Affiliate marketing is no more one single action like asking to visit the website or buy now. It has changed so fast and is now structured around dynamic ways of promoting products. Competition was always there and in every niche, but those websites that started early and invested a good amount in their marketing strategy are now market leaders. This niche is so full that a small player cannot survive, and I have also seen those who are into micro-niche in casino affiliates are struggling to stay afloat. I think it is better to stay away from this niche for now.
Many people have started using AI, and it's become as familiar to them as the internet or smartphone, which is always with us. So, of course, players prefer to simply consult with AI about the best choice, while partner sites have lost their performance and traffic, as you say. In any case, I think they've lost revenue, but that doesn't mean they're not making a profit, especially given the current climate, when gambling is incredibly popular, especially among young people, and I don't see this trend slowing down.

I have read through the first page and I'm disappointed with the answers I'm seeing. Cheesy I like the topic I'm seeing, this is going to help combat the spam and let people have reasonable discussion but many people don't understand anything about affiliate marketing not to talk of casino affiliate marketing. This thing is not about if a casino profitable and big enough, a Casino can be big and will still try to do affiliate marketing in a community.

This forum for instance, a casino can decide instead of running the usual campaign, they are going to decide to have a affeliate marketing with some users, they are going to design a signature for anyone interested and a unique is going to be provided and when forum members click on the link and register, they pay you per the number of people that comes from that link. I have seen a manager use such way to want to track his participants influence on the forum one time, I didn't know how it ended. Most people here don't understand anything about affeliate marketing.

I think the better way to make a casino affiliate site is to create a review website where you post reviews about big casinos and write in detail about the experience of playing in them along with with some coupons or bonuses for signing up with your referral links.

It can be in the manner of a blog with links to every casino that you have reviewed and also daily posts.

Buying an old one even if they are showing good traffic is not something I prefer, but you can do it as well if you find managing it not to be an issue.

[...]
Although your main question is limited to casino affiliate sites, you have proven yourself how profitable an affiliate program is even without a website.
Wondering, how and what did you do if you do not have a website to spread your affiliate link? Via social media or something else?
[...]

So back then, before I knew crypto, I often used payment processors like Liberty Reserve and Perfect Money. I used them mostly for money games like HYIP. At that time, I was familiar with sports betting. But most of the websites, both local and global, I knew still only accepted bank transfers, so I tried to find a sports betting site that offered LR and PM, and found that website.

I tested the site, bet, and withdrew my money successfully a few times. Since it was paying and I found it fun to play, I shared my story, my winnings, and withdrawals on a forum I joined. There was no restriction on sharing affiliate links there either, so I was allowed to share my affiliate link. And that's it, many people joined.

IMO, it happened probably because of 3 things. First, the forum members were already familiar with the payment processors. Second, the minimum deposit and withdrawal were so small. I don't really remember exactly, but it was less than $1, just like crypto casinos nowadays. Third, maybe because I also gave them a chance to get free money from the commission I earned from my referrals. It's just from the forum, and from only one sports betting website.

[...]
Yeah, in my opinion $20,000 without having your own website is definitely a very good result, but I’d be interested to know how long it took to make that amount and how much time and money went into promotion.
[...]

It took several years. The first month, I got like $150 something, and in the second month, I got $1,000. The best I got was $1,700 something. But as I said before, there was a month where I got nothing. The time I spent on promotion? Only the time I spent on making that one thread on the forum I joined.

[...]
I have thought about running ads to further my affiliate link but I don't really know if that is a strategy that is worth the effort. As you mentioned it can be difficult to find users who will actually put money behind their registrations.  If anyone has any success in advertising to further affiliates, I'd be interested in hearing how and may have to do some searching to find successful ways to get signups as that has become a potentially lucrative activity.

People use ads for a casino affiliate link? Never knew about it before. Maybe the challenge would not be how to get referrals from the ads, but how to get the ads finally approved. Because most ad platforms have strict rules when it comes to gambling, especially Meta and Google.

But I do know some ad platforms that allow gambling. But these ads really depend on the publishers. Sometimes the ads just show up on unrelated publishers' websites just because the publisher allows gambling. CMIIW.

[...]
I don't think you understand the meaning of casino affiliate website. If you do, you would know that it has a lot of means to make money. Aside from the fact that they embed casino links to make money as their direct affiliate, they can also still advertise directly for them, and even other companies that are interested on the site, like, Forex brokers, exchanges, etc. In addition, to write good about that and paint them in a good light, if they are popular enough, casinos could still approach them with juice packages.

