While i was scrolling through Reddit today i came across this particular post displayed above. To be honest, i have no problem with someone leaving bitcoin or crypto entirely, if you don't longer believe bitcoin has value, utility, or a future, that is completely fine because everyone is entitled to their opinion, what i have problem with is presenting personal opinions as unquestionable fact or calling everyone who disagree with you a bot, gambler or fool, just like this poster from Reddit did.

The claim that bitcoin has zero use case, zero value, zero users, except speculators is simply broad from my perspective. If you argue that bitcoin utility is limited, or speculation dominates the bitcoin market or bitcoin failed to become a peer to peer electronic cash system, then it is fair enough, because those are debatable arguments. But, saying that bitcoin has no users case or zero use case without providing evidence means your are just blabbing.

I also don't understand the argument that bitcoin being measured in fiat somehow proves that bitcoin supporters don't believe that fiat is valuable, how could that be possible when fiat is still the dominant unit of account globally. Even those who own gold, real estate, businesses commonly measure their value in dollars, euros or other national currencies. using fiat as a measuring unit doesn't automatically mean believing fiat is a superior store of value. feel free to give your two cents on the discussion.

What is it now? It's an elite product to generate fees from nothing, to marketing it and to sell it to fools. It has zero usecase, zero real value and zero users

To think that this individual actually did summarize Bitcoin to be a product that generate fees from nothing and it’s just being sold to fools speaks very loudly on how little the person understands or views Bitcoin.

Persons like this are those that only see value in what is government backed in terms of security and what they find to be tangible. Once it’s about the consensus of the people without any central authority to depend on should anything go wrong, then it doesn’t count. That’s a very poor way to look at it.

The word has advanced to an extent that value isn’t just determined by the government or how tangible an item has got to be. Perhaps the individual needs to find more reasons to believe and as a learned person, such individual can actually look at the steps that have being taken by several governments of the world today as a pointer to where the world is heading.

He isn't the first person to see Bitcoin this way, and he certainly won't be the last. He shared his own opinion, so no offence. Bitcoin was never a must, it was a choice. The problem is that people like him sometimes feel the world revolves around crypto alone. Bitcoin was created as an "alternative" to the existing financial system. It's not necessarily here to replace it, but to serve its own separate purpose.
So, you choose which pill you want to swallow.. "the orange pill, or the green pill(fiat)"..

This a an interesting part, having to call someone a bot, gambler or even a fool just because of they do believe in Bitcoin doesn’t really add anything to the discussion.Everyone has their personal decisions on either to support or disagree witj Bitcoin, but you disagreeing shouldn’t attack those in support of it. Those with the best approach at the end of the day will have something to show up for.

I am obliged to believe that such person has made a very bad decision or choice while trying to invest into bitcoin, either there was an attempt to treat bitcoin as a get rich quick scheme through maybe investing wrongly or probably have gotten their funds liquidated by trying to actually trade bitcoin, because this is all what makes some feel bitter after investing into bitcoin, it’s usually a hard to see someone investing into bitcoin and later starts hating it except maybe the they have made a great mistake which they don’t want to blame it on their actions but on bitcoin.

With the likes of Michael Saylor or strategy company been mentioned I am sure that person made an investment mistake either investing more than they can afford not overly patient, it will be hard convincing people like this because they are looking at bitcoin through a wrong eyes and it’s hard to try and convince them

Such statement is will often originate from such individuals; you know why?
Because they failed to actually understand the fundamentals usage of Bitcoin and tend to focus more on the mainstream crisis, but the real Bitcoin community who he refers to as bots and gamblers are more inclined to Bitcoin processing, activities and usage, this makes us different in perspectives, but one thing I just want to respond to is in the area where he says Bitcoin have zero usage when we have seen Bitcoin...
1: increase transaction volume.
2: self custody cross border remitance payment 
3: store of value for investors.
4: providing a base for layer-2 systems, e.g lightening network, all these activities' culmination is absolutely against the claim that Bitcoin have zero use cases stated in his remarks on Bitcoin.

People can dispute about Bitcoin utility, value or future, It's natural, but they can't say Bitcoin have no utility or no real user. Many big company and many countries are  staking Bitcoin for their future.

But since they posted this in a sub for people who hate BTC (r/Buttcoin), users over there would agree with them.

I no longer even try to debunk stuffs like this anymore. There was a time bitcoiners tried hard to debunk fud and false information about BTC, but right now, BTC's journey all these years is a perfect response to stuffs like this. I just want to add that bitcoiners do not really consider fiat to be worthless, we just agree that it is a currency heavy manipulated by the government.

Well.  Critics are everywhere in all domains you can think of.  To me, Bitcoin has utility and many use cases.  To them, it does not.  That is great.  I do not force them to use it and as long as they do not force me either, I have no problem with their thinking.  A lot of people are very glued to the Fiat eco system and they do not want to get out of it.  I do.

This is mostly the line of those who have benefited bitcoin at first and totally praise it, but when bitcoin's price is being compromised, when the market is highly volatile and price fluctuations appear every now and then, they start to say negative things about bitcoin before leaving completely. Honestly, I'm not affected anymore with this kind of narrative. They can say all the bad things about bitcoin, but they cannot justify that leaving bitcoin is the best idea. Instead, let the future success of bitcoin become a testament, but those who leave bitcoin, don't bother to come back.

I don't know what he actually read that led him to this conclusion, but in my opinion, whatever he read simply misled him into making a stupid decision that he may regret later in the future, I'm glad that he finally left bitcoin that was holding him back from becoming a billionaire, at least he can now pursue his dream life since he has broken free from Bitcoin bondage. Fiat is indeed heavily monitored and manipulated by the government that's why when Bitcoin came onboard, so many of the laws and policies we see being enacted were and still is geared towards making it a centralized monetary system that can be controlled as well.

The truth remains that Bitcoin is a highly volatile monetary experiment that has somewhat gained grounds over the years despite criticism and refutable claims from those who think they know better, but it provides genuine financial utility as a decentralized settlement network irrespective of the way others view it.
We don't have to always try to argue with everyone who has an opinion because the mechanics of its existence speaks for itself and one point I always remember is that, had it been Bitcoin failed, there wouldn't have been crypto currencies or even Ai tokens or AI advancement in the first place.

You know, we all have different narratives about bitcoin because some are open about it, while others are completely close-minded about the idea of bitcoin. As explained by the person who you quoted, the Reddit dude did not directly call believers of the Bitcoin bot, but he has had a lot of nonhuman arguments on Reddit. Maybe ChatGPT has been used to follow-up discussions. 

I don't even have an issue with this guy in question. He’s free to believe in whatever he chooses and, as long as I’m not being approached directly and insulted in my face, I just focus on believing in what I understand.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion about bitcoin but believe it this is coming from a once believer of bitcoin but today hates bitcoin because it has now come too close to what the guy in this post and others who formed a cult for bitcoin believed in and however, in this vain attempt to discourage others is the goal and perhaps he is not wrong to be mad with bitcoin for its involvement with most of the elites and in return they only milk bitcoin but you have no choice than to play your role so if anyone is mad let them hold it to themselves.
