Cultisms in the society who are to be blame: parents, government or environment

The issue of cultisms is becoming a really bad worry for the society at large. Using the case of what happened at Ignatius Ajuru University of Education Iwofe as a case study. Who actually are to be blame for it. Be it parents, government or environment. Because long before now there has been called for people to shun cultisms activities which is not producing the desire outcome. So both the parents, government and environment has all contributed to this issue which needs to be tackled collectively.

Parents: Poor parental supervision, lack of discipline, neglect, and failure to communicate with children can make young people vulnerable to cult groups. Parent's also sees there child/children behavior wrongly publicly both instead of calling them to order concluded that after all it's not only there own child/children that's misbehaving and some parents are even proud since there children carrying out activities as members of a cult group in the society

Government: Weak security, unemployment, poor education, corruption, and inadequate youth programs can create conditions in which cultism grows. Still on this, most security agencies and officers have misplaced priorities focusing more on monetary gains than the actual job of protecting live and properties which is making people to loss faith in them.

Environment/Society: Peer pressure, bad friendships, violence, poverty, and communities where cultism is tolerated can influence young people to join. A person watching his age mates taking his belongings and leaving him vulnerable to exploitation might see joining a cult group as the best solution to avoiding further intimidation and rather be able to intimidate other.

So some people join cult group because they feel is the easiest way out of intimidation, oppression and hunger. But if these three organs mentioned above collectively work effectively cultisms can be drastically reduced to a very great level.

No one to be blamed than yourself, avoid evil association because this is one of the easiest way to get into such group, government are not the one responsible for this neither are your parents supporting anyone to go into cultism, more than 90% of those found in this are being influenced by their friends, know who you move with and try to avoid some unhealthy gathering or settings where you know you don't really belongs, there is no pride in all these dambard influence and corrupt manners those in it are doing.

Cultism was aimed at social inclusion and protection of a group of people against tribalism, injustice and to promote social moral standards in the learning environment (university precisely) without being violent but it is very sad that the modern day cultism is not geared towards all these things I mentioned. The modern day cultism is now about supremacy, who leads in the campus and oppression to other students even without a provocation. Partially agree with you. You know why? Environment matters a lot. The different yu train a child is liable to affect who the child becomes in the future, irrespective of the home training you give that child.

Have you ever asked yourself why children in ghetto areas go into cultism easily? The hood affects them individually because it is what they see on a daily basis, the friends they keep around the hood. When we use the term cult that doesn't necessarily mean it is bad and harmful for the society, it is just different from the usual thing from the perspective of the general public. But you have free will right? If you see the group of people is doing good for others than it is fine to be a part of it, or better avoid any kind of association with them. Everyone has there own share of fault here parents, government and the society. You can't put the blame on just one side. The parents need to pay more attention to their kids. Government needs to create jobs and make sure people feel safe and the society needs to stop looking the other way when these things happen. Cultism grows when young people feel like they have no other choice and they need to feel among. Give them better options and the problem will massively disappear. It is just about everyone doing their part so young people don't feel like they have to join these groups just to survive or feel protected. We cannot directly call cultisms bad. Cultisms are of two types namely - public welfare cultisms and harmful cultisms.
Basically these cultisms are very harmful to the society where we can question the society and the security system of the country. I do not want to associate the names of their parents with the members of these organizations.

In this part there are some organizations which work secretly in the service of the people. This can be a factor that contribute to a child up bringing, children need to be trained at their earliest stage of life and if they miss that basic foundation they could learn the wrong way from the society.

Cultism is the combination of multiple factors, including family influence, failures of institutions, economic conditions and also the social environment.how But I think personal responsibility is also a major factor that can be included in it. Government and parents can provide the necessary amount of guidance and opportunities, but it is the responsibility of the individual to decide whether he wanted to be a part of these groups or not.
Because of unemployment, poverty in security and pressure, people are becoming very vulnerable, and they can easily be a part of these groups, but any sort of problem can never justify violence in any form. Cults have existed throughout human history. Many if not most have been relatively benign but there are always 'bad ones' that are led by folks that have visions of grandure and revel in taking advantage of weak willed folks 'looking for answers'. It needs to be pointed out that all of the major religions today like Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, etc all started out as cults. They just became popular enough to become mainstream religions.

The only thing different these days is that mass-media knows cults are a great source of attention for grabbing eyeballs to make money so they publisize anything they pickup on them.

We sometimes make the mistake of looking for one person or the other to blame for cultism which is not supposed to be. Someone environment can influence them but it does not decide who they become. A person can grow around cultism and bad influence and still choose a different path. Though we can’t pretend those conditions have no effect on the choices people make.

What worries me more is when young people start seeing cultism as one of the few ways to gain respect, protection or sense of belonging. At that point, telling them to make the right choice may not even solve much.

You nailed it, maybe some people don't know that cultism can not be attributed to choice alone, some persons never thought that they will be cultist but peer group pressure can be overwhelming, there are kids that come from rich homes that got initiated into that shit why because they have friends that are into the dirty game and got influenced along the line, home training matters but not also enough, parents should make sure they pay unexpected visit to their children in school and also try to know the family background of the friends their children keep, children are easily convinced to take wrong decisions but find it uneasy to back out from those decisions.

I'm talking from my passed experience during my university days, because we don't have to blame parents or government but sometimes time environment that will might found ourselves can be misleading and apart from the environment influence but the highest place i have witnessed some people that join cultisms by influence of their friends, keeping bad friends in high school has changed the mindset of so many youths, why most people are forced to join without their concept and why some people willing join due to bully in school by a cultist and he can decide to join them or join the high cult, just stop  those cultist from bullying him in campus.

If really permits every one within the forum to honestly speak their mind, you will understand that frustration cause why so many belong to this secret cult and even since i was my father advised me never to join and once i join is the day i used my hands to dig my grave from the moment i finally joined, so from the day i do avoid associating myself with people that i know that long to secret cult because i knew that once i start keeping such friends around me, i can join without even knowing how, so best way is avoid totally.

Peer pressure is strong on teenagers. Back then, in my university days, I had lodgers pressured into joining a cult. Not by choice but by force. The luck I had was that someone who knew my family told them to avoid forcing me into joining a cult. He was literally one of their member. The few persons staying in the lodge were forced in. So situations matter a lot. The environment and the friends you keep play a major role in this. Some of them were deceived into going out with a friend without knowing it was a means to force them into cultism.

It seems like cultism is part of human nature because it's everywhere. As for being a cultist, it doesn't mean anything because people love to just belong to a gang that shares the same goal. Killing is a personal decision and not what the cult will tell you to do. Some people who are deadly and love doing evil things decided to become a cultist in order to mask their evil deeds on the cult group. Nobody is to be blamed but the evil doer.
