The youth are the most valuable asset of any nation, community, or family. They bring energy, creativity, and innovation. They are eager to learn, quick to adapt, and willing to take risks for a better future.

The doctors, engineers, teachers, and leaders of tomorrow are sitting in our classrooms today.A well-qualified and skilled youth can drive productivity, support the economy, and build a stronger nation. However, this potential can only be realized if we invest in them by providing quality education, training, and meaningful opportunities.

How can underdeveloped nations use the energy of their youth to break the cycle of poverty and grow their economies?

Youths can help the economy is what I have been hearing and which is true in countries that have good economic leadership. There are some countries that are rapidly reproducing with high fertility rate, but the youths in such countries are foreign goods and services consumers. Countries like Japan and South Korea that have low fertility rate are more of producers than the developing and underdeveloped countries. I do not know what will happen tomorrow, but that is the reality today.

How can underdeveloped nations use the energy of their youth to break the cycle of poverty and grow their economies?
Many countries are currently facing an issue where young people are not treated fairly, their perspectives on the economy are often dismissed as irrelevant because national economic views remain rooted in outdated thinking. Furthermore, many young people choose to seek opportunities abroad rather than in their own countries. This policy disconnect must be addressed if the goal is to encourage the younger generation to take an active interest in improving the quality of life at home.

If the government is corrupt, I dont think it will happen. Without honesty and genuine concern for the country, talent and skills can only do so much.

Let me share what is happening in our country. There are many talented young people here, and nowadays its not that hard to educate ourselves and develop skills. But many still prefer to work abroad because they feel more valued there, especially when it comes to salary compared to working in a country run by corrupt people.

So for me, until corruption is seriously addressed, many of these talents will continue leaving. Only then can their skills really be used for the benefit of the country.

I agree with you. Lunatics leaders are their with their traditional views and they do not want to go parallel with the advancement of the new era. The educational System in the under developed nations still rely on the formula of A for Apple and B for ball. To be extrovert must be the goal of every young person or else this filthy system which is built by the parasites especially in poor countries would eat them alive. The quality of life will remain the same until and unless capitalism is there.

In underdeveloped or developing countries where their are little or no opportunities for young people then only choice left for them is to move to developed countries in search of better opportunities. One prime reason why underdeveloped countries remain underdeveloped is the constant brain drain i.e. there skilled and hardworking youth is moving abroad. Young people who are in their 20s or 30 know that this is the time when their energies are high and this is the time to make a move.

Exactly one of my friend lift the country because he didn't meetup with the job of his expectations while I remember he was more intelligent than chatgpt if we exaggerate a bit Tongue but unluckily no value was given to him in his own hometown. He moved to UK earlier in 2021 and made his own business umpire of networking. A few days ago he called me and said that he is earning more than his expectations. It's better to take risks rather than living a life hands to mouth.

Life is beautiful but it depends rather you live it or enjoy it. And those who are struggling for better tomorrow. I wish them best of luck. Don't be desperate. Movement brings blessings  Kiss

Many ways to go about this but do you know why most underdeveloped country are not getting it right, it is because their leadership play deadly, there energy is not channelled in growing the economy of the country they are ruling rather they are concerned about how they will stay in the corridor of power forever if possible.
In this digital world, youths has dorminated in every aspect of technology both oil and gas and every other field and the good part is that many youths went for these trainings by themselves without been sponsored by anyone or even the government but government of the underdeveloped nations are unable to discover them because those are not their problem, this is very unfortunate, if you visit most of these countries been referred to, you'll know that they really have a long way to go.

You have said it all, corruption will never allow the youths to grow in some countries, a country like my country where the government does not value the youth education will not let them grow, it is not like the youths are not educated, but when they finish their education after many years they end up doing hand work, wasting the talent and skills they learned. Corruption is a country’s biggest problem, and when the leaders are corrupt it will be difficult for a country to develop. Every country needs a leader who values the lives of the youth, a leader who believes that the youth are the leaders of tomorrow.

By sponsoring them and giving quality education. If they believe to the better future which is brought by the younger generation, they have to invest on their education by providing quality teachers and schools facilities. These potential professionals will have a better learning if the environment where they are learning is a proper place. But, that's where the problem is and most governments in the underdeveloped countries lack of budget in doing so. Yet that decisive action will definitely provide them an improved literacy.

How can underdeveloped nations use the energy of their youth to break the cycle of poverty and grow their economies?

Underdeveloped nations can do this: Put more effort in training your young population in skills. Education is not enough, if what use is educated population if there are no jobs to employ them. After developing such skills for them backed with education cause we can't throw away education. It's also important. Next thing to do is creat opportunities for them to actually use those skills. The environment should match the skills.

