I got this idea from Krogothmanhattan and thought I would also give back to the BTC Forum Community. The local coin store I deal with had some Goldbacks so I decided to run a Free Raffle for all to enjoy.

THIS RAFFLE IS FOR THE $1 WYOMING GOLDBACK

The raffle is simple, correctly guess the last two digits that appear in the serial number for the Goldback and you win.

Numbers range from "00 to 99"

1 entry per member and no newbies. Your account must be older than 90 days.

If the correct digits are not selected, the person closest without going over wins.

Shipping is to US addresses only.

Raffle Ends 8/23/26 @ 8PM EST.

And quick question from a non-US person: Are these goldback "notes" official tender and are they something most people in the US are aware of?
This one is a Wyoming note - does every state produce them and are they created by an official entity?

They are created by Goldback Inc. and are not official government-issued legal tender. Only a few states currently have their own official series, and you do have to find vendors who are willing to accept them as payment. That said, their popularity is definitely growing—especially here in Florida. My local coin store had a large stash of them just a few weeks ago, and today they’re almost completely sold out.
