This is a sadden news, and a gruesome attack on this young boy indirectly.
This is the only thing we see from Nigeria politicians, they value position than the lives of Nigeria citizens, the kind of politics our politicians play is a very dirty politics, as they kill innocent citizens because of election campaign who are they actually coming to rule? This is a clear evidence that the Nigeria politicians are after what they will gain for themselves rather than what they will do for Nigerians, and I really feel so bad to see lives of innocent Nigerians being claimed because of political interest.

During election campaign, you don't see the children of these politicians coming to campaign for their parents, and this is the main reason why these politicians unleash mayhem because they know their children are not around to campaign for them, if their children is actually campaigning for them, they will afraid of causing troubles because they know their children will be affected.

We should be careful with these politicians as Nigeria citizens because they don't mean well for Nigerians, during election campaign, that is when they will make unfaithful promises that they won't be able fulfill even when they assume office, and they will begin to throw gift just to attract people's interest, we should be wise enough to resist them, and ensure that neither their promises nor their gift will make you follow them or even cast vote for them.

APC government has kept this country Nigeria in it's present condition, and they are desperate to go back to office again, now they have started campaign with shooting, and killing, how long shall this APC keep tormenting the peace of this country Nigeria, let's be wise in choosing our leaders without being biased, let the right person be voted to keep Nigeria peaceful, and have a more stable economy.

With this news i hope most of us will know how to behave during the campaign, politicians don’t care about our lives, all they know is to win election and win, the boy reported being shot did not know what is going on and he was kill, and I believe that there will not be any good investigation about it because the incident happened during the campaign, one thing we the citizens should know is that those people we are risking our lives to campaign for did not care about us, once something happen to us they will forget us, the best thing they can do is to pay our bills and forget about us.

Politics is a game that a poor person should avoid, poor person should only vote the candidate who he or she believes that he will be a good leader, i saw many videos how people are campaigning and i was surprised because i don’t expect to see people behaving like that, people have sold their souls just because of small things the politicians promised them, those are the same people that don’t care about us when they get elected, not only the APC, I will never trust any political parties in Nigeria.

The incident reports didn't stated who fired the shots because obviously they were two security operatives visible on the campaign ground. Those operative were the Nigeria police and the amotekun which both of them were holding rifles. So since the eyes witness didn't know which of these operatives were involved in the shootings,a thorough investigation should be carried out to know which one of the operatives took the shot which accidentally hit the little boy in the leg.
What do we expect when rifles are handed over to untrained police officer to protect lives and property.  Alots of people have met their sudden demise through stray bullets, sometimes these people died without getting justice. If the operative who shot the boy is uncovered, the government should ensure he is punished for his recklessness as it almost costs the little boy of his precious life.

APC government won't relinguish power easily so they will do everything humanly possible to come back to office come 2027 elections and this will cause more killings. Nigerians should learn to say no to taking peanuts and few cup of rices during elections period so we don't keep electing bad leaders and it's quite unfortunate that the innocent boy was shoot.

This forthcoming Osun state gubernatorial election is beginning to turn into something else, the tension is too much, the other day we saw Okpebholo who’s the governor of Edo state coming to campaign for Ambo who happens to be the candidate for APC, And from his speech you’ll know that this people are bent on doing everything possible to win the election, not just him, even the governor of Imo State vowed that the APC will take over power from the incumbent governor Adeleke who’s also contesting for the second term. Davido have to step in and fire back at Okpebholo and Hope Uzodinma causing more heated tension in the state. I think with this incident now especially as the incident happens during APC campaign it will be wise for the APC candidate to just step aside because all fingers will be pointing at him and his Party APC, and even if the APC win the election a lot of finger will be pointing at them for not allowing a free and fair election.

They are so power drunk that they want to take position by force, and don't have the idea of free, and fair election in their own mind. What happened to the All Progressive Congress member in Edo State isn't an attack and it's totally different from what happened in Osun State, which claimed the life of a 12 year old boy. The All Progressive Congress member who was beaten up by an angry youths brought what happened to him upon himself, how can him say that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the best thing that happened to Nigeria and they should vote for him in the upcoming presidential election, after he implemented policies that only brought suffering and hunger in the country. If all the youths in Nigeria can behave like Edo youths, their is a likelihood of voting in another candidate as president of Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2027 presidential election.

Political campaigns is done everywhere in the world peacefully but ours is always bloody as we are being used as bait during the electioneering year and the Youths and those who are used don't learn and be wise, ordinarily is campaigns not supposed to be peaceful and people will come out and do their party campaigns without gun shots and bloodshed?, now if you take a close look at the scenero you will come to realize that the shooting might even come from the security operatives with the politicians and that's why they can't identify the culprits as they know where it came from.
