You can fake a picture, and you can fake a name. A timbre is harder: it is the exact shade of a sound, the part no filter can add and no copy can borrow. A struck fork rings true or it does not — and every listener can tell the difference. Timbre (TMB) is a proof-of-work network judged the same way: no one gets a head start, the rules are fixed before the first block, and the only sound that matters is the honest work of miners, audible to anyone who checks the ledger.

Ⅲ · HOW THE NOTE IS STRUCKTimbre is mined with the CPU already inside your machine. RandomX is memory-hard, which keeps the field level: rented GPU farms and ASICs hold no real edge, and the wallet ships with a built-in miner, so starting is a matter of a few clicks.

Ⅴ · QUESTIONS, ANSWERED PLAINLY- Why RandomX? It is memory-hard, so a rented ASIC or GPU farm cannot outrun an ordinary CPU by an unfair margin.
- Is there a premine? No. Zero. The first block was mined the same way as any later block.
- Is there an ICO or a sale? No. There is no token sale of any kind.
- Who controls the network? The miners. Rules are in the open-source code, and the ledger is public.
- What does the explorer show? Blocks, difficulty, and issued supply — all live, all checkable.
