The thread keeps merging two things, the selling and the headline. Strategy's sales show up in a filing on Monday for a week already gone, so by the time anyone reads 'Strategy dumps' the coins changed hands days ago and nobody noticed. The headline moved the price. The supply didn't.

Their sales probably happen off the public exchange, which makes them not be noticed in the market or probably the volume is probably not enough to trigger serious market crashes, but when the news comes up, it's not just it that affects the market, but it's the fear which is being planted in those who want who choose to believe what ever the reverse FOMO plans to create that changes the market as they get afraid they panic sell, and the market react to those small sales by those panic sellers/investors put together.

What mostly drives the market is News, of course there could be some massive dump but then you wouldn't noticed it so quickly because news hasn't carry it out so quickly but Immediately news had it up, you began to see those who wouldn't want to wait to know what would happen next they would use fear and began to take profits so quickly without them knowing that after some while the price would get back to the original price, and immediately the news started spreading that is when they started buying back again to replace what they had already dump buying it at cheaper rate.

Strategy is another buy the rumour sell the news, the dude has been announcing his bitcoin sell off for a long time, it's not an institutional move and transactions settled over the counter.
Real institutional move is buying ETF in billions without announcing anything, by the time they filled their bags the price is already going up.
