Gamblers are left with no choice, you wouldn't want to sacrifice $11,000 because you don't want to pass KYC verification, well played online casinos, well played, there is no turning back once you played into their hands.

This is why it's crucial to always find out if a online casino will ask for KYC verification for any reasons, if they can't tell you a dime it's better to find people who are using the casino so get information from them.

That's where this forum comes in, you can easily ask anyone in here for such information, unless the online casino isn't available on this forum, if it's available you will see people who have already withdraw more than once on the casino before.

What I am trying to say is that you could ask people who are using a site and most times they would tell you that they have never been asked to submit anything, but then when you decide to give the site a try, you would get treated differently. The whole "suspicious activity" isn't clearly stated in their ToS, so you really can't tell what is going to trigger the KYC.

Yes, that's true. For a scammy online gambling site, they will probably hide it in their terms and conditions. While an honest one will probably send an email to the users and require level 1 KYC at the very least. That's what Stake.com did. In fact, they even offered a bonus amount for those who pass KYC. This is not just for the security of the users but also to follow the rules of the government they are in. It's what must be done to continue the service.
I didn't have a problem with that, and the bonus was really inviting. They used a good marketing strategy to keep their customers.

The actual issue may not actually be the KYC itself but how a casino chooses to introduce it. If a casino clearly states their KYC requirements in their ToS from the start, then it’ll enable users to make an informed choice. The main issue is when the casinos fail to make the rules clear enough for everyone to see or a player only gets to figure out about the KYC requirements only when they’re trying to make withdrawals. If there’s transparency from the casino, then KYC wouldn’t be such a bad thing after all, cos a player would get to choose whether to use their services or not.

Sometimes these casinos can play funny and find ways to defend themselves just to avoid paying players. I've seen some casinos bring up certain hidden rules that were never clearly stated in their terms and conditions. They might have a vague phrase in their terms, and when a player asks about it, instead of explaining what actually happened, they use that phrase as a reason to remove the player's privileges. The worst part is that some casinos can even go as far as freezing your account. It takes time to find casinos that genuinely treat their players fairly because many of the casinos we see today are not always what they claim to be.

What we must settle with within us is that, any casino that is license whatever you do just be careful and operate with the limits set for basic no KYC level account, because the moment your transactions trenchold exceed the minimal for none KYC accounts, you may get you account flagged and be asked for KYC.
Most crypto casino stipulate around $5000 for no KYC so anytime you exceed that minimal and your account is not KYC verified, you should expect to get notifications for your verification.

To be honest, I understand that newcomers who have just started playing might be surprised by this information, but it strikes me as odd when experienced players react the same way. After all, if someone has spent countless hours in the game yet fails to grasp that casinos have withdrawal limits, perhaps they should take the time to study the rules more closely or consult with fellow players to better understand these nuances. For me, these concepts have long been second nature mere basics but that isn't even the most important thing; what truly matters is that a player strives to learn and improve. If they do that, such fundamental details won't come as a surprise to them.

It's true that for an average citizens, submitting your KYC on a crypto casino might not be an issue at all, unlike if you are an important person in the society, like a politician who has interest in gambling, but due to the nature of his job as a public servant, and can't gamble, then you will understand the need why most people always advocate for the ability to be able to gamble, deposit and withdraw at ease without having an issue at all. And sometimes, this issue about KYC is a second medium through which some casinos scam it's users, whereby they will intentionally deprive them of their winning, request for KYC, and even after it has been completed, still deny them access to their funds too.

It's possibl, I just think for such casino to flagged an account with such requests, there must be something they see especially when it has something to do with consumer protection and money laundering. If the casino received deposit from a user and they suspect you of the money, they might ask for reason for funds, that's the worst case I have seen for an already kyc account. Any requests for kyc is just manipulation from the casino in my opinion.

I have a casino where I do bet, they hardly lock your money for any reason but they ask for kyc. If they suspect your account of anything, they are not going to ask for any details, they will ask you to withdraw your funds from the casino and after some days, they will permanently ban the account from their casino. A time frame will be stipulated on your account which you must comply. I prefer this than locking users funds for nothing.

