Berkshire Hathaway has just started spending their gigantic cash pile, which is curious because you'd think they were waiting for a crash by how long they've been letting this grow, yet here we are and they seem to be late to the party. I just read that the average dividend yield for the S&P 500 is the lowest it's ever been at around 1% which is crazy, not sure why any investor would be going for that right now but there's usually still the odd bargain to be found. It does make you feel like something has to give though with all this liquidity floating around and we've not had a crash for a long time, yet we've weathered storms like the Russian attack on Ukraine and now the Iran war. I think the only other disaster that could really trigger a collapse would be China invading Taiwan which would almost definitely cause a global recession (if not a WW3) and Xi Jinping keeps hinting at it.

There is always a time and reason for everything, and for the fact that the Bitcoin market is sluggish now $62k to $65k per BTC, it literally doesn't mean it's gonna remain this way forward. So it takes a discipline person to be able to be patient and wait for the right time when the volatility kicks starts over again, because one thing you need to understand is that it you are going into trading, the likelihood of you losing your money is same as that of you making profits too, because when a market becomes volatile, it's volatility is what works in both ways, as it can make you gain 100x profits and likewise same 100x loses too. I thought of the same thing, the OP actually failed to research on what volatility is all about. You don't even need to be tech savvy or have the biggest understanding of Crypto-currency before you understand that volatility isn't like wanting a good economy then you start to protest against bad government for change.

In my opinion, crypto traders should have other sources of income. Trading is not a trustworthy profession to give daily gains. Therefore, any trader who is depending only on trading to survive might have periodic financial challenges. Most people see it as a side hustle. Anyway, I am aware that there are skillful traders who make more profit than losses. But they are very few.

It is mostly believed that gambling, especially casino games, is determined by luck.But trading is not a luck-based game. Trading requires some level of skill or experience to get the needed outcomes. Those who trade should have basic skills of how the system works.

The days of assets not execution had long gone time ago, there were times where you place order and no liquidity on either cex or dex while your assets stays on order for days without executing. It's a different story now, that's a good sign of growth in the market I can say, at least there are liquidity providers that makes every trades comes through.

I guess you're referring to leverage trading? Otherwise I don't think seeing a 5% volatility is going to motivate some traders to trade daily. Unless they have a lot of money to throw around and the liquidity is deep I guess. Other than that, even if you make profits consistently, less than 5% is too small and fees might eat them. Anyway, I do agree that "boring market" is probably not a reason to discourage experienced traders if they wanted to make profits.

We see AI related companies with a lot of valuation has been having a roller coaster ride, the Space X launching is also making headlines. The global oil industry has been so volatile, thanks to the unending good and bad news done by Trump for the US and by Iran too.
