was in October?
eCash has not forked. It will fork "around block 973728" according to this article.Correction: While it will start in October, the snapshot seems to be block 963,648. So it "has already forked". eCash looks technically way more interesting but at the other hand has a "premine" because some of Satoshi's coins are planned to be "reallocated". I think this will be a major problem of this chain. It has nothing to do with the BIP-110 fork imo.

Guys, we are witnessing history.
The Blake Bitcoin will become the real Bitcoin and the Sha-256 Bitcoin will die in the long run.
For now, all we can do is to wait till more official or open source wallets give an easier way of handling Bitcoin Blake.
This isn't like all the failures of previous hard forks because there isn't someone with all the power behind the new fork, there isn't an airdrop, and the rules of Bitcoin Blake are pretty much the same as Bitcoin Sha-256.

I thought the 2017 shitfork mania was over. Glad it is starting again to give us more airdrops and help bitcoiners increase their wealth Lukecoin or BLuke will face the same fate as all the previous shitforks that came before it. They make some noise for a little while before they become a footnote in history.

Moreover, there are many shit forks from altcoins like forks from Ethereum, and more, that are all valuable lessons for people about risk of forks. In the market, there are always newbies but with time and lessons from abundant forks and their failures in the past, it's less likely even newbies in the market will fall to such scam again.

Hello,
I was tomorrow Saturday the bitcoin chain will split because the miners will not signal for the BIP-110 soft fork. BIP-110 users saying if miners don't support them then they are gonna brick their mining rigs and make bitcoin into POS Proof of Stake not POW Proof of Work.
This is not a real Bitcoin hard for which would imply an update to the Bitcoin chain, this is a shitcoin that is forking away from the Bitcoin chain and it is run by shitcoin people. It does not have any real support among miners, users, the businesses and so on so why are you trying to make this as something more than it is? Just forget about it, it is not relevant to Bitcoin. Anyone can abuse Bitcoin's name and create their own shitcoin, we can't stop them from doing that. It's truly over because with hundreds of Bitcoin forks which have failed so far, even Bitcoin Cash, many people have already realized how useless Bitcoin forks are. Moreover, there are many shit forks from altcoins like forks from Ethereum, and more, that are all valuable lessons for people about risk of forks.
Yes, users who do not understand this have not understood the lessons of the forks or how Bitcoin works. The challenge and risk that comes from controversial forks of this kind is gone, the quest has been accomplished and this kind of attack on Bitcoin is never going to work again. It is a waste of time to even try it. Basically we can conclude that anyone who tries to fork Bitcoin in this way means to inflict Bitcoin harm even if they claim that they are doing it for all the best possible reasons. Users need to stop trusting people which are like that. Think of how many people lost money on Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV.. The Blake Bitcoin will become the real Bitcoin and the Sha-256 Bitcoin will die in the long run.
It is a shitcoin that can never become Bitcoin, don't write these lies here.

Did you read what you wrote carefully? Do you really believe that, or are you just mocking? How did an unregulated network change its mining protocol in order to mine blocks despite the high difficulty and low hash rate? I believe you're just joking.

these are 2 completely different chains. like any other fork, I would not try any effort to exchange (fees/taxes would take a large amount and time isn't worth...) Forked coins could be always ready to use. you can move your bitcoin and this should be available on the forked-new chain. like any other fork, by cautious about these actions and send forked coins only from an address that has already spent ALL btc.

So that means there's nothing to get there and he just hype that shitcoin. The only consistent chain and always keep its value for so long is Bitcoin itself. Those fork coins is just another disturbance, so better for people to completely ignore it.

But I actually like these forkcoins because they prove "Bitcoin Works" in practice. We talk about a lot of abstract stuff, some with fancy names like Byzantine Generals Problem, Proof of Work, Chain With the Most Work (informally referred to as longest chain), Trustless Network, Consensus, etc. But sometimes these are hard to understand concepts. But next time someone asked what the " outpace attackers" that Satoshi said in his whitepaper means, just show them one of these forkcoins.

We can't be sure on the internet about the real motivations of individuals, that is why we have to be very careful and protect the users from misinformation. We have seen what happens in past cases, many people have lost a lot of money by falling for the lies of different fork attempts. There will always be victims of this kind of manipulation just like there are with other kind of scams, but by educating and countering the lies we can help to limit the damage. It is possible that there is a financial interest by the users that are claiming this, some could be paid to spread the information. I believe this is the one that announced today that they were going to delist the Blake2b coin.

They already made a big mistake by listing it, and actually any exchange or other service that does really support Bitcoin should never list any kind of coin that tries to use the Bitcoin name or worse tries to pretend to be Bitcoin. I hope that they have learned their lesson now, because they are creating a negative reputation in both groups. The people who support and care for Bitcoin do not want to see this kind of thing, and the people that are trying to run this scam are going to be very hostile when they don't get what they want.

You can't make this shit up! They wanted the ticker to be called BTC? That's what Roger Ver tried to do with Bcash. Honestly these dudes are going to stick around for a while, and they will be so annoying to deal with. It's like Bcash all over again, except this time, we don't even get any money from the forked coins.

They don't learn, do they? This was tried before and by other malicious people who had more control and power to spread their words in the community (I'm talking about Ver controlling bitcoin.com). Even with all that, their attempts failed miserably and they were and are still known by the community as scammers. Here is one of their attempts at stealing bitcoin name for their shitcoin: In comparison BCash had orders of magnitude higher hashrate than BLuke and they even controlled a major website and exchange (bitcoin.com) that they used to push their fake name. What level of delusion do BLuk-ers have that makes them think they can steal bitcoin's name when their predecessors failed?

They are just creating nonsense noises, then same with other fork coins it immediately dies. So that Luke or Bluke coin is just same thing with all of those things.

Those fork coins like a demo of POW and other things, but actually what good thing need to look at is not about the those fork coins itself, but actually on how Bitcoin is well designed to win against those competitors try to challenge it. But well each fork happen proves that Bitcoin system or chain truly works. Then its shows how sustainable Bitcoin when in terms of having strong security and for having organic or real adoption. Sometimes I think that those fork coins is just the same with memecoins in other sense.
