This is true, some people read the situation completely wrong and make the wrong links. From the indications in your post the message is that you are after fast money and the experience for those persons who come to the internet platforms in a bid for fast money usually becomes scammers victims. Their urge for making fast money does not allow them to critically examine any proposed opportunity presented to them, no researching or questioning, just deep dive to later realise they have been scammed.

The possibility of an investor who bought tokens during ICO or IDO to make 1000x profit as before is very low, I don't want to do free ads for any project but there is this AI meme token that completed its initial coin offering on July 2026, each token was sold for $0.0001 in the IDO, they listed the token this month and it's trading at around $0.000107. If it were before, the token might still be pumping during first early week of it being listed on exchange. So, you have to deal with it, altcoins is not as before.

I think it's wise to buy Bitcoin and hold instead of wanting an investment that can make you millions of dollars over a short period of time, the chance of being that lucky wirh those kind of quick profit investment is very slim and the risks are attached to them are usually much.

The money tap wasn't turned off, you just don't have enough knowledge as to how to make the money. In as much as you are here complaining about things not working out well for you, there are persons who are actively making fortune from the current economy and I'm not talking about those doing it illegally. During this time the "smart money" doesn't take risks and it definitely doesn't go into stock market even if at certain times it may look appealing.
