I say make I talk about this tori wey dey happen for PH since 2 to 3 days if e never pass, say them kill one driver so road no dey work as e suppose be but from wetin I hear say the driver dey alive in a serious condition. I no understand how these guys dey operate and I no know who dey summon power give them to dey disturb drivers for road, people wey dey stay for Okoro and some other places wey moto dey park and load like Mile 3 Diobu, even Town people self go testify say these things dey happen.
Illegal collecting of money from drivers and e come be like say na Dem be local police wey dey collect money and to put their own law, bus stop now be bus again, if moto park any how them catch you na 50k and if you no pay na to less your tyre even fight you and your conductor or even drag your moto go one yeye place say na office... Infact ma leave some of the talk, and make I know wetin dey una mouth. Make ph no become something else oh.

Wonder why many people chose not to comment on yesterday's incident and the agbero chaos in Port Harcourt.
Imagine the Governor banned illegal taskforce/agberos but they continued operating openly, claiming they have the backing of their "lida"!
Many people no longer see the point in voicing out, only to later hear explanations like, "It's a father and son business," or that the agberos/taskforce belong to the "rainbow movement."

At this point, many have decided to simply watch from the sidelines until some people finally realize what they've done to themselves in the name of "structure."

There has been illegal collection of money from the motor drivers and the government knows about it and nothing has been done to checkmate this agbero, as at yesterday I went to Choba uniport axis and couldn't not get a vehicle going to Rumuokwurusi tank due to the protest that one of the drivers was killed just because an agbero wants to collect money, this shouldn't be happening on our roads and the government should put a stop to this things. Some of this people go as far as destroying people's businesses by the roadside all in the name that they are taskforce.

I was just so sad yesterday due to the suffering I went through under the rain and couldn't find any vehicle, it was after a long wait that I saw a tipper driver that offered to help me because he was going my direction. The way they are bullying drivers is unfair and the government needs to stop them before it turns into crisis between the drivers and Agbero.

AFAIK the slogan doesn’t mean what you’re trying to portray it to be. The slogan isn’t intimidating to anyone and it doesn’t say “ you must reply this post with pidgin” rather it’s just like a rally for using Pidgin on the Local board.

There’s freedom of speech in this forum, and you can’t censor what someone wants to add to their post whatsoever, so if you don’t like seeing this then just ignore the user.. the ignore button exists for a reason.


Since the government have banned them from operating then the solution is for the same government to enforce their ban by arresting any illegal task force trying to extort the drivers.

This issue of agbero needs serious attention,  I don’t see a situation where someone will come out giving himself an unpredictable power that enables him to operate without being controlled know matter how hash he is on road users.
The worst of it all is they even operate  both in front of policeman and can even go as far as harassing an officer yet they will still go freely without been punished, on this i think its the right time the government needs to do something about this that is if they are really ready to control the level of cultism in the country as many of them believes such power is taken because of there ruggedity without knowing its just because the government wants it to be and nothing more.

It is sad to say but currently Rivers state doesn’t have a governor, Rivers would come back again soon to it’s days of glory after Sim Fubara leaves office, since this his fight between him and Wike the entire state has been upside down and that is the major reason why thuggery has been on rampage again in Rivers, nobody to control this Agboro boys, some of them stand side by side with police officers, as police is collecting their own bribe Abgoro boys are also collecting theirs, that is how bad things have been and neither the governor nor security agencies have intervened, this ugly incident that led to the loss of life and that is currently causing this scarcity of vehicles in certain areas is the ripple effect of a system whereby their is disunity within the tiers of government, while the politicians are busy fighting themselves this Agboro boys are going about causing havoc, now innocent Rivers residents are the once bearing the blunt.

This confrontation happens on a daily basis,it is either an agbero is seen fighting a kekebus driver because of money or the police is threatening to shoot a driver over N200. This is what we see everyday in the street of port Harcourt and the government might have been receiving reports about this unlawful extortion of citizens by agberos. I think the government will now sit up and start taking this issues seriously because if these agberos(bad boys) are not removed from our streets,we will continue to experience sad incidents like this from time to time.

See eh, if government or governor of Rivers State don ban this piple I no see any reason why the task force piple go still come out again, them dey and them dey operate with better van.