How about a situation when the casino has a KYC policy but doesn't enforce it for years of operation? Withdrawals and deposits work just fine, which many players mistake for no KYC casinos, and spread the news to others, but some bow due to regulatory demand. They decide to demand compulsory KYC verification for all. How will you explain such a situation? Is the casino changing the policy or implementing what they always have?

How about a situation when the casino has a KYC policy but doesn't enforce it for years of operation? Withdrawals and deposits work just fine, which many players mistake for no KYC casinos, and spread the news to others, but some bow due to regulatory demand. They decide to demand compulsory KYC verification for all. How will you explain such a situation? Is the casino changing the policy or implementing what they always have?
Of course they’re obviously just implementing what’s already in their terms, and no one can blame them for doing so, the most important thing is that they have already included it in their policies and so it’s all on the user for assuming that just because the casino hasn’t been implementing it for a long time, that it automatically means the casino is non KYC. That’s not even a case, because the rules are clearly stated.

The reason why I asked the question was because I have seen people who complained about how unfair a casino has been to them because of KYC. Why were they the ones who did not take their time to read and know that the policy has always been theirs? They didn’t just pay attention to it; instead of taking full responsibility for their own mistake, they would push blame to the casino as if they had hard ill plans all along.

How can you possibly find out when it's not written anywhere? The thing is that most of this casinos that claims they are no KYC are saying the truth but there are some situation they will find themselves they will be forced to request for KYC details. It's just like sometimes a casino will see a new login notification from a different IP meanwhile the account has a particular Ip address they normally use. and if they eventually hit a huge amount of money from that new IP address the casino might be feeling that something fishy is going on so what they do is to request for KYC details to see if truly it's the owner of the account that made the wining, this is the only reason why some no KYC casinos later turn to KYC casino.

I don't think it would be fair or correct to act as if the casino we decided to play on deceived us or fooled us because they ask for our documents in the moment when decided to withdraw such a huge amount of money like 11k dollars.
In the end, we are asked to accept and declare we have read their terms of service when we first decide to create our accounts on their casino.
If anyone, we re the ones guilty for not reading the terms of service and just rushing to join onto casinos with no clue on their policy on KYC/AML. And let us be honest, the majority of people have never read the ToS of their favorite casino, they just assume things and take them for granted.

While it is true that there are some people who are negligent of the terms and conditions of the gambling platform, only for them to come back and then start to blame the platform for any mishaps.

You should also note that there are some that visibly promote their site as a "no-KYC" platform while still having such kind of phrase in their ToS.

That type of casino promoting themselves as no KYC is popular around here, and I have been among many members who have questioned them. I don’t agree with casinos using such a tactic. At the same time, we gamblers should not also believe everything we are being told during promotions; we should verify that information ourselves before. we agree with them, in such a case I can say is using a misleading statement to run promotion while the gambler is lazy enough not to cross check the policy if it align with what they preach.

If the casino actually uses a misleading statement in their promotion and then a gambler comes out to complain about the deceit, do you think it would still be okay to blame the gambler for not confirming before using the platforms?

There are so many things we do not confirm before using and we really can't check everything because we have other things to do in real life so sometimes you just have to trust the site to be sincere.

Of course, the term "No KYC" is misleading. I'd even say that in most cases, it's downright deceptive. A casino may not require KYC for withdrawals, and in most cases, this is precisely what happens. But KYC itself shouldn't be a disaster for a player, as most gambling sites are regulated. Without verification, the site becomes a convenient hub for money laundering, and soon, law enforcement will be raising a lot of questions. I view "No KYC" more as annoying marketing hype.

You don't need to check absolutely everything, but you should check the most important things. If you know that you are going to deposit a large amount of money, then you should definitely check whether the exchange requires KYC. If you don't mind that and you're comfortable going through whatever KYC procedures they require, that's a completely different matter. But if you care about your privacy, that's something you need to think about in advance.