The opportunities as to be there. Even with the government involved, the youth still have a role to play. Taking responsibility of yourself. Very important. You can't sit back and wait on the government. Be creative, explore, invent and so on. The size or population of a nation is not all that matters. It's just untapped gold. The productivity of such population is were the wealth lies.

The quality education is already there rather they need to provide the eligible ones the merit based results. Equality is not important but equity is. I have seen individuals controlling three or more seats at a time in my country by higher references. And that is the main reason that the underdeveloped ntions stood on where they are and I am assuming they condition might get more worst than the current if things go in that way.

In here youth is not following their dreams ,instead they are fighting for their survival.

Of course it is very clear, youth is an opportunity, a chance and is the most valuable asset for all of us, for that reason, never waste your youth on activities that are useless or not useful, use your youth wisely, as OP said, all these opportunities to become a useful person and as a guarantee of success when youth ends.

Youth is a time to search for and collect money well, the time we have is not used for good in terms of the economy and other things wisely, it will have a bad impact on us in old age, time never goes back and cannot be turned back.

The state or government must be present to provide the facilities needed by the younger generation so they can become the golden generation of the future. One thing the government can do is provide free education; this is a crucial investment. If their education is made difficult, it will also impact future generations.

Give the younger generation the opportunity to express their ideas. Currently, in my country, the voices of young people are still not heard by officials, who I can say are still power-hungry.

Another important thing is to set an example, especially in the political sphere. If those currently demonstrating arrogance, corruption, and so on, will also emulate the next generation.

Empowering the Youth is the answer. Give the opportunities at the ripe age when they are most productive. What I have instead observed in most of the developing countries is that the old folks sideline the youth. For example, we have very old chaps refusing to retire from top positions or leadership positions and this deprives the youth off the opportunities to bring in new ideas and energy. Most of the old leaders are out of ideas and out of touch with the reality, and you end up seeing a country where there are a lot of jobless idle Youth with high crime rates and soaring poverty rates.

Talking about the potential of youth and huge prospects is like a fantasy genre. All these opportunities end where the paths for young people are initially blocked a priori. Not all young people have the opportunity to get at least some kind of education.

For example, the early death of Ramanujan (there was such a mathematician), in fact, due to exhaustion of the body and diseases (due to poverty), illustrates well that a huge amount of potential in society remains undiscovered. And he was also lucky that Hardy helped him study and continue to study mathematics, but how many equally smart young people did not get the chance to realize their potential at all? By the way, this is one example of how rising inequality directly harms progress. The enormous potential of young people will simply not be allowed to unfold.

How can underdeveloped nations use the energy of their youth to break the cycle of poverty and grow their economies?
It's very simple, they should invest in human capacity development. Skills development programmes should be organised for the youths where they can learn different skills and become useful to themselves and the society. A lot of youths grew up with the mentality that after becoming a graduate that they will get employed and earn a living from it but the reality of it is that it was all wishful thinking. Many graduates today do not even have any skills apart from the profession they studied in school and they have become so clueless because it appears like a stress for them to finish studying and find themselves learning a skill.
The government should make it in a way that graduates will immediately learn skills and as well they can also help them with loans and grants so that they can establish their own businesses. Doing this will not only eradicate poverty in the lives of these youths but it will aid the economy to grow effortlessly.

Sure, we should be doing our best to train younger generations in the important fields and cutting back on the more frivolous things. It reached a point in some countries where a big chunk of university candidates were going for rather stupid courses like "media studies". Not that there isn't a valid market for it, but people were flocking to it because it was produced by universities as a way to get extra students and it gained a reputation for not being particular hard to qualify. After a few years of this however, with waves of candidates being produced, employers started to realize that it wasn't a very high quality degree and there weren't enough niche specific jobs in the media sector to handle the many students passing through it. Maybe it was a problem of universities trying to monetize too much and parents just wanting their kids to have any university degree, but it backfired.

That same energy, innovation, creativity can be used to destroy a nation, there are actors that has tried acting all through their youth but never made it till adulthood(40+)
So youth can be wealth and also drain wealth away.
Many underdeveloped are suffering because of youth power, the youth are seriously using all their glory to cause the nation physical and economical problems, yes the government are mainly to be blamed but that doesn't justify some of their actions.

There is a lot of things you can achieve when you are young and if you lose sight of these things while you are at that stage in life it might be difficult for you to get to that point you have missed when you are old. A lot of people waste their youth doing a lot of mundane things that don't really profit them anything.

Being young is actually an opportunity because it is impossible to reverse time to do those things you failed to take advantage of. It is quite disappointing that a lot of young people in this generation are not focused on improving themselves now that they are supposed to and when they get old this will only bring them lots of regrets.
