Parano1d enters the Colosseum Arena

Parano1d is now participating in the Crypto World’s Fair on Colosseum. The entry is the live Layer 1 itself. Work on v2 has now begun with a clear target: proof-native contracts without turning Parano1d into another general-purpose VM chain. Contract execution should become part of the same proven State transition that already carries validity forward from genesis. Miners prove execution once and nodes verify the proof instead of replaying the computation.

The first feasibility study is complete. A general interpreter did not fit the existing B25 block budget, while a bounded State-object model did.

The prototype provides 16 contract-capable positions inside a fixed relation. Blocks containing 0, 1, 4 or 16 calls use the same matrix and relation digest. The complete B25 HistoryStep uses 4,188,799 of 4,194,304 rows, leaving 5,505 rows inside the current domain. B255 retains all 255 authorization positions and the Tx8x2 body remains 323 bytes. Adversarial tests reject invalid code, State, context, recipient and authority.

The ABI, terminal proof, resource policy, production benchmarks and updated soundness certificate still have to be completed.

Small Parano1d v2 economics note for those following closely.

NOID inflation is coming down. The current emission was calibrated for a much more active early network in terms of state usage than we actually got. v2 starts correcting that.
We are also moving to longer block times and increasing block capacity.

Parano1d v2.0.0 Mandatory protocol update

V2 activates at mainnet block 210,537, estimated for October 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM PDT. Activation follows block height. Nodes, GUI wallets, block-producing pool nodes and exchange infrastructure must update before that height. Older versions cannot validate v2 blocks.

Downloads: https://parano1d.org
Canonical Release: https://git.parano1d.org/ignotusnemo/parano1d/releases/
Github mirror: https://github.com/proof-native/parano1d/releases/

Proof-native smart contracts

Live outputs can commit to a program, spending authorities and persistent counters. Execution and authorization are verified inside the shared recursive block proof. Nodes authenticate the current result after old transaction bodies have been pruned. The integer core supports up to 16 instructions, two persistent u64 counters, checked arithmetic, conditions and block height. Six templates cover payments with refunds, timelocked vaults, allowance wallets, period budgets, recurring payments and gradual unlocks. Custom programs use the same matrices. Scheduled policies execute through authorized calls.

The release includes a GUI Contracts workspace, CLI commands and 14 contract RPC methods. Participants retain terms and receipts; importing updates preserves local records.

Capacity and consensus

The target interval changes from 20 to 30 seconds. Small (m23) supports up to 63 one-page transactions. Large (m24) supports up to 206 and requires the server flag --v2-large-blocks. All nodes validate both classes. Both classes allow 504 inputs and up to 63 contract calls. Calls consume transaction slots: a Large block can contain 63 calls plus 143 ordinary one-page payments. ASERT timing is adjusted, and the first v2 proof binds to the last pre-v2 block.

Issuance

State-triggered subsidy reductions are replaced with a height schedule starting at the fork:

16 -> 11.30 -> 8 -> 5.65 -> 4 -> 2.83 -> 2 -> 1.41 -> 1 NOID per block

Each step lasts 1,051,200 blocks, approximately one year. After eight reductions, the permanent tail is 1 NOID per block. State occupancy still affects fees for net-new live slots; that growth component is burned. Consolidation retains its economic incentive.

Additional changes reduce repeated work during synchronization, proving and verification, and improve wallet and receipt recovery.

I finally found the time to set up the official Parano1d Discord. Miners, builders, researchers, and everyone curious about the project ARE welcome.

Come say hi: https://discord.gg/MxtdCBm2S9
I can't send money from my wallet, even after updating it. Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

This tells me nothing. If you need help, describe what actually happened, whether your wallet is synced, what the logs show and ask a specific question.

It is an interesting project from a technical standpoint, but it raises questions in certain respects...  A brief overview here: https://www.cryptoprofi.info/?p=19604

It is an interesting project from a technical standpoint, but it raises questions in certain respects...  A brief overview here: https://www.cryptoprofi.info/?p=19604

Quote
1. All resources related to the project were recently opened by anonymous individuals, and the most important of them (network explorer, ignotusnemo github repository, and others) were not working at the end of September 2026;
2. AriaPool, a pool created for mining NOID, closed very quickly after operating for about three weeks;
3. Just three weeks after launch, the entire emission model was revised, which does not look like a reliable long-term project.

1.
I am pseudonymous. Third-party service operators decide for themselves whether to disclose their identities. Join our Discord https://discord.gg/MxtdCBm2S9 and ask them their id:=)

Explorer. Parano1d does not require it. Nodes prune old transaction bodies and verify live State without replaying the full transaction history. The wallet’s Scope shows current State (explore blocks, latest transactions, addresses, balances, etc), Receipts let users verify past payments. So web explorers you can find are third-party services they can up and down, not official infrastructure. The most complete one I know is https://noidexplorer.org, though I do not operate it.

The canonical repository and both GitHub and GitLab mirrors are listed under Source on https://parano1d.org. My personal GitHub account is a separate matter, I addressed it here https://x.com/ignotus_nemo/status/2098686617527410893.

update Oct. 5 : my og github account is back https://github.com/ignotusnemo

What exactly does “and others” refer to?

2.
AriaPool an independent pool. Its operator can explain why it closed i think. I personally use the Suprnova pool many years and glad that ocminer added noid there https://noid.suprnova.cc/
You can choose your best working pool at https://parano1d.org under Third-party - Pools

update Oct.9 : AriaPool is back with NOID:=)

3.
The issuance model was revised for v2 because State occupancy was not providing a useful horizon for subsidy reductions. The reasons and the resulting schedule are documented here https://lab.parano1d.org/research/parano1d-v2-tokenomics/. Also I believe we launched mainnet on Aug 21, not 3 weeks ago. long-term, short-term its game of words. I trust in code and tech better.

All official and third-party links are maintained on https://parano1d.org
Parano1d v2.0.1 is out.

This is the mandatory build for v2 activation at mainnet. If you downloaded v2.0.0, replace it before that height. The activation height has not changed.

A miner report identified a timestamp advantage in same-height block races. V2.0.1 derives the difficulty target from the parent block, so competing blocks with that parent have the same target. Thanks to the miners who brought the data.

Parano1d v2.0.2 is available.

v2.0.2 speeds up State synchronization. Upgraded peers batch and compress small segments, while clients verify every segment separately and reuse matching segments already on disk. The previous transport remains supported, so older and newer peers can synchronize with each other.

Wallet sends and consolidation now select output slots using live State, reducing collisions in nearly full segments.

v2 activates at block 210,537. Nodes and GUI wallets must run v2.0.1 or newer before activation. At activation, v2 introduces proof-native contracts, a 30-second block target, optional larger blocks, height-based issuance and a fork difficulty fix.

Parano1d v2 is live on mainnet ✅

Activation completed at block 210,537 on October 11. No chain divergence, proof verification failures or database errors were observed. Independent difficulty calculations matched v2 blocks.

Now active:

Proof-native contracts. Refundable payments, timelocks, delegated spending, recurring payments and vesting. Contract execution is verified within the recursive State transition proof.
A 30-second block target.
Expanded block capacity. The default Small proof class now supports larger blocks, while the optional Large class provides additional payment capacity.
Height-based issuance. The block subsidy starts at 16 NOID and follows a fixed reduction schedule down to a permanent 1 NOID per block.
Parent-based difficulty calculation. Competing blocks extending the same parent share the same difficulty target, resolving the previous same-height difficulty race.

Latest release: v2.0.3
