The Bitcoin market will perform better this year than it did last year in Q3, because at the moment the Bitcoin market is on a fairly bullish trajectory. Because the $60k level has been firmly established, and for the past few months the market has been performing in such a way that any situation that the Bitcoin price is bullish on will stop again.
So this year, the Q3 season will definitely produce a green candle, but if the market situation is more deplorable and the Bitcoin price corrects, then you should take the opportunity to buy Bitcoin.

In Q3 of last year, we literally hit our peak. I get that it did go down from there, but it did also hit the peak at the same time as well. How could we do better? I do not think that you realise which year we are in. We are in the bear year; last year was the bull year. Bull year means better returns; bear year means bad returns. We are going to keep having some more bad returns without a doubt.

I understand that you want to see good, because everyone wants to see it go up; who wouldn't want that? But just because we want to see it do better doesn't mean that we are going to. It just doesn't work that way, and we should be able to actually d o a lot better with time, but right now, this period, we are not going to. The thing about the market is that it doesn't change because of anything; it may stall, but eventually gets to where it wants to get to, and that is what we are going to see yet again. I think the most important part is that the bear doesn't stop for anyone, and it will not stop now either.

All I know is that bitcoin will not really increase, but bitcoin will not end Q3 in red. Many different speculations are suggesting also that the end of bear market would be in Q4 as they are mentioning October, but I still think that the price of bitcoin may be boring also in Q4, but which I am not totally sure about but just giving my own opinion about it.

I'm also thinking the same thing, or at least I will say that Bitcoin will move sideways around a huge range for the rest of the year. If I will give a number, it will be around $57,000 - $70,000 maybe or to even more conservative, around $75,000. Of course, I'm still thinking that Bitcoin could go down and reach $50,000, but the longer it takes, the lesser the chances of that to happen.

Speaking of Q3 not ending in red, it's also the first time in many years that we've seen Bitcoin probably ending this month in a green. I mean August 2018, red. August 2022, red as well and speaking of Q3 not ending in red, I don't see Bitcoin dropping 11% in just a span of 2 weeks UNLESS there will be a barrage of bad news that could affect the whole crypto market. Maybe we can add the fact that the CPI and PPI ended up at what many are forecasting and it didn't went higher and that's bullish as well for the markets.

I'm one that it could end in October because on average, bear markets lasts for a year and the bear market started in October 2025, so there's a chance that it might, but of course there's always a chance that we might see unexpected things. Well, that's what makes the crypto market a very exciting asset to invest our money with.

The only thing I am still observing is the Clarity Act bill that the USA congress want to pass , if it's works well, then we might see some good movement from Bitcoin ( but it won't be massive). It could get to $70k during Q4. But if the bill is rejected, and democrat party wins the mid term election, I am quite optimistic that Bitcoin price could remain around its current range until next year. Bitcoin performed beyond our expectations last year, where it broke multiple ATH. As an investor, we just have to keep doing our normal DCA , and hope next year gets better .

The good news is Q3 or Autumn northern hemisphere is always turbulent, its known for it and pretty much you can depend on upset turmoil and best case a bullish outcome from that higher volume turnover to markets.    However that's the big picture and we are presuming to state that outcome, present evidence doesn't show Bitcoin accumulating enough momentum for me to really expect a positive upturn.

Ask this question when BTC beats 69k or at least challenges this level, we aint even come close to a proper challenge of 200 day simple moving average (since May) and thats the most basic take on gains in Bitcoin or many assets. The gradient has to match a positive outlook, for now its negative even if we put a spin on the story and said its fighting fit and working its way towards that target.

We have seen how many times that the market has been trailing behind and consolidating even when we expected a big push from the market, but they where all to no avail. The current price is $62.9k, fluctuating between this price and $65k. It's safe to say this will be a month of significant uncertainty. I haven't seen any indication that the US and Iran are still at war; so far, there's a truce, which is keeping the market somewhat stable. However, I've noticed that the price is heavily influenced by whales, and we don't yet know their intentions.

I'm one of those who think we should be vigilant. The price might drop a bit more, but we don't know if that's to encourage more selling and more buying by the big players. It could be a trap they're setting in the market.

Will 2026 Q3 be different for bitcoin

If you talk about Q3 2026 speculation is doubtful for Bitcoin to go off track historically, if I'm not mistaken I saw that the price of Bitcoin in July experienced a spike, it's a little difficult for Bitcoin to change.

Except: Q3 2026 experiences a change in speculation, if there is no pressure from the crypto market transition, but the opposite happens, the historical trend for Bitcoin movement seems to tend to weaken, this situation will put Bitcoin in a transition phase.
