Provided that the transaction happens directly on a blockchain and the blockchains ledger takes record of the transaction its called "On-chain". What he meant by on-chain casino is crypto casino. Some people have their way of expressing things differently from others. If I'm wrong, anyone is allowed to correct me.
Possibly he may be referring to crypto casinos as on-chain casinos but which is not right. Many people are confusing web3 to on-chain which is not also supposed to be the right term used to describe them because they are not on-chain either. I have not seen any casino that is on-chain before and I do not think there will be any because gambers may not see it necessary to always transact with casinos after each bet.

I thought people used on-chain and Web3  as synonyms, because it is obvious all crypto casinos (decentralized or centralized) are supposed to use on-chain transactions in order to carry out deposits and withdrawals...
I could not imagine a crypto casino which would not be off-chain, it does not make sense at all, in my opinion.

That is the kind of terminology mistake which I would expect from newbies who don't know the differences between centralization and decentralization...

I didn't understand anything, how does this mess work? using metamask?
so what changes compared to traditional casinos

I really racked my brain trying to understand, but an example would be useful to understand a mess like this, does anyone have a screenshot?

I run on of the most reputable and unbiased crypto casino review websites and I wanted to reach out to this community to for topics, mysteries, questions you have in terms of "On-chain Casinos", "GambleFi" and "PvP Casino Games". Also you can suggest to review any casino - We are here to write for the community!

OP something isn't adding up, as per your first post on this forum you are talking about testing model for casinos, so how many things or Innovation you got running?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5584062.msg66765247#msg66765247

It's very hard to even do everything you said you are doing at once, it's near Impossible, I also can't find any link to the review platform that you are talking about, if youh have done any past reviews on few crypto casinos or online casinos we should be able to read through your reviews and let's see how accurate they are.

Do you mean casinos that operate entirely on blockchain and are known in the GambleFi sector as "Fully OnChain" or "Decentralized Casinos"? I haven't tried them but I think they are becoming increasingly popular and attracting millions of users looking for privacy and transparency and decentralization.

But these Decentralized Casinos have fundamental weaknesses and many challenges that affect user experience and security, such as price volatility and smart contract vulnerabilities and poor customer service and also the risk of fraud.

It is not actually so difficult to understand. You take a wallet like Meta mask (installed extension on your internet browser) then get to the casino website.
Instead of using a password and username to log in you are supposed to use your wallet address instead, Metamask will automatically sign a message so the casino will know the person accessing their website is also in control of the address and funds in that wallet.

Games are not run on the servers of the casino, they run on the Blockchain instead, on a smart contract. Meaning instead of depositing funds to the casino itself, one deposits to the smart contract in order to play. If there is profit for us, the smart contract send us money back automatically.

That it is basically a very simplified explanation on how it works...
