Help with electrum screenshots

I made a thread about passphrases earlier today & I wanted to drop some pics from a mobile wallet but every time I take a screeshot of the page where you generate a seed & add a passphrase it's just a black image in the gallery. I know it's for security but is there any workaround so I can take proper screens? recordings go blank too

That's a feature, not an error.

Electrum mobile is intentionally designed to do that for security reasons.

If you have another phone, try to simply use its camera to take a picture of the first's phone screen.

You could also try and explain or ask whatever you want, people are quite familiar with the wallet, so it's possible that a screenshot is not even necessary in this case.

OS security protecting you from yourself.

Grab a second phone and take an actual photo of the screen. Analog beats OS security every time.

Tap on the circle located at the top right corner of the screen, go to "Preferences" and uncheck "Protect secrets from screenshots" under "Security" section.
After that Electrum will allow you take screenshots, even when the seed phrase is displayed.

I hope that you know the disadvantages of taking screen shot of your seed phrase because it makes your wallet more vulnerable to attack. After screenshot, your seed phrase save in your google drive which can give hackers access to it.

Your seed phrase should be prevented from a third party and taking screen shots of it means the opposite because anyone with your phone can easily access it. Some apps that you download before using it will tell you to allow the app access your phone gallery, such apps can also access your seed phrase. So, be careful.
