No, but you will get a lot of troubles specially the legality and jurisdiction or countries that require online casinos to have at least a license. So it's going to be very hard for your casino to operate without one.

And as much as we love casinos that doesn't require us KYC, this is no longer an era wherein we just needed a Bitcoin deposit and withdrawal address.

The treatment of customers hiding their privacy is what matters a lot, the ability of your gambling site to stay private thus will determine the trust you will be having towards customers to use your platform.

If you want customers to patronize your site, license your platform, if you don't want enough customers, do not go for license. The choice is yours to take.

On a global scale this means you crossing a lot of red tape , and the casino wouldn't survive for long because of anti money laundering inquires, jurisdiction licence inquiries etcetera and this could invite legal action to be taken against you..

Btw, question should be: do game providers need crypto casino's to have a licence for your clients to have access to an extensive library of games, unless you intend  to only offer in-house games ?

And honestly with the No KYC ,the least you can do is a license to show you answer to someone should you error and this in turn gives some sense of security to players ** theoretically speaking**

yes it require license so if you are trying to have a good casino in this platform I only advise you to make sure that is operate by license, because there are some casinos that operate with that license and the main reputable people does not like top patronize them because they see such a casino like I got to know who have another motive to operate, if you want your casino to have enough traffic neither it is none kyc casino or not make sure that it operate with license and that will make people to have Motors and also but they lie on it partially, but I don't know why most of the casino owners does not like their casino to operate with license and for me I am seeing such that does not operate with the license as illegal kind of casino

I have seen seen freebitco.in come up without a license and they were able to provide a decent service for years before they eventually decided to ruin everything with their own hands, so if you’re coming without a license know that the skepticism that would be directed towards your site would be more than when you launch it with a license. You would have to work your ass off to be able to gather enough reputation to help you get the momentum to do something good. But, if you are serious about it you should be able to do it but if you can go for the license then do that instead, it all depends on your vision.

It really depends but generally yes if you want to operate on a given country.

A gambling corporation/platform needs to secure the necessary license in order to do business in the Philippines. Should you fail to acquire the said license, then any kind of legal issue would render you incapable of having any kind of legal personality to sue.
This would mean that any person who has a legal issue against your platform can sue you but you cannot sue in return should you encounter one in the future.

Lastly, having the necessary license also protects your company in any kind of potential legal issue in the future even if you operate a NO-KYC feature. At the end, it’s better safe than sorry!

It looks like we'll start operating in a few countries first until we find trusted contacts who can handle licensing in areas I haven't explored yet. The system we've built is already very robust and flexible; we just need a few additional licenses, including the ones you mentioned. However, we don't want to wait until those are complete before launching. Our plan is to operate first in areas where we already have licenses.

Casino company has been running for months is no proof that it is something that safe and trustworthy. An illegal operation can be on for plenty year before people start to notice any serious problems with it.

License doesn’t necessarily make a casino or a gambling platform secured, there are lots of platforms out there with legitimate licenses but at the end of the day they ended up being a scammy site.

There is a little bit of a contradiction there, if you think about it. If you get a license, it is very likely you will get pushed by your license issuer and regulators to comply with full KYC/AML when handling your clients.

If you are aiming your brand to be associated with non-KYC then you will eventually have to apply it, because regulators may force you once you get a high enough volume.

Keep in mind the biggest casinos on the internet, both Fiat and Crypto actually comply with KYC and they stay on the top of the market.
