Everyone Who Still Believes in Bitcoin Is a Bot? Seriously?

Everyone who uses Reddit under a random username, gives unsolicited advice or makes personal comments is a bot.

I have been buying, holding and selling Bitcoin for more than a decade. I know what Bitcoin is capable of. I have seen Bitcoin grow from practically nothing into a valuable asset. I remember the days when one pizza cost 22 Bitcoins. Nowadays with one Bitcoin, you can buy 22 pizza vans. So yes we need to stop taking these Reddit trolls seriously. We know our fundamentals when it comes to Bitcoin. We know how its value is increasing day by day. So yes let them talk negatively about Bitcoin holders. We have to just ignore them.

Doesn't seem like a bot but a Bitcoin hard-core critics airing his bullshit opinion about Bitcoin. I don't like engaging with such people cause they'll annoy you to the point of behaving like them, i mean using insulting words unnecessarily just for defense or to make a point, not everyone would buy the idea of Bitcoin and you're right that they shouldn't be taken seriously. Ignoring them is the best thing to do, at the end they're the ones who mostly regret not taking Bitcoin seriously.

Am quite sure not everyone believe in the potential of Bitcoin even uptil today, there are still people who are discouraging others from investing in Bitcoin. However, I believe Bitcoin investment is a choice, is only those who understand the potential of Bitcoin, and it's worth will still remain in the Bitcoin market. Not every investor is comfortable with Bitcoin investment, some think Bitcoin is too volatile, and does not fit there kind of risk tolerance, some also think because of the time it takes to reward investors they are not comfortable with it, but those investors who are comfortable, and understand the risk that is associated with Bitcoin , nothing will change their mind because they have found genuity in Bitcoin.

Funny enough, many who are still actively investing in bitcoin still think like him. Satoshi created bitcoin as an alternative to Fiat, but now, some bitcoin users are creating an unhealthy competition with fiat, tagging one "worthless" and the other better. Maybe, if there were none of such comparisons that tends to drag either bitcoin or fiat, posts like this wouldn't have come up in  the first place. Critics will respect Bitcoin, likewise bitcoin users. Bitcoin is just an alternative.

Well, it is not surprising, comments like this mostly come up when bitcoin price is low. When the price is high, everyone is happy. I wish him good luck with fiat.

I also don't understand the argument that bitcoin being measured in fiat somehow proves that bitcoin supporters don't believe that fiat is valuable, how could that be possible when fiat is still the dominant unit of account globally. Even those who own gold, real estate, businesses commonly measure their value in dollars, euros or other national currencies. using fiat as a measuring unit doesn't automatically mean believing fiat is a superior store of value. feel free to give your two cents on the discussion.

In case you are not aware, people do this thing a lot, it's not a new thing. Some institutional investors do this alot but there own is way silly and coward than an average investor. I noticed that anytime people plan something with Bitcoin and it doesn't work, they create false narrative to suit their exit and believe it's the reason why they don't like Bitcoin, the person in the picture is not different, he may even be interested in Bitcoin but he is not sure that is why he wrote that.

Like in 2026, somebody will not know what Bitcoin is about and be saying all sort of things that are not even related to Bitcoin. You know what's even amazing about such people, they don't talk about Gold like they talk about Bitcoin because they know they don't have any relevance that's why they talk and talk about Bitcoin. If you want to confirm, check the same Reddit group for Gold, the stories are different.

Personally, I don't really think that this comparison will stop anytime soon.  People are fond of comparing things just to create unnecessary competition,  so it's just normal to see people comparing Bitcoin and fiat based on what they value.
My only problem with this comparison is when it turns into saying one is completely worthless,  while the other is the perfect one. For me each of them is useful in their own way.

And as for that Reddit user, maybe he has his own personal reasons for saying all those things, but I don't want to assume that his opinion is based on bad experience he had with fiat.  I believe that both Bitcoin and fiat do have their own strength and weaknesses. So people should just go for the one that works for them without looking down or disrespecting on the other.

I know about that subreddit.. if you navigate through it, you'll find even more ridiculous posts about Bitcoin.. it's likely that the people in that section are either those who are bitter because they lost money in Bitcoin or other crypto, or people who work in the banking sector and the like. for a long time, I haven't paid much attention to that sub because their views on Bitcoin are quite intriguing to me, and I don't find it that important to respond to what they say, because it's just a waste of time to respond to those ass***... so it's best to just treat what that guy said as a fart.
