Well if I may say ​discipline is earned through either experience with the market or you  having knowledge on how the market works, which would give you as an investor a grasp on how to face the market. Still Bitcoin is a volatile asset, and history has proven that no matter how deep Bitcoin falls it has always recovered with time. Recently coldcard wallet was compromised, and a lot of people lost their fortunes in a single moment, this is something they never saw coming.

If you have visited Reddit recently, you see a lot of posts that would almost make you shed tires. A few days ago, I posted about a man who lost two Bitcoin after 8 years of sacrifice and effort spent stacking those bitcoins, this man made a statement that touched me deeply and broke my heart.

Have you seen that after coming to the Bitcoin market, someone who invested in Bitcoin for a long time did not get profit from it? Investing in Bitcoin definitely gives profit, but it requires patience. If someone invested in Bitcoin and lost, it is because he was panicking and thought of getting profit from Bitcoin very quickly, so when the price of Bitcoin was going through a correction, he sold his Bitcoin at a loss and then he is trying again to make profit from Bitcoin. I know that traders are losing but I do not know that bitcoin investors are losing except they sold their coins at the wrong time. If you have money to buy bitcoin and you do not want to sell it for some years, that is when you should invest in bitcoin. If a person hates losing, then he should prepare everything before he venture into Bitcoin investment.  He must gather all the necessary stuff for learning and be smart enough to integrate what he has learned into his actions.  Aside from that, he must always have a fail safe option where he can minimize risk and losses by having multiple plan dependent on how the market move.

An investor should be flexible and not hold on to emotions because of liking the investment too much.  Always be rational and know when to hold and sell for profit.  And if something inevitable is wrong, never blame oneself instead see where the investment went wrong and learn from it.  There is always a new opportunity for those who never give up.

Its normal to experience pain and emotional breakdown after a huge loss, but don't let if affect you for long term. Not because it's the right thing to do, but because you can never win with your investment if you never get rid of your negative emotions that will always hold you back.

I have also gain losses in my initial bitcoin investment, the only difference is, I have already seen it coming that's why I prepare myself for it. That’s why before you invest in bitcoin,  you are suppose to prepare, you should know you are taking risk, and anything can happen. If you are investing in bitcoin, you should try and hold for long term, if you don’t sell your bitcoin when the price is down, then you haven’t lost your money yet, so if you purchase bitcoin, and the price drops, if you don’t sell it’s going to bounce back.

It’s better when we are introducing people to bitcoin investment, we should tell them about the risk involved in it, so that they will be prepared. I don't think it's an easy thing to say if you're the one who lost the Bitcoin.. for example, like the Coldcard incident, there are so many people who lost their assets that they collected for a long time.. many of them are so stressed because their assets are just gone and can't be returned.

The good thing about bitcoin investment is having the chance to determine our profit or loss, if an investor should say they experience loss all the time probably they should consider replanning because a good buying strategy cannot fall in value especially when being patience with the market. The way to go is using what you can afford to lose and still be calm, be you a bitcoin trader or an investor.  Losing huge money is dangerous to our emotions because it can lead to greed and a loss recovery trading pattern which obviously would lead to more losses because the trader would stop sticking to his principles, management risks strategies.
