There are rumors that PSG is set to sign Parma's Japanese goalkeeper, Suzuki. (If such a rumor has surfaced, the transfer is likely to happen soon.)

From my observation, I don't think PSG played at their best against Aston Villa despite taking control of the possession in the game and winning the Super Cup. I actually expected more from them, giving the fact that Aston Villa are not the best right now compared to the previous season after selling off two of their  best players.

I feel that Aston villa brought this upon themselves by not fielding their very best players. You're playing a game where you've never won, but you choose to experiment with seemingly amateur players? This is the fourth Super cup that Unai Emery is losing out on and it's quite embarrassing.

From my analysis and research, it's crystal clear that PSG will be the winner. I don't depend on the bookies odd because we are all humans and can make mistake since no one is perfect. I will bet on PSG to score first and to also win the game. You can bet on Aston Villa if it's sure for you.

I didn’t have to bet on a winner to win my bet, there are other ways and my choice was correct at the end. PSG are an elite team currently but Aston Villa is also a good tough side, so the choice of a winner was a bit dicey for me didn’t want to lose out.

Football is always like that. Sometimes, we don't even get what we expected. I would have really wanted Aston villa to win this one, but they failed. Maybe they lost some valuable players to the transfer market recently, but even at that PSG has been the favourite and is better recently. With there win, they have been able to retain the trophy twice in a row, but the UCL, and that a huge plus for the club and Enrique's side.

Just like ArabBTC mentioned, I don't like it when a club looks like dominating an entire campaign or era. I like it when there full time competition. I wasn't happy seen PSG win the UCL again last season, not at all. Just like I wasn't in support for Argentina to win the would cup, not even France, because they are both the last winners. Spain is manageable, because they won in 2010. I had wanted something new, all the same, it's better that Spain won instead of Argentina or France. If these PSG players go through the same amount of football stress as players in other leagues that they play against in the Champions League go through from the rigorous football schedule and them having to play in most games because of how competitive their league is, it's much more than the French league, where we know PSG has been winning and will win the next season and can afford to have a team that plays in the league games while they keep their top key players fresh and injury-free for the Champions League and other European competitions like this.

If they still struggle against teams whose players have been through a hectic footballing schedule to win games like they did against an Aston Villa without many key players from last season, they will be unable to perform if put through the same schedule.

I doubt they can win the Champions League for the third time and equal Real Madrid's record.

I never doubted Paris saints Germain for once in that match, because I knew they would beat Aston Villa. Indeed, Paris saints Germain dominated in today's match and they played an interesting football . From my observation, I don't think PSG played at their best against Aston Villa despite taking control of the possession in the game and winning the Super Cup. The truth is PSG actually played their best against Aston Villa but why it seems like they didn’t do well is because of the opponent they played Aston Villa and also because of the fact that football is completely unpredictable, if we could easily predict which team to dominate a particular game then the fun of the game would have been lost, the uncertainties in football remains the pride of the game.

In football your opponents game play will actually affect your own game play too, if your opponent plays defensive it could influence the overall outcome, if your opponent is attacking it could also influence the outcome, if your opponent fields amateur players it would also have significant impact in the game, if your opponent is not so good there are chances that even the quality of you the bigger team will drop and the match will look scattered, that is what happened yesterday, if the match against PSG yesterday in the super cup was to be against a team like Man city we would have seen a completely different game play from PSG and even the outcome of the match would have been completely different.

But you know, football changes, and sometimes, we see what we leat expected in some matches. About your doubts if they can win for the third time in a row next season, well, we will all see about that. We don't know for now. Talking about the stress other teams face in other leagues compared to PSG's match schedules, it might be a reason some how, but not completely the reason they have won it twice in a row. Remember that they had even more great players like Messi and Mbappe combined, but they couldn't win it for years. They were only dominating in there France league, but not in Europe. The likes of Beyern Munich and even athletico Madrid, Dortmund were better teams to them in Europe.

What happened to them was just growth. They are playing better and they are very strong. They okay good football, well talented players and a better tactics. I believe Enrique is doing a nice job. So, it's not all about there schedules of matches, it's there strength, pace, power, zeal and resilience that has transformed them to becoming series of champions.

It pains me to see PSG struggling as if the club they are playing a club that have same strength as them last night and is nothing different from what France played in the World Cup, so similar to what PSG displayed. If some players who knows how to cause problems for oppositions was still at the Villa side I don't see PSG getting those runs and flexing the ball like that. It was really an entertaining encounter between them, and I was also surprised that Aston Villa were able to give this PSG team a good fight, since they have sold most of their key players. Their young attacker Madjo is going to do very well this season if he can stay consistent because with such a display from him, they wouldn't miss the goals of Morgan Rogers that much.

After the end of the game it was announced that Luis Enrique is now the most decorated manager in europe, and their captain marquinho is the most decorated player in the history of PSG, so a massive congratulations to them both, because it's not an easy feat to achieve.
