I think there are plenty of threads on football and the various leagues because football is one of the most popular sports in the world – with all due respect to its critics. Obviously, if you’d prefer to start a thread for every tennis event or every Formula 1 race, you’re free to do so; it remains to be seen how many people will post in them, but if it’s worth it, it’s only right to start them and get discussions going.
Non football fans or lovers won’t ever understand how these things work, but if they can just develop little interest in football, they will understand why there are different threads of different football leagues. When you come to the forum and see the thread of your league or the league you have interest in, and see people that share same interest in them, it gives you the opportunity to discuss what is happening in your domestic league.
It makes you develop more interest in knowing what is the latest developments in the league. There are different threads of various sports created here in this section of the forum, but they are not as active as football threads that’s why we don’t see them that much, because only a few people have interests in them. So even if they create more it will still be the same.
Football is one of the most loved sport in the world, and we have different countries football league and people also have interest in these leagues and they are totally different from another country league and that is why people will always create thread of any league they find interesting and there’s no way we can stop them from doing that as long as the board is open for such to happen.
However, I will be against opening a league thread that is unpopular, any thread that people are not interested in to discuss about should be closed.
I have seen some thread that should be closed because people don’t discuss on those league threads anymore.
Yeah no doubt about that since football is actually the biggest sports in the world. This is the reason why many leagues pop up and lots of people like to discuss about different leagues.
No surprising to see more threads created, because each people have their own league of interest. I understand also the concern of OP, since if we look at the gambling discussion board. We are been flooded by many football discussions threads.
If they can make it more organize, then its provably more better. Also better for people to discuss about international leagues. Since somehow I also think that posting local leagues is unnecessary here.
