IMPORTANT WALLET UPDATE

All existing Ruble Core users, miners and node operators are strongly recommended to update to:

before the upcoming Ruble network upgrade.

Deployment work for the next stage of the Ruble network, including merged-mining support, is planned to begin on:

The upgrade path from the previous public Ruble Core wallet to v1.0.0rc7 has been tested using an existing encrypted wallet with an existing balance.

The new wallet successfully opened the existing wallet data, preserved the balance, unlocked the encrypted wallet, created new addresses and successfully created and confirmed a transaction.

You do NOT need to create a new wallet or move your RUB.

Before updating:

• Close the old Ruble Core using File → Exit.
• Install or launch Ruble Core v1.0.0rc7.
• Open your existing wallet normally.
• Verify your balance and blockchain synchronization.

DO NOT delete wallet.dat or your Ruble Core data directory.

RUBLE CORE WALLET UPDATE — v1.0.0rc7

Important update for existing Ruble Core users

A new Ruble Core wallet version is now available.

All users, miners and node operators are strongly recommended to update to Ruble Core v1.0.0rc7 before the upcoming network upgrade planned to begin on August 20, 2026.

The upgrade path from the previous public Ruble Core wallet has been tested successfully.

An existing encrypted wallet with an existing balance was opened by the new version successfully. The balance, wallet encryption and existing wallet data were preserved. A new address was created and a transaction was successfully created and confirmed after the upgrade.


HOW TO UPDATE — WINDOWS

1. Make a backup of your wallet.

2. Close the old Ruble Core using:

File → Exit

3. Wait approximately 10–20 seconds for Ruble Core to shut down completely.

4. Download the new official wallet:

5. Windows users can download:

ruble-core-v1.0.0rc7-win64-setup.exe

6. Run the installer normally.

You do NOT need to delete the old wallet before installation.

7. Start Ruble Core after installation.

Your existing wallet, addresses and balance should open automatically.

Verify that your balance is correct and allow the blockchain to synchronize normally.


IMPORTANT

DO NOT delete wallet.dat.

DO NOT delete your Ruble Core data directory.

DO NOT create a new wallet just because you are updating the software.

DO NOT move your RUB to another address for this update.

Your existing wallet remains your wallet.


WINDOWS PORTABLE USERS

If you use the Portable version:

Close the old Ruble Core completely, download:

extract it into a new folder and run:

ruble-qt.exe

Your existing Ruble Core wallet data will continue to be used.
