Reading your post, I found it very romantic and beautiful lifestyle escapism. It would have been great if it were true. But facing the harsh truth of life, I am forced to say that it can be an extremely dangerous mental disorder. We can never accept gambling or casinos as stress release or means of weekend entertainment to avoid our worries of difficult life.

Speaking for myself, when I go to casino with stress and mental turmoil of whole week, and put money in the bet, I have noticed that it increases my stress even more. I think in difficult situations like this that you have mentioned above, gambling could be a distraction but it's for the moments. Because after gambling for a day,the problem will still be there if unsolved. This is ridiculous and you are still making sense at same time, when people gamble to become rich or wealthy that becomes a problem because you have already given yourself a force hope and the reason i said force hope is because you winning in gambling is not guarrantee. we should keep our expectation in gambling so moderate so we don't over do it. however, no matter how uncertain winning in gambling can be i do not do it for fun but rather to make money but not with the intention to be wealthy with it.

Life can be full of responsibilities and problems that gets your attention everytime but you must know that gambling might not be a good distraction for everyone .some people end up getting addicted to it while using it as a coping mechanism.
