The game should clearly end after extra time in my opinion. We all saw how they played against Manchester United and PSG will find it difficult to win PSG not because they can't, because they're not fully fit for this game. Honestly, there is absolutely no reason why we should overestimate Villa. Unai Emery has been there for a long, long time, and yet this is still Aston Villa we are talking about. Not a bad team, of course not a bad team, but we are talking about PSG on the other side. If PSG shits the bed and plays terrible, then of course Villa could technically win the game; there is no doubt about that. Also I have notice quick attacking transition on PSG. PSG's fluid 4-3-3 and Dembele's central movement created numerical advantage in Villa's midfield.

I have a similar mindset towards this game, I feel predicting who to win will be a problem but gambling on goals or corners kick will be the best option to pick in this game. PSG looks favorite to win this super cup but for me I’m not really impressed by how their pre season games went, we just even saw them playing a 1-1 draw against Manchester United.

Aston villa is always a tricky side to play against, the last time PSG played them, they really caused a lot of problems for the champions of Europe.

After that loss to Chelsea, what happened in the champions league when they had a rematch? They did treat Chelsea to a luxury buffet, scoring a total of 8 goals in a home and away fixture where Chelsea was able to draw back 2 goals from an away side. I didn't have all these results in mind, but they provide very interesting insights into this specific match of the year. Especially the 2025 Paris - Tottenham result is confusing me because that was the season when Tottenham finished 17th in the Premier League. And the other results like City - Sevilla or Bayern - Sevilla demonstrate that this match is not like all the others.

On paper I would instantly say that Paris is the safe winner, but there is perhaps more rotation going on than you would expect? I don't know, I would like to see the line-ups first before betting.
