The question is if the games that the person said, is fixed comes to pass. Because if it's online groups which involves you paying money, its not advisable. Because that is scam in disguise match fixing is something that is done in secret and so anyone claiming to be fixing matches should be viewed with caution because that is a sign of fraud in disguise.

Scammers can go to any length in making, sure that they collect money from people so anything that will warrant you sending money to someone online is fraud. Gamblers should be careful because getting inside information to matches that are been played in any sport is one thing that is very hard and not easy to come by.

Matches fixing is one thing that has been seriously been fought against by various sporting bodies. And so even if match fixing is done it done with high level of confidentiality not with the general public like in wasapp groups or other social media platforms.

Any illegitimate group that tries to take advantage of a fixed matching on games will also be dishonest about being reliable, even in what they are doing to some of their group members, because the foundation is not right, and everything else they do will also be cunny. I don't think I can afford to join any group in such a manner.

There is no certainty that what they can deliver will be accurate, and it is not even something that should be found with any reasonable gambler should be involved in this kind of cheating. But also, it's not advisable for anyone who has a good conscience to be involved in this menace.

The person running the group usually only shares matches involving 2–3 specific players, mainly one from the Polish league and another from the Czech league. It's not like many scam groups I've seen, where they constantly share matches involving dozens of different players and claim to have “inside information” on everyone.
It seems that this could be match fixing and inside information since the owner of the group knows what the match result will be. However it could also be that the group owner has a lot of trust in those three players and has detailed knowledge about them.

With what I have seen and experienced throughout my gambling history, I know for sure that the group is simply there to try to get people to trust the admin, and after the trust, they would start to bill their users money for a premium subscription.

You would never see a real match that has been fixed being publicised; they know the implications if they are caught, so they would keep it hidden and use it for themselves, and not go create a group and start asking people to pay $20 for something they acquired with a load of money.

I know that this alone doesn't prove that any matches are fixed, and I'm not trying to accuse anyone without evidence. But does anyone know whether there have been documented cases of match-fixing involving players in the Polish or Czech table tennis leagues?

Look at this article: https://www.agco.ca/en/news/agco-imposes-350000-penalty-fanduel-failing-appropriately-protect-betting-integrity?  It stated that FanDuel accepted 144 bets from three Ontario player accounts on Czech Table Tennis Star Series matches that displayed multiple indicators associated with match-fixing.

Also, what would be the best way to distinguish between someone who genuinely has useful information and someone running a betting scam?

One has to try what they offer if there is nothing recorded on the internet or any witness that they are running a betting scam.  If you do not want to get scam, then better avoid this kind of services after all match fixing is illegal.

Game fixing is bad, but I knew that something is more off with the group where op said the owner of the group told him that he has contacts that supply him with the information he posts. That is a smooth evidence and anyone who knows what those guys are doing and still choose to remain there patronizing them, is still part of the problems we are having while trying to put an end to the match fixing pandemic.

Honestly, I will feel pity for no one there if they get scammed. Greed and the easy way out led them to the scammers. Next time, they will be fleeing from such groups for their own safety.

You would think that they would flee when they come across a channel that is offering tips or that’s promising fix matches, but the thing is that those people are still going to keep looking for more.

Remember that these channels usually post screenshots of their wins, so even if they get scammed they would still get enticed by the Ose huge figures in the bet tickets and that would prompt them to want to give it a try again and then fall into the same scam for the second time.

It may not really really be match fixing, Person can focus on certain players because that dude may have paid close attention to the playing patterns , and record over time. So that isn't enough proof that a manipulation is happening. What you should pay close attention to is how the information is presented to you.  If the dude giving the information keeps claiming that he knows the result before the match starts and the person only like to be showing only the profit that they maked and leave out the losses, that something illegitimate is going on, my guess is that they may not be fixing matches, but you see that group, it is dominated by a bunch of shitty and useless scammers.

Whatever the case don't bet money because person say he have insiders information. Nobody is to be too trusted. Only trust with proof.

If it were someone you knew in person, a simple way would be to ask around concerning their claims but since we're talking about online, it's going to be a bit different. My suggestion is that you ask them to present you past records or data affirming their claims. Don't just take whatever data they present for their claim on its face value. Verify them. That's one beautiful attributes of the internet – ease of access to information.