That's why I ask here. I need more info from people who have a better understanding like you. Is it still worth creating one from scratch considering the decline in traffic for many websites since the AI era?

Honestly, I actually expect a more specific answer here, rather than "Yes, it's profitable if you have traffic, trust, good content, etc" I am expecting something more detailed, like based on the amount of traffic, popularity, etc. Estimation of banner ads, exclusive partnerships with casinos, affiliate commission, paid listings, etc. Do casino deals usually come in the form of real money, balance in the casino, or custom offers, like deposit bonuses with low wagering requirements, etc? Also, what is the typical ratio of traffic : users who register : users who make a deposit?

[...]
I offer bonuses here and there depending on the type of wagerer you might be and also the site in which you are wagering on. I also have VIP rewards where users make a certain % of what I earned from them weekly and in some cases it's up to 70%.

Here is an example of a site I currently run that includes a 1k weekly leaderboard and VIP rewards. https://lootcrew.io/
[...]

So, that VIP rewards are more like referral cashback, where you only take 30% from the commission you earned, right? CMIIW. But how about that weekly prize pool, $1,000? Does it directly come from your own pocket, like a fixed reward? Because for sure, the commission is not fixed. And how do you get that data on your website?

Many people have started using AI, and it's become as familiar to them as the internet or smartphone, which is always with us. So, of course, players prefer to simply consult with AI about the best choice, while partner sites have lost their performance and traffic, as you say. In any case, I think they've lost revenue, but that doesn't mean they're not making a profit, especially given the current climate, when gambling is incredibly popular, especially among young people, and I don't see this trend slowing down.
How much can AI really help in gambling? I don't think AI can play any role in gambling directly, but gamblers can take help of AI to analyze it.
And I agree with the age group you mentioned about gambling involvement, yes, nowadays young people are getting more involved in gambling and I have also noticed that some older people are also addicted to gambling because when they retire, they get lonely and they are mainly getting involved in gambling to overcome this loneliness.

AI can be very helpful when you want to predict a match or a game, some people have testified that they have used AI to predict some games and it gave them a very nice prediction that they used in winning.
However, I know that AI prediction is not always sure it is still 50-50 and I believe people that use AI are those who are not very conversant with that particular sports they want to predict or bet on.

You are right old people are usually addicted to gambling, because they find gambling as the only thing that can entertain them and keep them happy. They use the challenge of winning as a motivation to keep going.
When you are old and you have achieved everything you want to achieve in life, believe me life become miserable until you find something that you want to achieve and gambling, help them with that.

You can only get addicted when you are abusing something or an activity. For a retired person to get addicted to gambling, this means they must have been gambling since when they are young and working vibrantly till they get retired.

Addiction is a common thing we have been seeing in our society and it has become very hard for those that have been gambling for very long time not to become addict. Using AI for gambling is not reliable and this can work on games that are luck based, for games that are skill based, gamblers will have to take their time to learn every skill to be able to compete with others.

It's possible to generate good revenue from casino affiliate websites. But need to be careful while dealing with sellers cause they may show you higher monthly earnings. So you should not trust those documents without proper verification. A website real value depends on its ranking, traffic, trust and the quality of the audience. Revenue will change anytime if website's search rankings drop or affiliate deals change.

To make a good profit depends on the affiliate marketing sites as not all sites are profitable. There are some that can make you a good amount of profit if you register with them because they have a good percentage policies but others are just wicked as they do not bother about how you are doing instead they just want you to make profit for them while being left out without you getting anything. I will prefer to work with the casinos directly instead of making use of an affiliate site that I will have to share the percentage of commission I am to get. Working with the casino directly will be profitable than when you use a third party site

Although they might not make as much as casino's do but you've already answered yourself with the fugure you mentioned, $100k is possible and even more for a popular affiliate site, they would've made more if Google and AI weren't the issue cause people could use those options to check the regulations of different casino's without registering with an affiliate site to check it.

Affliate casino's don't really depend on the house edge like others get money through clicks from traffic and affliate through Revshare (Revenue share) whereby they link players to different casino's and get a certain percent of what those players lose, but the main casino's makes more profits.

