Honestly, playing like that is really entertaining, especially with the mix of emotions we experience with every bet placed. However, I think that can only be done with a mutual agreement regarding whatever might happen, and there will be no issues if everyone has reached an agreement.

So, have you ever done the same thing ?

this is the place that I am concern about gambling I know very well that in gambling what that causes problem if two or four persons join to gamble together what causes the problem in the sharing formula if they happen to win, so sometimes some people get degrade and that is one of the challenges that stop many people know to involve him group gambling, but if they have a mutual agreement and keep greed out of it they can be able to do where in gambling because of collective ideas, I know very well that and gambling there are many things that is involved which if the mistakenly lose it may cause a problem between each other based on the idea of someone among them that lead to the loss of the gambling

Playing like that is truly so much fun until one of you starts getting greedy and begins blaming the other for the losses. There have been so many incidents like this, where two friends end up arguing over the losses or huge wins they have experienced. Fortunately, at that time you and your friend were able to understand the limits and only gambled for fun; otherwise, that gambling might have been the last thing you ever did together.

I don't know how you guys came to the decision to pull funds together to gamble, It's weird to me because. Casino games being something entirely of luck does not require this type of approach, it would have been better and more fun to play individually to see if luck will be on the side of one of you. Even if I visit physical casino, I will still prefer to play individual games and not group pulling funds together.

The made the decision as a team and they agreed to play together as a team that means they already decided to take the risk together so that if they get favored by the outcome they will all have an equal share of the profit but if they lose then they will share the loss since they all agreed before going to gamble. Some people prefer individual gambling just like you have said but you can't compare the fun you will get when you gamble with friends it's always fun though.

Me, and my friends once pooled our money to place bets on a casino site, looking for some entertainment during our spare time. Initially, we just wanted to hang out like anyone else, but then one of us suggested pooling our funds for betting. We all agreed to go for it, and we certainly got our entertainment, even though we ended up blowing through our entire bankroll. Maybe, it was my first and last time doing something like that.   

Fortunately this ends well because usually when money is collected from several people to gamble then the results do not end well because there are always those who are not satisfied with the defeat but you and your friends are doing very well because even though this is risky but you end up with a good thing even though the money runs out but the relationship is still maintained.

Doing something like this is a big risk for a split and I once felt it when there was a miss of communication between me and a friend who made our relationship tenuous just because of the wrong gambling with the collected shared money.
So now I prefer to gamble alone without involving others and without other people's money being used because the risk is related to the bond that has been lived no matter with family, friends or the closest people everything will be tenuous when there is wrong communication when gambling using the money collected

Lucky it ended well ,I don't think it's a nice idea and truthfully speaking I can't do such or advice anyone to involve in such, I'm wondering what even made you guys to think of such ,that is a huge risk that may sometime results to conflict,it's better it's been done individually than what you guy did ,buy y'all need to be very careful in order to avoid troubles,I know it can be fun ,but it's answer risky considering is betting.

I haven't done this before and I don't really plan to. There's always risk of disagreements or even getting scammed, especially if the agreement is only verbal. Even if you're pooling money with friends or people you know, things can get complicated once significant amount of money is involved.

If it's just small amount, maybe it's not big deal but if we're talking about $100 or more I'd rather just bet with my own money.

The only situation where I'd consider pooling bet is for certain promotions that require minimum bet. For example, if we pool $200 to qualify for $50 free bet, then agree beforehand to split the winnings from the freebet if it wins. Cases like that could make sense to me.

How did you all handle it though ? Played in turn  or just put the money on a couple of bets at a go and hope for the best? Because I know if it’s the first scenario and you guys didn’t play in turn then you can an individual can end up blowing up the entire money..

If it’s the second then that makes even more sense and yes I can contribute to that .. and of course I can also agree to that if we are visiting a land based casino. Anything beyond that, I’m out  .

Yes, I also experience pooling funds to gamble.  Having our friends bet with us really makes the difference.  The excitement and fun are elevated to the next level because we have someone to enjoy the moment with.

And at the same time, we can't fell the disappointment because in this situation those who pooled fund will just laugh it off and make plans to do the same things again because it gives more fun and entertainment.

Well bro i think sometimes the activity itself is not worth a penny but when you do it with your good friends it became interesting and a beautiful experience and also a memory that you can remember whole life. I also have same experiences and memories with my friends too where the main purpose was never the money but simply like spending time together and having fun while enjoying those little moments. Also during gambling emotions changes a lot and if someone is with friends it will be a proper joy whether the  person is losing or winning a bet. U also mentioned that it's your first and maybe last time and i think that's will be ur right decision because sometimes a person finding those emotions that he/she experience on first time and in search of those emotions they became addicted to it.

