I will very much like to know what 'basic writing skills' in this context means and what the supposed improvements entails because there is very little to go on with what was written there.

- "I did a quick analysis of your content and it seems to be stuck in a loop."

- "I looked at your posts and it seems like you're repeating what you said the day before."

- "Browsing through your posts, it feels like I'm having a "déjà vu"."

- "Reading your posts, it seems like you had returned to the conversation."

Did you notice anything in common in these sentences?
They all indicate the same feeling I had: some of your posts seem to return to the same point, without really moving forward.

Perhaps it's worth reviewing your recent participation and asking yourself if you are actually developing the discussion or simply repeating yourself.

using myself as an example, if i were short on merits and had to choose between sending one to JJG or to someone who could benefit from it (for whatever reason) then JJG loses and the other guy gets it. and pretty sure JJG wont care one way or another, thats if he even notices.
I guess that makes sense. The thing is, I think there's a lot of alt account farming going on certain local boards, and that meriting habit fits the M.O.

That may be cherry picking it a little bit, no?
Is it? I don't know. I was merely sharing my opinion/speculation on what could be the reason he got that comment (and how he could improve his posts).

By the way, I can understand his posts too, but they are not pleasant to read. And tbh, if he was active in the same boards/topics I am, I would probably just skip his posts and not even bother reading them.

The forum is English only except for local boards and there are many people here who English is not their first language, some of who have actually improved their writing and reading through regular communications here which I believe is one of the big positives of the forum.

Their posts might be readable, but it takes some effort to make sense of what they are trying to say with all the non sequiturs and full sentences that are really long walls of text. That’s not even mentioning the substance, which is honestly the same ideas we’ve heard countless times.

From the very beginning of their post history they were already posting in all the merit farming threads. I consider these accounts to be worse than gambling board posters because the farmed merit that they have earned will go on to be circulated among other dubious accounts.

@nutildah I will appreciate it if you cleared me on this because I haven't seen anything wrong with my posting and would like to know why I was banned.

As far as the writing skills part is concerned, yeah you should try to form actual sentences, demarcated by a period instead of a comma. Then you can use the comma for what its actually for, which is breaking up long sentences. This makes your posts easier to read and understand.

Here's an example. This is the original post:

It will be more to their advantage if they do, the truth is that the more people trust a casino the more they are likely to gamble with them and if a new casino can prove that they can pay winnings then people will be more likely to want to gamble with them than not, with the way new casino are crashing, with some of them even being scams and we've seen recently in this forum it stands to reason that people will easier gamble with a casino that they know can pay then one they aren't sure about.

After removing repetitive wording, fixing grammar and adding appropriate punctuation:

Quote
It will be more to their advantage if they do. The truth is that the more people trust a casino, the more likely they are to gamble with them. With the way new casinos are crashing - some of them even being scams - it stands to reason that people would rather gamble with a casino that they know can pay than one they aren't sure about.

These aren't the real issues behind your sigban, but it helps to have an idea of what clean sentence structure looks like. The real issue is what is actually being said, which is not much at all. The majority of your posts don't really express anything that hasn't been stated hundreds or thousands of times. You aren't offering original takes on the given subject of conversation and continually repeat the same ideas.

Its hard to argue making such conversation adds much in the way of value to the forum, even when you're posting in threads surrounded by accounts that are practically doing the same thing.

In all sincerity, I suggest you take this time to develop your writing and perhaps more thoroughly research one of the subjects you write about on a weekly basis. Come back with new information to share and some new perspectives, which you will be able to more sufficiently express thanks to your recently improved writing skills.

Thanks for pointing that out, if it was just about punctuations then I would have called you biased since I've seen posts from writers that are way worse.
Hopefully by your standards, my posting will improve with time.