Maybe if some gamblers we have to concentrate more on the casino affiliate programs, maybe they wouldn't have been running after winning in gambling in other to make some earnings through the process, gambling has been made easily affordable for everyone to enjoy as long as we know the right route to take in it, it takes you nothing if you can use your social media influence to also advertise for you casino and achieve your target, which is more lucrative idea than waiting to win a bet in gambling.

Well, affiliate websites do not actually use the strategy of hiring influencers in order to promote and advertise their services and reviews on social media, at least that is something I am yet too see myself.
People who have their own affiliate website usually just go around gambling communities and share their website to anyone they come across, hoping a big enough percentage of members of that community will give a chance to it.

Hiring influencers is something which casinos and bookies do, bot affiliate websites. Unless it is big enough to have influencers in their payroll. Again, something I have not seen yet.

The reason gamblers dont usually for such projects is because of their impulsive mindset which fuels their gambling habit and other stuff in life.

A affiliate program requires you to focus and work on it, grind on content writing, making it worth reading for the viewers and at the same time control the frustration of not getting enough traffic in the initial days.

Gamblers hate grinding and they want to get-rich-quick and hence they will never try these things.

This is a reminder that times are changing, what used to be a very important thing might be irrelevant tomorrow because of AI. Discussions like this are what triggers the question, is AI going to take all our jobs in the future? Those who are greatly affected by AI have to join the trend by learning how to use AI do their task better. For the affiliate sites, I don't think they stand a chance to compete with AI now or in the future to come. However, instead of developing any new affiliate sites I'll recommend that developers spend that energy and resources into building something that has the potential to update itself with the change of technology.

Can you give an example of the kind of project you mean? Actually, even though we use AI for searching casino reference lists, sometimes we still see AI giving suggestions that refer to certain sites considered quite relevant to what we are looking for.
I don't know people's habits when looking for new casino sites, but the most effective spread usually comes from ads and friends' recommendations.

I’m generally quite cautious about this kind of activity, such as sharing referral or affiliate links, especially when it’s presented as a way to make money. I always wonder how worthwhile it actually is in terms of the time and effort you put into it compared to what you get paid. However, if someone has enough free time to do it alongside their main source of income, it can be a nice little side hustle, at least enough to make some money for a coffee and a pastry.

I think he meant an AI built app whereby instead of developer to depend on blogs, community reviews, and occasionally collect the update of casino API's and data, the AI can just do that in a smarter and faster way, i don't know if any of those kind of projects exist and i don't think it's necessary if that's what he meant cause the current affliate sites are already serving their purpose.
Although AI can be linked with the sites like some have already done by using AI as chat bots which helps attend to customer's questions and navigating the site too.

I believe that's actually what he was referring to. And an AI-powered affiliate site would be able to make the experience of discovering casinos far more dynamic. AI can quickly gather and process changes to bonuses, games, licenses, and other crucial information without the need for manually updated blogs and reviews. I don't believe that the old fashioned affiliate sites are going to become obsolete any time soon though. They already have got traffic, authority, user trust. While AI could certainly supplement the existing affiliate marketing model, it is unlikely to completely replace it.

I think affiliate program can definitely be much more rational way to make money in gambling industry than trying to regularly beat casino itself.  Unlike gambling itself, the result depends much more on your own work rather than randomness or luck.
But I wouldn't agree that gamblers simply don't like working hard. I think the real issue is completely different speed of getting result.

But your main point is ok. If your goal is specifically to make money, it makes much more sense to try to build business than to try to consistently make money by gambling. In first case, you at least have opportunity to build long term asset and gradually improve your result. While in second case, mathematical advantage is on the casino’s side from very beginning.

Yes I totally agree with you and especially in Esports betting AI is more effective. There are many who do not have knowledge about different teams and they cannot take the right decision which team is stronger between two teams. In taking this decision, a person can take the help of AI and bet on the stronger team. I know several people who take the help of AI for betting in Esports and I have heard from them that they have benefited a lot.

Gambling is increasing significantly among the youth compared to the elderly. Yes, it is increasing among the elderly but comparatively the youth are getting more addicted. Especially if I mention my area then I can see the extent of the increase

The truth is that alot of people do not look for casino to play on using affiliate sites. It's an odd one. Even the use of Ai to search for casino is not advised. I rather just use a recommendation or pick one from this forum instead of using an Ai to search for one. Ai might help make things better and much interesting while searching but it won't be able to replace these affiliate sites completely. Those sites are managed manually and it's a good way to help understand players better. Depending too much on Ai would be sufficient but not fully efficient to some extents.