Even though you did not provide us with substantial amount of information regarding the kind of bets you placed and what made it fun, I still understand what you mean by gambling for entertainment with the mix of emotion. Experience like this are sometimes important because these are the memories we'll have when things get rough or out of hand. In as much as the experience is good, it's always advisable to gamble responsibly because in the process of trying to have some fun you might accidentally force yourself to awake something that has been trapped(greed).

It takes mature minds to agree to pooling funds together just for entertainment, make losses and laugh about it without any alterations or disagreement at the end of the day.
Even though I haven't tried this yet, the closest I have indulged in that bears similarities to this scenario of pooling funds to gamble, is pooling funds to trade. I had more of the funds and less knowledge at the time, while my friend had less funds, had the account and the vast of knowledge in trading.
We lost still but we remained friends even though I vowed never to try such again because I didn't even know what he was doing but that is different from gambling because I believe before the friends agreed to pool their funds together to gamble, they all had to play at once or took turns to have a feel of the game and that's a more entertaining way to spend money together instead of only one person having all the fun while the others watch as spectators.

And I still ask, of what benefit is this in reality? For me the disadvantages outweigh the advantages which is why I don't consider such idea necessary. If I want to play game, I rather play alone, manage my money as I want and bear the losses alone without apportioning blames to anyone. Even if we are gambling together, it will only be that we are playing the same game from different device or machine. Other people may fine the idea interesting but I don't.

They tried their luck and couldn't do much, but they had a different kind of time and enjoyed themselves, which is what matters most in the end. I'd say this serves as a lesson for them to do something fun, and fortunately there were no problems between them. But normally, with money, it's not good to do things like that, because someone might end up dissatisfied with how much money they spent at the casino. It could have happened; in your case it wasn't, but it's something that shouldn't be done again.

I stopped combining money to bet with friends. I don't want a situation where, when we eventually win a big amount, it becomes a challenge trying to share the money won. It is fun when a dispute is avoided.

so I know very well that it's always be good when you are gambling with your friends especially your friends that I have understanding like as I said before that if you are cooperating with a friends that I have understanding it is good to gamble with them and the gambling with them is like a catching fun, but if each other does not understand itself it will make us a problem when you people loses especially if you contributed money with your friends to gamble, why I'm saying this is because I've seen where it caused a problem between friends so I think that it can be only be successful when difference no themselves from origin and none of them is greedy when it comes for money, it will be good and also rememberable if all this are not associated with it like example be greedy, so it is the only fact that can make group gambling to be good is whereby there is no greediness among the friends

I have never gambled with friends, I gamble alone on my own decision. However, from what OP said, I understand that all the friends get together and pool a little money from everyone and everyone sits together to gamble, which will make the fun even more enjoyable. However, I think it is not possible for everyone to have such friends because if there are five friends, three of them do not have the same opinion or mentality. Therefore, the enjoy of gambling can be entertainment much more than on other days when all the friends get together and sit together.

It’s not advisable to gamble with a friends, because no mater how long you take it will later bring a issues between you and the friends, I know that gamble in a pool is good since it can be so entertain and fun, but not every friends can do as like others. Because some people are not good in prediction, and assuming now out of the six people that are bet in a pool three out six are not turn up like others you see that they will be a problem.

But if it happen that everyone are very good in the game and prediction all their decisions will be valuable to each other, because that’s will make the bet to be so vibes and fun enough to keep all the friends together in the future betting.

I’ve been involved with office pools for lottery drawings, but typically I think pooling money for gambling is a bad idea. It could be fun I guess as long as everyone trusted each other, but I could also see certain people making it a miserable experience if they felt like winnings weren’t adding up to expectations.

Pooled money is a good method to play the lottery and I've already seen many people winning the prize that way, which even though is splitted among different hands, it's still quite profitable after all. Of course there must be always an agreement on how the money must be used, and everyone must accept the consequences of their choices. By gambling pooled money, they are gambling collectively, so the decision isn't made individually, but by the whole group of gamblers.

In as much it is fun. We should also be careful. The supposed agreement should cover more than just pooling funds together to bet. What about agreement of what is shared if one wins. Things like that. I am not saying your friend can't be trusted. But it is better to be on the safe side. I have seen money issue spoil friendship than any other thing I know.

With all the risk, one should also be careful so your risk appetite don't change after the bet when one starts thinking more bet can be placed after a loss.

True, it is more important to have fun and be together than to worry about bet outcome. If it is just an attempt to new entertainment then satisfaction will occur, even if the initial investment is not recouped. But, if not taken care of at the early stage, the harmony between the parties can easily be disturbed by the problem of money. Taking this event as one off is very sensible approach as preventative measure. It is always important to set personal commitment limit, as that is the best measure to protect financial stability.
