70 billion.

Normal people doesnt need so much money.

He probably got "only" about 100 million for himself and he is living very discrete somewhere.

I don’t really know if normal people don’t need that much money in their lives, but I’m sure if I have such money I will still be a normal person. But jokes apart, people don’t really need that much to live a good and decent life. If everyone can have this mentality, I don’t think people will be killing themselves over having so much money they can’t finish in their life. But the greed of keeping money for generations yet unborn that they not even sure of, won’t allow them. But they forget that if everyone just get exactly what they will need for their lives, that the generations yet unborn will also meet what they will need when they get here.

Consider what happened in India on November 8, 2016. In a sudden evening broadcast, the government announced that 500 and 1,000 rupee notes would cease to be legal tender at midnight. Overnight, millions of physical bills stored in homes across the country became worthless paper unless they were deposited into the banking system. Mass panic ensued as people stood in lines for days just to convert their life savings. A single decision from the authority controlling the ledger reshaped an entire economy overnight.

Definitely the longest and educative post I have read in a while. I have to qoute this part because it reminds me of similar event that happened in Nigeria few years ago. I think it was 2022 when government announced new naira redesign for the 200, 500 and 1000 naira notes. About 45 days was given as a deadline to get rid of the old naira notes else, they become useless. Banks became operational more than their usual operation hours just to accommodate a large number of people that want to deposit their cash (old naira) but couldn't meet up at all. Extension upon extension on the deadline until the government announced that both new notes and old notes can be use simultaneously until further notice.

They made people panic day and night to get rid of the old notes suddenly and then decided to change their mind later. They toy with people's emotion because they control the value while people control just a piece of paper that government can render useless with a single broadcast.

Imagine you're holding bitcoin during that period. You will be laughing at people running up and down to meet up with government new policy. Now we know, if you don't control the ledger, you're just holding a piece of paper with no value unless the authority adds value to it. With Bitcoin, you don't need any central authority to act on your behalf determining the value for you.

Satoshi created bitcoin and as the creator he acquired some btc. He has money and he has other things he is doing to fetch him money. That is why has not touched his main investment. Satoshi has another regular investment wallet where transactions flow daily. So there is no need for him to touch his long-term investment wallet.

You sound so confident as if you can prove what you just said.  Cheesy

That text literally screams AI from start to finish. Copyleaks finds as many as 113 phrases characteristic of AI...

As I mentioned in the OP, it was translated from Bengali to English.
The problem is, in some paragraphs, sometimes I do not find the exact word that matches in English. Even if I do, that does not sound good. I don't even understand my own translation sometimes because of my poor wording. So, I had to run it with the AI to find a better alternative. Which is why I clearly mentioned that I used AI to have a better understanding. I am not posting for the daily quota or something. I thought this could be a good read for beginners. This was the main goal of this thread.

There is no end to discussions about Satoshi, his wallet, or the Bitcoin he holds, simply because so many mysteries regarding his true identity remain unsolved. I view Satoshi as a deeply philanthropic individual; someone driven by compassion, generosity, and a desire to do good for the benefit of humanity. I am unconcerned with those who dislike Satoshi, or his ideas (including Bitcoin); what matters to me is his concern for human needs, particularly when he devised a solution to the problems associated with centralized authority. I regard Satoshi as someone who prioritized the public interest over his own.

Looking at it in the other way round Bitcoin is not a visible currency that can be touched or felt, so there is not way Satoshi would have touched his coins till date even when he has things in his possession.
Satoshi might have used part of his investment without  any one know, so he won't be announcing when ever he spends part of his investment to show off to people that he is the Bitcoin Lord.

I am also from south Asia and such steps are taken in other countries also including mine. Government give proper time to people to exchange their currency notes that are taken out from circulation. We need to understand 8 November 2016 announcement by Indian government, "Modi (Indian PM) emphasised that citizens who had 500 and 1,000 rupee notes need not panic, as cash could be deposited at banks or post offices until the end of 2016 (50 days)" Source. There are people who do illegal business (like drug dealers, illegal betting etc)  and they have lot of fiat currency in the form of cash and they are the one which are mostly affected by such moves.