It's happening everywhere, even in crypto trading groups too, I spent $800 on a trading tool only for the admin to ignore, how can someone sell tools without the buyers asking them extra questions even if they already made tutorial about the tool? This was how I ended up wasting that money, it was a very long time ago and funny part is the tool that later works is just $75, sometimes to buy the truth you need to have bought lies already, this is the price to pay when looking for something that works, it's just that gambling case is even worse all these groups will end up milking you and that's the goal from the very start.

Why not instead of trying to trick casino or find a group that share info about fixed matches, try to win fair? When casino act under ToS rules and gambler get banned, warned or else, they always run online complain. When gamblers themselves try to win unfairly, they think it is ok Cheesy

When will people learn that nobody would share method how to earn quick and easy? I suggest to stop searching for betting groups that share something, but instead learn the game and use own experience to make correct predictions.

I think that in any competition where opponents compete one-on-one, it is always easier to make an arrangement than when a team is playing, and it is also easier to do it without attracting much attention. The fact that people tend to notice other people’s wrongdoing while ignoring their own is normal, because you understand the logic behind what may provoke you to take certain legal or illegal actions. But what another person is thinking, or what a casino as a whole may be planning, is unknown to you.

Common problem with those people seeking for a group like that is, they always try to find a good shortcut to earn easy money. But what they want is so hard to happen in reality.

Because if it really happens that there's someone have full access of those information. Then know which player had 100% chance to win for sure they won't share those info. Because they provably won't expose those things that can possibly give them a passive income.

Its just there are people easy to get manipulated, that's why even by now there are still lots of people still fall on those scam groups.

Matches fixing is one thing that has been seriously been fought against by various sporting bodies. And so even if match fixing is done it done with high level of confidentiality not with the general public like in wasapp groups or other social media platforms.
This is just the truth. Since the war on match fixing, it has become a deal done in high confidence and involves a lot of money to bribe the necessary parties involved. Such a capital intensive activity is not what is going to be sold for the peanuts these scammers demand on social media, anything sent to you from social media as at now is pure scam, OP is a newbie to all of this, that's why he is getting convinced by the tactics of the scammer he's currently dealing with, these guys are updating their tactics everyday and they always catch those they are able to convince. I hope he doesn't send any money because we all know how it is going to end.

Greedy and desperate people never learn, they often convince themselves that they are smart and can be able to outsmart the scammers before the scammers will be ready to shutdown operation with people's money. It is just like when shitcoins are launched, no matter the number of times people have lost their money to such scams, they still invest with the hope that they will invest earlier and exit earlier just to avoid losing again. Gamblers do this do, they just never learn.

I am not expecting every gambler to flee from these groups when they get scammed, but I do know that there are few sensible ones that will learn immediately from their experiences; getting scammed once is enough to make them stop patronizing such scammers.

Match-fixing in table tennis — is this group legitimate?

I recently joined a group related to table tennis betting, and something about it has made me curious.

The person running the group usually only shares matches involving 2–3 specific players, mainly one from the Polish league and another from the Czech league. It's not like many scam groups I've seen, where they constantly share matches involving dozens of different players and claim to have “inside information” on everyone.

In this case, it almost seems like this person has information specifically about these particular players, which is what made me suspicious in the first place.

I know that this alone doesn't prove that any matches are fixed, and I'm not trying to accuse anyone without evidence. But does anyone know whether there have been documented cases of match-fixing involving players in the Polish or Czech table tennis leagues?

Also, what would be the best way to distinguish between someone who genuinely has useful information and someone running a betting scam?

I'm interested in hearing from people who actually follow these leagues or have experience with table tennis betting.

Well, table tennis is a popular game but not too popular as football that gamblers troops in to bet on games so I don't really have a wider knowledge on how it's been done but one thing I know for sure is that manipulations can be done in any platforms that has to do with gambling so it can be true  that there are groups that oversee match fixing because even in football we hear stories of people fixing matches which I struggle to believe.

It will be very unfair when you don't have a concrete prooof of scams or match fixing about table tennis and you come out to say some groups are fixing matching so have a concrete evidence to back your claims. Majority of gamblers are lead by greed and selfishness and that has made them fall for cheap scams because they want to make profit and are very desperate to join any groups they see online not finding the authenticity of it before joining.
